I honestly am debating on switching to playing PVE. I’ve played tabor since like October or November of 2023 and I played purely for the pvp and the intense fights and the goofy interactions but now, the game is botched. From the movement being like COD to zero audio queues like footsteps and even most gunshots, to having the ability to bring out a Glock and shoot a rogue with practically a full kit, to full boss kits being every single raid since the first 2 weeks of wipe, the game just seems low IQ now. (Also to throw in the instinctive KOS engraved into every player and even the dev team promoting that).

For what I’ve seen so far twice now, I spawned by lighthouse, heard shooting and figured is mamba towards the road with the lonely guard tower going to radio, went as close to the beach as possible to escape and made it to workers camp, went to do my quest and loot all the way to prison camp and went back to check and nope scaves still shooting at mamba same spot so he must not roam or shoot back at the scaves, next time same so I was like I wonder if mamba gets stuck or something so I try to sneak in closer and dead from 150 meters 😅 but yeah looks like he stays there

I felt the same way, so i swapped to pve, did some raids got a good kit went to mall for jiris quest, and died because i got rushed by 3 fenix. And then i just started playing contractors

Same here. As I see it, solo gameplay is absent. I only play solo, and starting out at the Island now, is like being hunted from the first second. There are no hidingspots whatsoever, unless facing the odds against trio's who for sure are happy now that tree's got shaved, what makes it the ultimate trio paradise, not even have to use the flashlight item any more to exposing the tree's they are facing. I give up. I'm throwing in the towel. If just some tree's got the cover they had before, it would be a more fair shot against the solo player's survival, but as it is now, there are no place like getting wiped out by the trio-lawnmover tactics that it's like now. I'm not moving against Ex-pill Zone, or anything else, not even PvE, but rather finding another hobby entirely.

Yea, i do understand you i used to only play solo, till the update now i just play another exfil game untill someone wants to play, if they listened to more of the community than the streamers i think that we would have a better time all around, if they go and ask a streamer “is this game to easy?” They are gonna say yes, they have thousands of hours, but noobs like me are gonna say no this game is really hard, and i like a challenge but not in a 3 steps forward 4 steps back way

So apparently this is what’s happening. When they were doing the coding, they have the ai wielding full auto weapons in single fire as one shot deals 20dps at 400% accuracy (and this is just for the Luty)

Streamers are barely playing solo, and most of the streamers are very good at the game as well. The whole point of the duo-trio squads are if teammate's are dying it doesent matter to much since the stuff they where dying with will be carried out to the next raid. In this way they dont lose anything, as long as 1 or more in the team has survived, something they often do. Going solo is another gameplay, when a solo player dies, then the stuff are gone. It's much harder playing solo than as a squad. It was hard but it could as well be rewarding before they removed AP ammi from Shiro. Then it became harder. From surprise attacks to exception and avoidance, using tree's as cover. It was awesome, but hard to do. But now, without silencer, a solo player is becoming a trio-magnet. It's become friggin boring playing PvP after the new Island map.

They know about the reaction to the tree's. I think there are opinions from the Content creator group here in Discord where voices have influence on how they are developing the gameplay. And I cant remember anyone of the content creator voices have understood much about the importance of the cover from the tree's, except throwing labels as "tree-camper's" and "rats" and so on. Using tree's are 10x more than these labels represent, and are quiet unique way to shape a gameplay, that gives just so much more challenges in every gameplay style, both for the tree-hugger and those who meet a new challenge. Unfortunately the voices who shaved the tree-feature out of the game, removed much more from the game, than they may realize, for sure.

Yea, i think they should have some sort of cover, the drop rate is so fast, if im wearing foxtrot armor and get shot right beside cover ill die before even being able to get to cover, i was running a T6 fully kitted with kertecs helmet and a AWM but all that gear i got 2 tapped while walking though a door by a G3A3 using FMJ i think for sure the time to drop is bad, if it gets amped up it would also be bad for solo players too, because they have to kill 3 heavier tank players, instead of 3 easy drop players, but it goes both ways, if all players were harder to drop the solo has more mistakes he can make to drop the geared player too

You go in, and one of the ai enemies is wearing your gear, and your bag is one of the boxes or something. Kill the npc that is using your gear, get your bag and extract, BAM!
