yes. dont use the side angle grip, use the shift. they have pretty much the same stats and it only shifts your gun up by making the grip point lower

Here is the example of how I calibrated the grip. I've sent you the link to that tutorial from my discord server and video in messages.
Here is how calibration of the front grip attachments is made:

Reset all the settings to default to ensure they are at zero. Weapon settings need to be reset individually as well.

I activate the physical gunstock — everything works fine without the additional grip.
With the grip attached, the weapon shifts to the side. -
To counter this, you need to raise the weapon with the left-hand controller so that the grip attachment point aligns roughly with where your hand is.
-
Now the weapon is leveled with the grip, but it shifts to the right. To compensate for this, you need to rotate the magnet on the Tomahawk/Butcher to the angle shown in the image.

Then, you can fine-tune the height by lowering the magnet.
The aiming becomes almost perfect.
With the SMARTstock you can't finetune, and it's not so perfect, but it's still acceptable and playable.

Depends how well you have mastered the drop. Off course a slings (1 or 2 point) Will always make a stock dangling on the neck. Holstered stock is always i one position.

I thought about the top mounted. They have more realistic feel to it. But oclusion is too much of a pain. And its more intuitive to put stuff down than hang stuff up, while blinded. And my magnets are of 60kg magbetic lift. No way youll miss them 🙂

This is probably the Best free stock on thingiverse. It has its flaws, but it has a locking system, magbetic crattles, pump action and X and Y adjustable butt
It doesnt allow the controllers xyz setups, but that feature is really high end. I wouldnt give it for free. Too much Time ive spent discarding failed prototypes and getting the right design, to give it away. I actually did share Uni T for a while but this is the hardest gunstock to build ever. It literały takes 8 hours of constant building. And only if you know what you doing. The eccentric levers are supported with an aluminium core with locked m3 self locking nut and wide washers on both sides. It takes patience to make

As much i am always for a full cups, maybe try the half cup on a front hand. Bowk has a full cuppers but he has them more shallow. The user pointed out quickly that he does not place the co trontroler i the cup. He does a half cup alike move. Full cup for the front hand is too cumbersome. Or make it more shallow like Bowk. Tbh half cup Will make this stock objecticely better.
But only on the front hand. It seems like the dominant cup fits nicely and. With the weight of this stock its totally safe for work. For Old times sake, i advice on painting the inside of the dominant cup with a rubber paint. Plastidip. I did that for Uni mk1. I do it for mk2 also. Obviously makers are too lazy to go the distances i went for securing the controller, but the paint is not that much of a hard and Ti e consuming work. It Will Def inprove the "grab"

The smartstock by skolvr is prob in my opinion best cheaper one. Skolvr has best stocks for me personally. I've tried one stock, protube magtube. The other ones just aren't as quick to use always trying to find the magnets to put controllers back on the stock after I detach. Also skol is the only one for index controllers that make sense. Good stuff

Yes I previously had a half cup in front for faster transition, but some people preferred to have a full cup since it's more stable and less tiring to hold if you don't have controller grip straps. I can put anti slip rubber pads on the half cup to keep the controller completely steady, but then it defeats the point of the budget variant, which for me is quick preparation time and most efficient production cost possible.
Though the normal version of the stock has 3 different types of cups for each hand with anti slip rubber pads, so the user can choose a half cup in front there. And it's still relatively low priced.
Maybe I'll add back the half cup as an option for the budget variant, but I try to avoid putting the customer in a dilemma between 2 options. So I thought get the normal version for half cup in front, and keep the budget version more simple. But I have to think a bit more about it..

Honestly for GOT that seems a little complicated. It looks like it would take a lot of practice to get those motions down to be able to put in it holster the proper way quickly too.

yea classic works pretty good. xl better it is has bigger and stronger parts. that full kit gives u other attachments to turn it into a 2point gunstock and have 2 connection points but tbh i only use the forearm brace for this stock. there’s other better be stocks but this is the best forearm brace gunstock

I have the cgrip had it for a year if yall ever think about buying it. Don’t. It messes up your pitch and its length is set for perfect use without attachments only for weapons that have a short range between your controllers. So snipers, bar, and certain shotguns will have a horrible pitch no matter how much you adjust it. And on top of that it takes 30 minutes to adjust it. I’d rather just play virtual now. 3/5 stock

The best 3d printed gunstock out there. I used to think just like this with my Mamut Apto 3 Wasp. Like nothing 3d printed could compare but damnnnnn was I wrong. This is made by someone with countless hours in vr who listens to the people and gamers both professional and hobbyist alike. Even just go with the SMARTstock and you will see. Honestly the best in between will be the Butcher.

