literally just a visor stock lmao
dis
Looked at that for a while but price is crazy high and I'm glad I didn't buy it for quest 2
Does anyone have a quest 3 gunstock
any index gun stocks?
magtube is the go to
Just tried doing righthand peaks as a lefty, very hard with a gunstock imo
So if straight tubes don't work, what do people recommend?
Magtube
Extremely
An amazing one at that. Been waiting to get my hands on it đ
Is it out yet?
not yet
look at the new gunstock being prosuced by tabor, tube with butt and works
actually originally designed by scott as buttless
Has anyone bought the Tabor stock yet? Think I'm going to buy it now.
Any details on your highest opinion? It'lb looks better than most as fast as functionality goes on the adjustments
i have one its pretty good to
prety cheap also
Not available yet, still in production.
Pre orders will hopefully open up shortly though
I thought I seen that they actually released it? You can def buy it right now
It's placeholder. You can't check out with it.
cant wait for the next calibration update
But no upgrade for the Q3.. đ
Before buy it, i need to know if someone use it correctly x)
Just clear the bottom for the Q3 camera
I keep wondering if itâs really true with a gun stock if you do just raise the stock and youâre perfectly aimed in, wish there were more videos online about it for the game. Iâll truly know when mine comes in soon
Anyone have a wall mount set up for their gun stock
from someone who has a physical gunstock is there any advantage over the virtual gunstock in settings ?
YES insane difference
Iâm so excited for it
is the different mainly in stability ? im brand new to quest so apologies for the noob questions
Im using the mag tube pro its insane whenever it comes to stability and snapping ability
straight stocks work fine btw. just pitch the gun in calibrator to offset the weird up/down the gun naturally gives off. if holding the gun makes it point to the ground, calibrate it so its pointing up then check again. obviously do the opposite if needed. @erierquiet made me a straight stock. been using for weeks now. haven't even needed calibration yet...
didnt cost me hundreds, light weight. he knows what he's doing, actually.
#skillissue
@ashen hull
This is how that stock is supposed to be assembled,
I notice you had to resort to glue, since you didnât use inserts
Those carbon rodsâŠ. #sooostraight

Rip usb C cable 2023
I feel bad for the original designerâŠ
This is why I rarely share my designs lol
This uses glue to temporary hold it in place whilst I acquire more screws
Getting some magnets this weekend too
just get the inserts. amazon bundle. no cable required
No need for inserts it screws in perfectly with M4 screws
first hand experience. it's way nicer. not even expensive. prob less then the magnets
till it cracks tho. its not designed for nuts
âŠdid you order matched magnets?
It won't crack, it's being used by me. They're not for sale.
just trying to be helpful since i'm using the same exact stock
hundreds of hours. it will crack
but since you're using only half. you could be fine
âŠbut where are you getting your magnets, because if you donât get matched magnets your gonna have a bad time
magnets are weird like that
They'll be from my local hardware shop lol
Good luck đ
Donât put that evil on me
closes all incoming Dmâs
Lol
âŠ.I foresee glue in the near future
ptsd face
the anticipation is gutteral
Like I said, be mindful of matching your magnets
I'm sure it's fine, it's really not that hard to print and compile the stock
Not going to crack, my resin is force resistant or some shit idk I watched a comparison video and it was much better
I play maybe 2 hours every few days haha
Even with the first bit of the stock I'm popping heads, I am interested to see what the end bit difference is
bruh. goT is life
I wish hahaha I have a full time job so can't play all the time
Anyone know why I donât have the calibrate gun stock setting available in options
Did it just start? Hot fix?
pretty big oof if its gone. they just tweaked it too
i work 50+ hours. play quite often.
but i get it.
is there any good stock for valve index?
Holy... I don't know what I can by for my q3
Tons
??
Probably. But no one fit with my AMVR grip
I think about a DIY method... But i don't know how put the magnetic connection
But it's straight... doesn't bend so how does it work?
Take them off
Has a magnet in the middle that detaches. Because the stock becomes apart of your controller, there is no need for a strap or a bend in the middle.
That doesn't make sense for a stock thougg đŠ since tubes don't really work with some weapon types
If they do their personal gunstock, it will probably work really great with the game
But it's a tube
And ? They will surely do a lot of tests
cant wait my Glistco gunstock arrive today out of delivery woot
that what I ordered this, https://www.glistco.com/products/magni-stock-carbon-fiber
Iâve been trying to be patient to get it
I share your pain lol I want it so bad. I'm just hoping I can get it for myself for Christmas.
