Question, last wipe I didn’t have an issue with this and now I do this wipe. Used to when I would grab my gun I would grab with both controllers and then slide into my gunstock and it was perfect. Now when I do that, the gun is tilted to the right, like the forward hand is determining the angle of the gun. Has anyone had this issue? I am on PCVR but using Quest 2

To combat it, I grab the gun with my right hand, put both hands in the gunstock, then try to grab the gun with my left hand, it kinda works but is a little goofy when I get into fights

Well did you look at any of the tips and tricks people shared with you here multiple times? You pinged me a while back when you first received your stock and I shared what I'll share again below. The in game behavior you describe doesn't sound normal and should be straightforward to fix depending on your HMD.

If you are on Quest 3, disable hand tracking. Also if you are on Quest 3, you need to set up the stock so the headset sees the controller tracking sensors. The first YT video I shared is by someone using Quest 3, follow their setup to start off with. These 2 things could be causing your tracking issues if you are on Quest 3.

you are kinda late on that, i figured out how to set it up but now when the wipe came some bugs are happening that are not because of the magtube.

I have seen multiple different people with gunstocks not specifcally the magtube complaining about the same bug where the calibration is not very accurate, changes whenever you hold the gun slightly different, and the gun jiggling around when you are stable.

This is the one I use. I've tried a few others and I always come back to this one. Light, easy to use, and if you add the magnetic rear controller mount it makes pistol and item use easy.

Can someone help me, i am a lefty for snipers rifles and smgs but right for pistols grenades and blades, what gunstock can I get

Honestly there are not many options out there that would let you adjust to Left or Right (main hand) on the fly... nearly every gunstock is locked in as right OR left...

I can think of a few possible options..

1. The Armory-R1 by VR Tactical
   The controller cup can be rotated to accomodate Left or Rigth handed from the same stock... BUT... you would be a bit harder pressed to do it quickly/in match if going back and forther regularly because you would have to swap the controller and rotate the cup each time.

2. Any gunstock where both controllers detach from the bar... OlenVR Spine or maybe MagTube... might allow you to reattach in reverse... but I am not sure on this... you would need to research more.

3. One of my first gunstocks I designed is called the MrTass MagAim... it was essentially a bar with two magnetic connecting points. You could put either controller base cup on either spot making it "universal" for right or left usage. You would still need to detach both controllers, but I used to send out a lanyard that the bar could attach to link a sling.

Yeah so for the most part all you have to do it adjust the buttstock up and down just try to use the same grip across guns as different grips act differently

Once you get used to adjusting it aswell its literally a 5 second adjustment as you know exactly what needs changing

The distance between the hands stay the same, but if skolvr did a good job then it shouldn't matter that much most guns will work and gunstock calibration helps to align it properly

I dought it you would be able to notice it but search them up on reddit and look for "weak points" as in if it snaps randomly because I rember couple years back the kiwi head strap was abt £40 and it looked good quality and such but after a couple of weeks after buying ppl noticed that it was snapping in the back on the headset arm

Just make sure to research it so that it doesn't end up breaking in a couple weeks from bad desighn

The branded one there costs more because it has the stronger & lighter weight carbon parts. The major upgrade is the MK2 buttstock on the first & last one pictured, which makes a MASSIVE difference on how quickly you can adapt to different guns on the fly. The original buttstock requires you to make extra adjustments when all you need is the buttstock raised or lowered. I’d go carbon parts tbh.

Everything about Tabor angled grips is written in my Discord server from the product description, tabor-calibration chat there.

Basically your question was answered already. Tabor angled grips are creating off sets. Smartstock is a fixed stock. But even if it wasn't a fixed stock (Butcher, Tomahawk) it's not comfortable to readjust stock physically to different guns creating off-set each time in Tabor.

To use shift grip with almost the same recoil is much more comfortable than that.

Also you may put a standard grip on the bottom picatinny rail. I have such a video tutorial in my Discord.

Any cheap one off Amazon will do, i like mine that has a sling and two "cups" for my controllers to fit into.
It also has a set of magnets so that you can separate your hands without dropping the stock, i haven't found much value in that as its faster and easier to simply drop it when im using a pistol/shotgun
If you're using a quest 2, upgrade to a quest 3/other preferred headset with better tracking...before you buy a gunstock

Yeah. I play on an Index (not trying to brag), so I don’t got really worry. If I was to use a standalone headset, it would be a Quest 3 and use Vertical Desktop cuz i got a powerful PC. But, Quest 3 would be a upgrade for you, or at least I think so.

Two things I got to worry about are my Basestations and my index’s wire breaking, and being fucked. 😭

There’s built in straps, so if you let go the controllers wouldn’t fall to the ground. It’s different than the layout of a quest controller. However, when you’re me the no lift mf with almost 500 hours on GOT, you’ve been used to the Index’s controllers compared to quest controllers.

The first few days when I went from the Quest 2 (I played pcvr via Virtual Desktop) to the Index, my ass got cooked in so many hours cuz of the controller being weird to pick shi up? and my aim was so fucked cuz I had to reorder my Gunstock from ProTubeVR for it to fit the Index Controllers instead of the quest controllers.

It took me almost 2 weeks to get used to it and have my aim go back to being pretty good aim.

I too have a tomahawk. I notice you have to restart the game after you mess with the calibration stuff like for it to actually take. Even the turning the physical gunstock option on. For it to take effect I had to restart the game and when I would calibrate it was like it was reverting back to default. Until I restarted

I feel tabor should make the gunstock system more in depths for some guns and rifles, because not all guns can fit with AK

You can drop the ak and use the gun your trying to get it calibrated for

I found that out, but the only issue is that you can’t turn the guns left and right so some guns are just a little misaligned so I have to aim it like a little bit left in a little bit right it’s weird

Yeah, I’ve heard that’s an issue with a gun stock that goes over the controllers. The gunstock I got was an olen vr on TikTok shop it was only like 33 bucks, but it works pretty well

Am I the only one struggling with the calibration system. Every time I calibrate it just doesn't go where I put it, at all. Using the protubevr gunstock.

ive had had issues with the sks and mp5/smgs in general not calibrating for over a year now, i gave up and dont magnet my support hand to my stock but rather just brace against it or hover aim

no matter how i calibrate them the mp5 and sks is always different than the rest, i can have AKs ARs shot guns mp9s mp7s etc all setup but mp5 and sks, nah thay janked. the barrel/support hand is always pointing way up no matter how much ive changed the height, alignment/ barrel angle

i just doint ever use those guns as my fix

It's the same recoil as virtual gunstock, harder to control because U can't rlly counter act it as well, just wondering if there's a trick to it