I feel this trust. But having tried almost all of em I can't argue with what works. But if you want flashy and wow factor that is still great, Mamut apto 3 Wasp with the haptic buttstock from protube would be good. But even with my Apto I still use my tomahawk. Its quick in adjustability and light and sturdy af. Now if I had that haptic buttstock I'd probably use my Mamut more just for immersion factors. The mamut also has the weight like a real gun which I liked but other don't and after using the SKOL I do prefer the lighter stock. Haptics would be cool tho

I currently have a cheap one from Amazon and although it already has strong magnets I'm having trouble finding the right spot quickly. its a fantastic design, easy to connect, adjust the size and shape it to be ergonomic for your body and its second nature
having a stock be appropriately sized for your body is the key part for all stocks, no matter the design
so non adjustable ones are an instant no go for that reason, plus it wouldnt even account for how the game is designed

Yeah the tabor calibration is so ass. Best you can do is adjust the hand offset if you really want but it’s not the best to play with nor is it great in general.

Its decent, just dont overtighten the parts and you should be fine. Not the most durable, the cheek riser doesnt have fixed positions and can move out of place. Its just a pipe with 1 skrew holding it in with pressure. The grips are pretty comfortable to use, they're adjustable.

I'd also recommend picking up the mk2 buttstock straight away. It makes it so much better. You can quickly adapt to more guns with the cheek rest being able t just slide up and down vertically.

the grips are designed the way they intend them to be, so you'll want to adapt your gunstock to use the grips you want. keep in mind the shift grip has pretty much the same stats

Some times the gun will be pointing way to far up or down even after calibrating it and it will be fine for the first part of a raid but if I put my gun on my holster and pick it back up again the glitch happens

Yes but it takes getting used to 2 cup mounts, really light and easy to adjust. If you slightly loosen the mounts, you can adjust their position without tools but be tight enough to stay without extra force. Dont use it as often, but i do when i plan to use shotguns.
They also provide a stl of their mounts so you could make custom ones.

Other than what i mentioned not really, i just find a position that works for me. Sometimes remove the front and put it at a 45 degree angle. I did make some personal changes like a smaller padded stock and magnet mount. Helps with games that have difficult calibration. Dont have to worry about a cheek rest.

One not part of that list is the stock I use, the asset from olen vr, it's been doing me well and it's relatively cheap coming in around $60 for the base stock, there are also moldable attachments, for a 3d printed stock i find it stable and durable, I'd recommend giving it a thought

Go for it, not the hardest modification. Ive done it to 2 other stocks already.
Already upgrading it to a sturdier sytem using picatinny rails
@tall kettle So the way mine works is that on top, theres a 1mm ridge for the stock magnets to ride down over the holster. When its fully connected, theres a physical and audible snap. The other end of the holster omits the ridge, for the stock to slide down and off.

If your hands are stable WITHOUT. a gunstock, I don't think you NEED one. Gunstocks improve stability, not aim, aim comes with skill and practice, stability is just if you have it or not

imo if you don't have shaky hands, you don't need one. There are a lot of things slower with a stock and you're relying on the calibration not to bug or break and some of the skolvr style stocks make it annoying to take off if you want to play something else. If you want one for immersion, that's also a decent reason to get one

Gunstocks really don't help with raw aim, which seems like what you're talking about. If you use firearms in real life they can help you since it'll feel slightly more like you're holding a rifle

It does add immersion and if you know how to use guns mainly with ADS speeds with a buttplate it can help a bit. You can try one out and see but in my experience if your hands are stable, improve your raw aim

It definitely won't give you aimbot or somthing, but it does make aiming much easier, your hands will always be already aligned and ready to fire. Less shake/jitter, and no artificial slowdown/smoothing compared to Vstock. It helps a lot with aiming but you still have to point to the head yourself ofc

Don’t use the in game gunstock calibration just use the joints on the protube to make it align perfectly in game, I think scope of has a good set up tutorial one second let me try finding it.

Also just make sure when calibrating your gun stock irl you have virtual gunstock off as it can mess up alignment

Don’t worry if it takes a bit to get set up. Once you get used to what needs adjusting u will be able to set up a new gun in like 2 min.