To do that it would need to release next week
This stock has been built specifically with ghosts of tabor in mind. I'm sure they tested it enough to know what works and what doesn't.
Tru tru
One can surely hope! đ There's an option to put it in cart but it doesn't let you actually purchase it yet.
Itâs a straight stick Iâm not sure they need much testing tbh
Scott said near Christmas
They are working with a team that's been making gunstocks for a while now. I'm sure they know what's good.
Which is why I haven't purchased the tomahawk stock yet
Reason I havenât gotten the magtube
Would this work for GOT? given the fact it is just a string and I can adjust my off hand easier
I don't see why it wouldn't.
Reason why I'm asking is bc my Sanlaki Gunstock doesn't work with GOT
Is magtube gunstock good and does it have any weaknesses?
Or is there something better for 130âŹ
I even removed the stock from my gunstock and it still barely works
@uncut rapids that gunstock is badass love that Sanlaki, i was thinking buy another i can compare both of it
Sadly in the current iteration of the calibrator, it doesn't work đŠ I've tried everything so far
If I get it working I'll let you know but I'm really out of ideas, it doesn't account for the off hand at all
use calibrator gun in got, make sure ur offset going low till u see ur aim sight
or in setting offhand try -22
let me double check
@uncut rapids did u turn on hand smoothing ?
@uncut rapids did u turn on vr stock, if u do then try turn off and see its stable now?
-22????
hand pitch rotation offset -22
that way you can shoot left or right with door wall peek
I'll try these suggestions in a bit
Hand pitch offset doesnât change anything once you have a gun grabbed with two hands
-22 is a fairly insane hand pitch number
Running a gunstock calibration on a weapon class sets it up with its own hand pitch rotation that you configured
interesting
could anyone help wit the smg calibration?
Iâd like to hear how it turns out for you after trying
read the pin in the channel, there is a comprehensive guide as to how to use the calibration system and what its limits are and what common stock designs limits are
I will try when I'm back from my shopping and let you know
reaper we went over the hand pitch rotation thing yesterday đ
thats not going to change your problem
I didn't try -22 and if I can be the guinnie pig for anyone who is looking to buy a Sanlaki Gunstock for GOT purposes.
I'd rather them not be dissapointed
?!
how does your controller stay attached to the cup?
and it doesn't fall off?
Nope
Itâs like $55
And itâs fireeeee. 1 tapped someone 79m away with the AK Alpha
how is it called?
UltiBrace on Etsy

https://www.etsy.com/listing/1493962477/ultibrace-bravo-kit-pro-level-vr
This is what it looks like to over complicate things
is it good tho?
or is there better
check it on youtube @pure crown ?
It looks like shit if you ask me, itâs locked in and not magnetic so youâre gonna have a very bad time looting or reloading
Join Glistco gang
it is magnetic?
It is?
yea
let me look at it
I have no clue then, it just looks over complicated for no reason
so the part that goes into your shoulder folds so it can be like a pistol
alrighty
It probably does the job, but is overpiced imo
what a cheaper one that does the same
i donât want one that looks like a gun and i want it to be smaller cause i have small arms
glistco price are cheap but Im waiting for deliveried today
like i want a good one that isnât insanely long you know
@pure crown i will send you DM on link
ok thanks
sent @pure crown
freedom stock looks good, but I have no idea
link?
@glad scroll 95 price is nice
because ur in Canada, amazon price ripoff
Yep
not bad close to 100 @glad scroll
Or wait for tabor RAIDR gunstock, carbon pipe>plastic and costs less
CABON FIBUHHHHH
agreed with u , i would grab that once its annouce
Yes it's not too bad but I'm worried it will break in 6 months or less
Whereas protube is close to same price and lasts for more than 5 years easily
I've ordered this to play this game and I'm excited
Will that get in the way when you aim in you think?
I'll soon get a 3d printer I might design one and sell for cheap, I have some ideas already
only way to get on your hand lol
Thatâs the shit that breaks fast, would you reckon youâd be better then all the other sellers?
its on website no?
