Do yourself an favor and dont buy off amazon. For faster games and generally my favorite, i would say get an gunstock from Skolvr. He has multiple stocks in various price classes. And he produces and ships from Germany. I got a stock and im from Germany too

you might need to rotate the dominant controller to align with the front hand, so youll grab the gun. From there, its mostly the butt position that defines alignment.

Just got a Magtube stock, got it set properly for my AK Alpha so i can grip it with both hands on the stock, but using a barret no matter what i try in calibration i have to detach the contoler and grip the Barret then attach to the stock again, is this just something i shuld keep doing, or am i missing something? Im using angled grip on main gun and it works ok, but maybe that makes it harder for me to grip bolts?

My understanding of using calibration is that it would mess with how i grip the weapon not using the gunstock also right? I just got the Magtube and finnaly got it setup perfect, now i can grip both the AK Alpha and Barret holding my controllers close to identical as i would without the gunstock, and with almost no visible gun sway when i grab with the forearm

This is how i ended up setting my Magtube stock from ProtubeVr, only played 2 raids but can higly recommend it. I can use it for AK Alpha and Barret without calibrating ingame. I spent 2 days watching guides and trying different setups before i finally landed this. Now i hold my controllers in the stock almost identical to how i would do without.. There are many guides showing how to setup a stock, i wasted hours trying to copy someone else setup which would work for them but not for me, so this is just for inspiration, do it your own way 😄

The knowledge in the video is universal and helps regardless of how you end up setting up your stock, as it teaches you the basics of how to adjust it and a good work flow to not spend forever aligning to a gun or other guns. Practice makes perfect, and finding a setup you really like makes all the difference 100%

i want to buy the magtube but I have a quest 2 and im thinking about getting a quest 3. Do you know if the quest 3 controllers will fit in the quest 2 stock?

OK so

basically the controllers have a different center alignment, offset by 15 degrees

the controllers will physically fit in the mounts, but in game, they will be pointing 15 degrees off 'center'

(quest 3 is same shape as quest pro, so quest pro = quest 3 in this image)

additionally, quest 3 controllers have another tracking sensor on the bottom to compensate for not having a tracking ring on top. Quest 2 mounts don't have a hole in them to account for this, which restricts how you can set up the stock without losing tracking

Anyway the tl;dr is - yes you can technically use the Quest 2 MagTube with Quest 3 controllers, but the experience won't be the best, and unless you get creative in how you adjust the stock (rotating the tubes to tilt/lean controllers inward or outward respectively) the 15 degree offset may get annoying. Should you decide you want Quest 3 mounts, it would be this product, to give you an idea of the price you're looking at. Typically the intended customer use case is they buy for their current headset, and when they buy a new headset (usually isn't months apart, but 1y+) they buy the controller mounts for the new headset to keep using the MagTube from headset to headset. So in your case, of getting now for Quest 2, then upgrading to Quest 3 'soon', may make MagTube seem more expensive to use for both up front if that makes sense.

Got some "transparent" PLA+ colors in to test and love the "crystal" look and so far appear to be as strong as other pla+ colors vs things like silk filaments to get a shine and have no layer strength.

GoT is one of the games where this one shines, due to guns being everywhere (adjustment wise) and it can be left aside, without the pain of slings. And it holds the controllers in cups without any looseness. But yea it does look scary. Thats how the answer to 99% problems with gunstocks look like

read through it carefully, everything is explained. The list is for channels that native games or mods use, and only a handful of them. It also states for any native game or mod not listed, finding channels will have to be done manually through trial and error.. Ghosts of Tabor is not natively supported. So it won't be in that list. Nothing in that list applies to Ghosts of Tabor, except the mention of SteamVR Compatibility at the end.

Why is it that every time I calibrate a gun My wrist break after I finish calibrating it and when I reset my game and grab the gun at my wrist break again in my calibrations totally off

This doesn't happen on any other game I play with a gunstock only this one

And if I use the gun that is given to me for the calibration, I can't hold it with both my hands so the calibration is totally off when I confirm it and when I use it the gun that I have on my chest The calibration is correct but when I confirm it, it's totally off.And when I reset my game and regrab the gun.My wrist like snap downwards and the calibrations totally off
