That does look like a pretty good stock for tabor since it has that front hand pivot. Only issue I could see is the chrome tubes causing tracking issues. I'll have to look into that one a bit more

At this point it's nonsense to recommend it for Q3 because even in review on it, it's said clearly that if to keep thumb on other buttons except thumb stick it starts drifting. That's a shame.

Plus zero possibility to distribute any significant pressure to the shoulder stock. Can you press with it as with normal gun to your shoulder? No, of course. That's a shame too.

And that funny little buttstock made for kids probably... Toy pistol with the rod in the butt as always with kobra🤦That's a shame again, with no doubt.

So nothing even close to SKOLVR, brother.

I can apply enough force to make it stable. You don't have any recoil so you have to exert a lot of force against your shoulder. In terms of adjustment, the kobravr wins points. That kobra vr works just like the other kobra vr one!! Tracking issues all over it. I oned it.. big design flaws! Who ever buys .. buyers beware!!! Mine ended up in the bin.. I stay away from kobra vr- there built in a way that alot of the stock covers the sensors in the controllers.. so just like resting the thumb .. makes conteollers spaz out!!!! Buyer beware!

Hey, not sure where to ask this but is there any way to stop foregrips from changing the entire angle of the front of the gun?

I have my gunstock configured perfectly, stock, pistol grip, handguard all where they should be, but whenever I put a foregrip on and grip, the entire front of the gun shifts, as if my hand is in a completely different place from my IRL hands.

I've noticed that my hands do move but I don't want the whole gun to shift just because I have a grip on, is there any way to fix?

That doesn't make it less annoying for gunstocks*, and we should get more calibration options, but the grips offsetting isn't the issue here

Ideally you'd want a list of every weapon, rather than 5 categories, and then calibration for grip and without grip
But that takes time, and just isn't a priority in development at the moment

I get that, but having to change my entire gun angle every time I want to use a grip is tedious. I dont mind if my left hand doesn't line up when using a grip, as long as my gun stays configured like I configured it in the settings lol

but there is a bug with gunstock behavior and grips related to guns that dont have a foregrip and its being prioritized for resolution

This is what I was trying to describe. With no grip, the gun aims exactly the same, not even moving. With the FSG grip, the gun moves slightly to the left, isn't a massive deal. But the Vertical Grip shoots off into the sky, making it impossible for me to aim without being at a weird angle. The FSG grip and Vert Grip are both in the same spot - lined up with my left hand controller socket on my gunstock.

And my argument is - it would be so much simpler if every grip was like the second image, and just visually changed the left arm to hold the grip. A.K.A literally using the gunstock settings I set 👍

GUYS I JUST HAD THE BEST RAID OF MY LIFE!!!!!!

So, I came in naked and spawned on radio. In one of the radio lockers I found a lonely akm. But I didn’t have a bag to carry anything. I decided to go check bag spots in military camp, but when I am on the hill of the grandma camp, I see 3 hard kitted dudes. I hid and waited for them to come and my patients got me a kill that ran straight into me. He didn’t have much, but I took his scar and got the other 2 dudes from behind the pillar. Giving me a tier 5, and a bunch of guns. But this is not the end of the story. I came up the radio hill and saw a kid going up sniper rock, so I took one of the scars and sniped him from 240 meters. Came up there but he didn’t have much. But then I looked at church hill and a kitted guy was sitting there. After about 5 minutes and a bunch of stems I finally got him, he had a tapco sks and what looked like vault loot. So I came out 35k korunas up and with two tier fives with additional good guns.

I’d say magtube, the calibration in tabor isn’t the best from my experience. You can change the gun stock to the gun rather than the other way around. I’ve gotten more accurate and hit more of my shots turning physical gun stocks off and adjusting the stock than with it off

It's so incredibly strange and seems to only happen using Steam Link on Quest 3 ... If I use AirLink it doesn't happen.

It’s not that big of a deal, once you learn how to do it you can calibrate a gun in about 5 seconds

i calibrate but it seems to have a hard time rembering once i save it, and im having this glitch where i cannot click my triggers to save and when i back out i cannot move unles i go to tabor markey, rn i calibrate just one gun and took it in and it felt fckn great but i cannot seem to use mulitple guns, i pick them off the wall and calibrate but it doenst remeber , more so with the aks, other games have such a great and simple system tho iw ish they put more time into it to make it like the others

ok great thanks! borrowing one from a friend to see if its worth the purchase (gunstock) ill give the calibration another go and see. I was able to get the M4 working pretty well, but I founf trying to 2 hand the bolt action rifles was basically impossible with the physical hand positions. however, calibrating the back hand was enough, and I could just physically hold the gunstock to use it well. recoil was a bit crazy, but luckily we dont have a force limit for grip/holding on XD

i assume you're going to be seated if using a bipod to snipe, which using a magtube while seated is a bit annoying. it can work, but doing anything really quickly with the magtube in general is difficult. Also magtube takes a lot of adjusting when you play with different weapons. it is a good stock, the cheek rest and buttstock are great for stability. I've only had mine for a short time so im sure adjusting gets easier as you familiarize yourself, but a lot of the time i find myself just going for my asset sbs

A bipod is for making shots 2km+ out

You can do standing shots in combat out to 800m with practice, no bipod necessary at all

Since tabor only goes to 300m it would be nothing but a ton of extra weight for no benefit

Yeah, I think that's why people like skolvr's stocks a lot. Snappy and good for close quarters. I end up playing games more tactically anyway (except for PAVLOV which is more arcade like).

I couldn't see using the magtube on wipe, either, but the added stability with your cheek for the buttstock is really what i think puts it above other stocks

well its a lot about personal preference but hes right when he says optimal he means bringing it up in the same area with it resting on your cheek

it just takes adjusting the controllers which like i said earlier, ive only had mine for a short time so i havent familarized myself with doing that yet. I spent like 4 hours the day I got it just trying to get my angled grip to work in an area where the angled magnets were comfortable to slip back on

you have to just like loosen the controller cups a little bit and then adjust while you ads, the issue that you lose your previous setup and things can go back really fast lol

I suggest people should send !gunstocks when someone ask for advice, unless they've been directly asked to then you can vouch for a specific stock.
There's plenty of info on that post for them to make their own opinion depending on what they're looking for.
This channel is gunstock chat and it would be sweet to keep it as chat than as a sellers marketplace.
But everyone should respond this way not just sellers because it's hard to verify who's behind it or who's affiliated etc.

If I configure a Russian weapon it won't work with the U.S. Weapons so I need to re-configure my settings so the U.S. weapons will work on my Gunstock.