@glad scrollhttps://www.protubevr.com/en/vr-accessories/40-6069-magtube-for-meta-oculus-quest-3.html#/536-color-grey_pla/598-armature-chrome/601-buttstock-carbon_adjustable_stock_mk2
that close to 160 plus shipped around rough 12-15 dollar
Depends on the material used, but I'm thinking of putting everything double since it doesn't cost much to print anyway
so u have probably over 180 dollar for that piece of gunstock
Will what get in the way ?
good question but the best answer on your hand see how its going
The sight
Yeah but it will last 5 years, compared to a 100 dollar plastic gunstock that will not last more than 2 years
yes but Glistco has carbon fiber fyi
CABON FIBUHHHH
Glistco is not too bad too, are the other parts like cups 3d printed or injection molded?
it has injection molded but the printed is shoulder, grips i think
Ok
lol
It doesnât if you print it correctly
it's straight up a pistol shape with a folding stock and a side mounted magnet rather than a controller cup
only issue i see with that stock is that it's expensive as shit and you have hardly any adjustment to your length of pull
i've thought about getting it too before, but there are better options out there for significantly cheaper
what options?
@hazy stirrup
personally, for that amount of money, a protube
that's what i use, plus it's a bit cheaper anyways too. iirc, $150usd? you could probably get it used too, and ik there are plenty of replicas of it
i dont really use it for GoT, but when i did, aiming with it was great

this isnt fast
i havent seen faster
magtube is like 10x faster
and if i do a sighted conversion video like that guy is doing, i can do all classes in the time it takes for him to do one
do it
i bet your not faster
proof
-3 for sks, -2 for smg, -1 for most ARs, 0 for most others, and +1 for m1sass
wht bout shotgun
i dont use shotguns, they arent very good
but thats been the case in every vr game ever
your just bad with them
lol
proof
lol just come by my channel
this guy also didnt do it in game, so you don tknow that he ADS'd with any of them
so he doesnt even have proof
Know a quicker gunstock ?đ€š #VR #VRgaming #vrgunstock
do it in tabor
No time to waste with the OneStock #vrgunstock #vrgaming #vrgun
also not tabor
can u do that faster with your "magtube"
easily
ill have to make a video for it
Whatâs the best gunstock in the 50 dollars range
but the design of protube products solved that problem 7 years ago
and it was the first gunstock on the market
what device
oki but still people made better
yes, protube invented the magtube
ya ik but still
I've got some bad news for you
and there still isnt anything better
thats what u think
onestock Vr gunstock
It quite simply not achievable
freehand on top
height adjustable as in what
height between controllers
Because if it is on one straight plain, e.g the controllers can't line up bc of the offsets
EG - Sanlaki gunstock
reaper has learned that the hard way
Someone bought a sanlaki earlier đŠ
mmm
i learned that the hard way when i first started playing onward in 2016
I wonder if it will be better with the calibration re-work coming with the patch next week
Hopefully
i know what scott said yesterday, but, i dont think there is a signfiicant change actually appearing next week
the good old days
i know there is A Change
They would have to make it so you can adjust your off hand, or have true calibration with the second hand
So the one CWS itself is making fails to that too then
@royal wagon Do you have a video demonstrating how to do a calibration?
its more a floater stock
@winter orchid I'm so sorry, but the Sanlaki gunstock doesn't work homie.....
where you change the angle
Well my wasp will he here this week. Here's to hoping
Why would they sell the buttstock as an option if it wouldnât work any better than anything else available?
Does this gunstock work? @royal wagon
i dont see magtube having height adjustable feature
That would just seem like bad business and I donât think CWS would do that
Iâm optimistic the re-work will be better. Fingers crossed anyways
i dont know, people want it but i think those that buy it are going to be disappointed
when you adjust the middle joint to change the height of the front tube you are adjusting the height between controllers
its indexed so it goes up and down in a repeated, precise fashion
I think so too. I have a stock that floats and use it 2 handed, and itâs definitely not as good as having 3 points of contact
thats how i can go from -3 notches for the SKS to +1 notches for the AWM in less than a second
Way too unstable and unpredictable. For me anyways Iâm not good enough to use it like that
still need proof of that
come by my stream and i'll show you
when u streaming>
What do you have?
He has shown on his stream before. Demonstrated with the shotgun as well
that matches the protube design, it does work, i do know a number of people who upgraded from that to the magtube for better quality
and reliability
i dont know if its indexed in the middle like protubes are, so it might also be a significant functionality improvement as well
lol the shotgun is like -7, its kinda stupid
what did the devs say about the gunstock rework
@royal wagon so I'm going to have huge problems with my Mamut Wasp?
