There are a LARGE variety of stocks out there .. in all sorts of configurations and weights .. made by a multitude of individuals and many with multiple stock options each ..

So recommending comes down to what you are looking for and want to do... And how much to spend...

Also higher $$ does not necessarily mean higher value of features.

As one of the many makers, we usually like our now designs best as they meet our original needs and thoughts, but there is general consensus for some of the stocks out there being worthwhile and go to's

Magni stock 70$ on Amazon Ab works perfectly fine all those extra 200$ ones are just extra my 70$ stock works perfectly fine for tabor only took me a day to get used to

The most classic of them is the ProTube, which follows the original model of a full and heavier stock

The newer stocks like the Tomahawk and others... Is focused on a bit more lighter weight and versatility.

The most recent iterations and go to like the Butcher, UltiStock, and my own Quick Shot... Are constantly attached/accessible stocks that you don't full detach or drop from, they stay in hands, but that does require lighter weight in general.

having to be aware of what you might hit with attached things is the tradeoff with that design

a full carbon fiber magtube is pretty light and supremely well designed, theres a reason most of the tabor CCs use one

It could be better but then it would prolly cost extra like most these companies are doing for 70 bucks you get a customizable platform not very uncomfortable but not comfortable it’s a gunstock not a pillow you wouldn’t be comfortable holding a real rifles for hours so not very heavy stays still tracking never messed up with me it never got in the way of any gun besides the m2 cuz how you load it other then that nothing stops it from doing it’s job it’s magnetic comes off n on quick I couldn’t recommend another stock due to the price hopefully wield drops they prices cuz I like the way those look

Now tell me about the VR Gunstock market and if you think it can support someone spending that kind of money... Particularly anyone starting out with an idea (that is often times better) vs an established popular "brand".

So even of these were "basement" shops, that in no way takes away from the quality and usability of the work they are doing to provide options to the community.

Additional FYI... I have great contacts with ZyberVR, PrismXR, MaeckerVR... None of them offer or have any interest in offering a gunstock... And they already have the contacts and systems in place for master molds...

UPS is usually fairly reliable. I have had some nightmare scenarios with USPS and International Equivalent hand off. It definitely sucks when something doesn't arrive in the time frame they themselves provided... Hopefully we will see an update overnight with some movement... or it magically pops up because they missed a scan somewhere.

In regards to the cost, I will also pursue UPS's guaranteed delivery and potential refund ability (which I have been able to do in the past). If I do get credit, I will definitely let you know and refund what I can from the order. 🙂

Hmmm Weird. I dont own a PICO so im not sure how that works, If your friends can hear each other it might be a game issue with the pico BUT I would double and triple check your in game audio settings and make sure they are set to the proper inputs and outputs.

Most irl guns have very limited adjustability for one's body size, a one size fits all is perfectly usable.
I agree it's not ideal as most comfortable option, but it won't prevent the gunstock to be smoother and quicker than a fully adjustable stock that is 4 times the weight and 2 times the size

most of the weapons we people tend to main in this game are adjustable in quite a few ways, but you are correct, a gunstock is MORE adjustable than most real life weapons so you can better take advantage of optimum ergonomics to maximize the biomechanics of shooting. my full carbon magtube is in the 500 gr fully loaded weight range, i dont know any 125g stocks i would be interested in using, thats less weight than the quickshot in its lightest design if I understand the graph posted above, and that is among the slimmest gunstock designs

plus, having a versatile disconnect and reconnect method, that can be done extremely quickly, means pretty much all of the weight of the gunstock is removed when you dont want it

and much like good weapon design, the weight balance on the magtube is very good, with your rear firing hand being close to the middle, with the largest single weight that isnt your controller being something that is born on your shoulder, which can handle a few hundred grams pretty easily

just got an olenvr gunstock, when i try to calibrate for assualt rifle with the ak, it makes the scar and m4 really janky, i try to ddrop the ak and pick up m4 or scar and calibrate each seperatly and it just messes each other up after i hit save and then i also cant move......is there a way to reliably calibrate each gun or am i just doing something wrong

Cgrip is good there is just no adjustability and you can’t use angled grips and such. You may also have your gun go to the side that you can’t calibrate to fix. If you could try and save up for a better one but if you want, I would use it as a beginner to even see if you would want a better one.

I can feel flex in the sticks that make up the stock buy they are pretty beefy so Id have to tweek it really hard to break

Im also extremely strong so it could be that. Magnets are super strong and to break contact push down does the best.

You can "weaken" the magnet with a layer of Electrical or Duct Tape. Makes it smoother to detach, but still strong enough to come together. My theory... better too strong and can adjust... than weak and have no options.

Lots of reasons.
Butt stock is too heavy, grips hurt your hands, attachment come loose easy and you can’t tighten it enough to stop without destroying the screws

The Quick Shot will work with Quest 2 controllers, although I provide (or advise) using a reusable zip tie or velcro at the top of the adapter and with the halo ring for added security.

I have an index and PSVR2 base adapters that could be incorporated, but... I don't have either system to test and tweak the angles appropriately.