Nothing in depth. Just mentioned it in passing
thanks
ive not used the wasp, i believe it has the same articulation as the magtube, but im unfamiliar if it has indexed joints to make it highly repeatable
the wasp is their take on the protube design
with some extra stuff
It has 3 tubes but the controllers mount on the same one
yes, but doesnt it have a joint between the controllers to adjust the front height?
i presume thats what that is
ok i just saw a picture and i undestand it now
it has a join in the middle, but unfortuantely it only adjusts in one direction
so you can either have it one way and it will go from flat, which i would call the 0 point
and either go up, or down, but not both
The controllers angle itself is also adjustable
i use both up and down for the different guns on tabor
right, but thats a different adjustment
you need both positive and negative height adjustments for tabor
Well here's to hoping. It will finally be here this week
you may be able to compensate for only having one articulation direction on the middle by then also changing the cheek pad height
and im not seeing anything about it being indexed, which is a huge aspect of repeatability between adjustments
being able to make no touch adjustments between weapons is a huge part of being fluid
I'm really hoping I can find a sweet spot and not have to change too much between loadouts
yeah, it depends on how much you change weapons
I try not to change much at all tbh
i only roll with the ak alpha so i dont need to make any adjustments
but on day 1-3 of the wipe i'll go between an m4, tapco and cx8
and then i usually have enough alphas to last the wipe
I typically roll M4 and Galil so it should be close
The scar seems to have a little bit different angle. Not much but it throws me off occasionally
i dont remember seeing much of a difference, but it might be small enough i just do a front hand adjustment
On the Wasp you. Can quickly change distance of controllers too if needed
be careful to not confuse quickly with precisely đ
I even considered to gripping the gun in game then snapping in
that style of clamp is the same thing protube uses
you get it loose enough to slide down the tube and it will rotate as well
and ruin your precision
unscrewing and adjusting is NOT a fast change
it is a very, very slow change
Check this out, it's really taking off here recently for this game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1m-wDsdlC-A
like, really taking off. So much faster and easier to handle inventory
HOW
I honestly have no idea what that means
It's ok m8 i'll use it for other games . what stock would u say is best for the game
im personally going to try the magtube as it's adjustable and fairly inexpensive
magni stock***
https://www.glistco.com/products/magni-stock-mini
I'd give this a go though
No real adjustment needed with the off hand
Bc it's a string so you can cycle different guns without having to control notches
Anyone got one of these?
How much is that?
guess pvc pipe stock still on the table for me
Bruh
thats not a gunstock lol
It's probably the best I'm getting considering I paid over ÂŁ130 for GOT to not allow me to use it without breaking myself
Also a great alternative to a normal gunstock until a fix is found
. I'd make a few recommendations without straight up suggesting protube
if i find one i'll tell you
đ
buy nice cry once
anyone got a pretty good stock at a good price lol i have a 3d printed one but i dont like it
But, this comes from bias as a mag tube owner.
Let's me honest yes, as someone who already has a mag tube it's an amazing bit of kit, could I suggest the Istock over nothing? 100%
i use my 3d printed version of the istock that i designed over the magtube literally every single day
never liked the magnet style on the magtube
And there we go, some people also don't have ÂŁ120 to spend this time of year
I would reccomond an istock over nothing 100%. Now using over a magtube style gunstock is truly personal preference. i hate the idea of snaping into a gunstock; it will just never become a fluid motion for me. Especially in a game like tabor where you could be mid looting and have a guy jump you. Just use an istock with virtual stock on in game. That's whats worked best for me.
But i think 40 dollars for like a few bucks (if even that) of pla is wild to me. if you know anyone who 3d prints or have a 3d printer yourself i will glady send you the stl of my shitty little knock off đ .
is the 3d print file for quest or index if you have in index can i get the file by any chance?
sadly it's only for quest controllers.
Waiting on my wolverine to ship. Hoping it'll help cut down on my sight alignment time.
lmk how it was once its get there on your hands đ
I have an index version
3d file or just finished one
also is it 1 handed? like only one controller on it?
Yes it's one handed but moves with you. Major advantage for games like this.
Gives two hand stability
cool design but i am looking for a one that i can easily take off and put back on. just so i dont have to have it in my hand and if i see someone i can quickly grab it
No clips or magnets or strings. Just works with the human body
Oh this is better in that regard.
Love that design too fwiw.
Works great no magnets easy to reload perfect shoulde distance and cheap
Just my style! Nice work man
thx
Same here. I have a few designs I can share. My main product is a lot of work to put together. Fully adjustable on all planes.
the one i gotr is 3d printed
i was just watching a vid on your product. I would love to purchase it one day but sadly dont have the money to try it right now. I hope one day i can make such an effective product as yours. truly impressive imo. ill glady take any designs your're willing to share đ
the one i got was $30
that's a cgrip right? at least it looks like one.
yeah
how do you like it?
i love it so far yesterday i played about 4hrs with it nonstop
how fast did you adjust to using it? also hows it with the below par GoT calibration?
event has the pistol grip on the side to and super light weight pretty durable too
great except for the smg its a little off for the calibration but i manage
the biggest issue was the gun kept pointing dwn i fixed it the best i could but pulls to the left a little
Oh okay. Yea for my next stock it's inbetween either the cgrip or the ultibrace right now for my next gunstock.
or im gonna spend a lot of time modeling my own.
i tried to do that but the 3d printer is suuper expensive espesially the materials lol i just stick to coding lol
That's fair lol. I already own a 3d printer but i do need to buy some more materials and it can get kinda expnsive đ .
ong
16 bucks worth of sunlu pla plus and you're solid
on amazon i bet
Is the official gunstock on the tabor website out of stock? Canât find an option to add to cart
you wanted proof, ive got it
i downloaded his video to get really precise and measure the same way, from weapon starting to go down to weapon all the way up and ADSing
he does one weapon change in 7.04 seconds, i do two weapon changes in 7.42 seconds
his 'worlds fastest gunstock' timer is set extremely generously
if i use his method of not starting the count until you have a new weapon in hand and both controllers in the stock my time is 0.4s vs his 2.93
ive reproduced this bug and reported it with a lot of detail - also @warm vapor
on the AWM you can see the grip button indicator move around as to where it grabs
amazing, thanks rage
someone in chat asked me tonight and i remembered, so heres a vid for you
i added it to my original post đ
Hi pal I have bought sanlaki elite stock but I've been told it won't work with this game
amazing vid
Anyone know what gunstock short stack uses
I was told the sinlaki elite would not work with this game but you seem to prove it does
I was told the sinlaki elite would not work with this game but you seem to prove it does
Hiya. Unable to get the video to play. It jumps right to Friday night fragging instead
Whats a good budget gunstock for tabor
How're you getting that gunstock to work đ
If you're just getting started I would suggest the Magni-Stock or the Istock, both relatively inexpensive and allow freedom of motion compared to other gunstocks
Magni-mini, then when you got money, upgrade to an adjustable
@uncut rapids check out this video I made.
I really think the hand angle being low + steam link really helped but I could be wrong
i had 3 golden thick metal wire hangers. i bundled them together and bent them just right to make a gun stock. you use your pinkies to hold it and it works perfect. you can even slide for shotguns and slide your front hand to the right position for which gun you are holding. easy to let go for grenades or looting and easy to pick righ back up. basically free to make. if you had a 3d printer you could make things even better.
Anyone else find that the physical gunstock in game is bugged asf rn?
Yessir
Itâs just very counterintuitive, itâs not like contractors, Pavlov or onward. Ragesaq has a really good video explaining how to use the calibration. Itâs like you gotta go to market so you can hold all the guns and hold it and see what you want to adjust from it, like guns too low and to forward? Ok go to calibration and move it, but the actual model in the calibration is only for show to help see how much you are changing.
that tutorial convinced me its not worth the time
Aww man đ
Definitely helps a lot. I had been struggling with it since it had been implemented. I saw something in the chat yesterday that clicked for me and I was able to get most of the guns dialed in. I didnât do the rotation part with the front hand so Iâll need to go back and do that. Definitely appreciate the vid though
TRUE
PIN that video in channel
it is
i need a cheap gunstock any thing yall think i could get (quest 2)
Ultibrace is about 50 bucks
ill take a look thanks
SPINE gunstock works well on GOT? "Quest 3"
dawg thats not a gun stock, thats just a fixed turret XD
Any cheap but good gunstocks for me? im in uk
What stock do you use?
magtube
Ty
That oneâs like Sinlaki right? I use a sinlaki stock and works fine
sinlaki regular or elite?
it has two different
1 was open all the pole and 1 was stop rotation keep straight under body?
Oh def just get elite
Cause I bought regular then upgraded the butt stock to elite and should have just gotten the Elite version to begin with
@uncut rapids look at Ceps he able to use it as your, he can help u out?
Yeah what kinda prob you got?
he said he struggle something with gunstock as your in calibration
i dont want assume so i have to wait @uncut rapids tell whats his problem lol
Oh my fucking god Ceps is a fucking genius
I've got it very close with Ceps tutorial, now I can grip, but it feels like I'm aiming uphill in real life, but aiming straight in game
Before I got it to the point where it wasn't even close
Thank you omfg, literally so many people in this chat have said "lol, you're fucked" essentially
The grip points that is
But yeah, If you can find the solution or what rotation or direction I need to adjust to make it stop feeling like I'm shooting up a mountain, I would be forever greatful
Also the fact I'm using a the quest platform could be the issue
Whatâs your hand rotation @uncut rapids
16 as your suggestion stated
Hmm Iâd mess with it some more so like go to market pickup a rifle and see what you wanna change about it
I know my gun is slightly pointing up
Gotta go to calibrate and tilt the gun down
glad to see @uncut rapids that @steep orbit is backup for him helpful đ
Literally the closest I've been, yesterday I even spent another ÂŁ40 before this man existed
like i said dont give up but u got that working. glad to see u dont spend another 40 pound
inappropriate for this channel, the only appropriate place for that on this server is #đ€ă»pvp-groupfinder
i press the wrong thing đ
mb
If anyone knows a good and cheap gunstock (30$ or possibly lower, i can go a little more higher on the prices) DM me
Whenâs the GoT stock coming out?
im printing this one atm, does anyone had this maybe already?
where did buy this and is it good (dm me)
idk, im printing it atm
its free on thingiverse,
so its a 3d a print
most gunstocks are, u just pay for it 100x the material cost. this one i linked will cost me around 3-4 euros....
the stock for example
@steep orbit I allow myself to ask you questions about the Sanlaki Expert.
First, is it possible to remove the dominant hand? Is it easy to find with the headset on?
Is the gunstock itself not too heavy/bulky when both controllers are detached?
Did you have to adjust weapon calibration individually, and does it work overall whether you use vertical or angled grips?
Do you also have a Quest 3? Is the attachment on the top of the controller not too fragile with a risk of breaking?
So, I will be answering some of these boss
Its recommended (by Sanlaki himself) to build muscle memory with the headset off first, the dominant hand is easier to find because it had some clips at the back which helps you slot it into place.
No, it's not bulky, but with a Sling it's easy to move to one side.
I've seen more success with vert grips, but if you calibrate it right, you should be able to use both.
He does have a quest 3, but the attachments themselves are quite hardy
anyone know if this gun stock is any good ?
Doesnt look like there's a way to move the buttpad/cheekrest at all
it could work okay
for me thats pretty important on my setup
I think you can move it up and down iâll look
my setup
that part is what im talking about
If you look i think you can
how much ?
⏠129.00
It's the only stock I own and probably will ever own until it breaks/I die?
does it work with quest 2 ?
np, gl
Iâll let you know which one i get haha
sure, theres like so many options these days that you need to do a lot of research before you settle on one
back in the day, it was really just the magtube
basically you want an adjustable one cause GoT gunstock calibration is tough without it
You can wait for a GoT gunstock calibration update and maybe a cheaper stock will work, but currently thats not the case
Whatâs a GoT ?
Ghost of Tabor
Oh okay
Might be worth seeing what next patch brings, cause it was said in an AMA that there could be a revamp next patch on it
Erm you know any that is cheap and reliable
â
Okay well iâll let you know which one i can get / gunna get
I have glistco
gunstock quest 3. I had no time to use. I was busy since. đ«
I will test when I'm off day
Quick question does this gunstock work with GoT? https://sanlaki.shop/collections/all/products/sanlaki-lite-vr-gunstock?variant=42326239379636
@uncut rapids and @steep orbit
They both answered post but they closer to successful
Yes and no, we've got it to the point where yes, you can use it, but you will be pointing up slightly, mostly @steep orbit but I'll be doing a bit aswell to find out what we can do to bring the physical stock down
Alrighty thanks for the info! I'm going to buy it.
Okay, I'd definitely reference Ceps video first to see if you're comfortable
Alright thanks
That stock has awful reviews on Amazon. I was going to buy it but after reading the reviews I decided not to. Check out Brando Drum VR for good priced stocks. Also have a 20% off code if you want it. There is a youtuber named SKuzzy whos done some good reviews on stocks.
I have the Elite version of this and the Ultibrace by BrandoDrumVR. I use my Sanlaki in Onward, it works great with the gun calibration there, but I use my Ultibrace with the forearm brace in GoT without gun calibration because your left hand is free to move as needed to adjust to the different gun grips while still having stability during ADS.
Iâve been considering the ultibrace, but donât see much info or reviews out there for GoT other than one YT video, how do you find it? And did you go for alpha, bravo or Charlie?
I am not convinced by the Ultibrace and this so-called "grip arm," which is made of plastic. Moreover, being not fixed to the controller, I am unsure about the effectiveness of the grip. @grizzled oriole
Have you used one?
OK thanks
No, that's why I say I am not convinced. I'm not saying it's not good, though.
Ah cool, yeah thatâs what my concern was, if it would have the same effectiveness of one that physically attaches to the left controller for stability. But it also looks lightweight and easy to manage other actions in game compared to others
You also always have a part sticking from your dominant hand, which might hit stuff from your surroundings
Yeah. Correct. And that's why the next GoT Tube will be larger better
Hey do you guys have any gunstock recommendations for quest 3?
Yeah I think the product is relatively new. I looked it up after someone here in this channel mentioned it after almost picking up the one from KobraVR. Just look up BrandoDrumVR on Etsy. Here's the video he made about the forearm brace. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSUZ7xrKaF8&t
As rage stated the only downside is in the fly adjusting of the front grip. I have some ideas for that. Did some testing tho and I have it calibrated and working on 80% of the guns as is
Yo where did you buy this
MamutVR.com but full disclosure. I got it at 50% off. I wouldnt recomend buying at its current list at $189
Dam is it any good
very early testing atm. It is insanely sturdy as the parts are all carbon or machined nickel. You can adjust every angle and where everything is to your liking. Highly customizable but you probably wont be adjusting in game on the fly
I went with this one because of the magnet controller connection and it not being a 3d part with plastic pieces as contact points
Iâm looking for one that I can remove my controller for east side arm access and pick it up again and is very study and adjustable so I can fit it to my liking
Easy side area
Arm
I can very easy unclick my controller and grab a side arm or just unclick both controllers and loot/free hand if needed
So is it easy to re connect them to
the other reason I went with this one is because they make custom cups for all headsets so if I buy a new one you just buy the cups and they are all interchangeable
super easy. Its the strong magnets everyone is using
I was actually a bit surprised how strong the magnets were
Dang but would you say itâs worth it
@blissful isle is the middle joint indexed at all or free full rotation?
Between controllers being the middle joint
As it comes shipped its on able to tilt one direction.
Right, but the tilt, is it in discrete steps or is it full rotation
No resistance
I'm brainstorming how to modify that joint
It's a thumb screw with a nickel gear internally
Does it go in discrete steps
No
Ok
You could replace that with a pair of protube indexed joints to get improved functionality
I may do thar
Itâs not very viable to change it on the fly without that
As it's configured I ran AK frames, .556 frames. AwM. Vector. Mp7. Sks. All work
Oh and saiga
The only issue I have is after configuring the calibration my front hand is slightly twisted so if I let go of my grip hand the gun twists the the right
its done đ â€ïž and i love it. lets try it out
the mamut apto is the best imo and one of the only bottom mount index stocks as well
I'm thrilled with the apto so far. The thing is built like a tank
Honestly tho I would have never bought it at normal retail
omfg ! the gunstock is a game changer!!!!!
its 100x easier to aim now!
Anyone use the magni stock by glistco? Or know if itâs good for GoT?
Awesome thanks đ
iâm thinking of getting the tomahawk gun stock for christ mad
That stock looks very appealing ngl
Wish there were more videos and reviews about it, very versatile for the looks
Hi, got a problem? normal when i take one gun sometime, my hand are bugged maybe the issue its with the gunstock, my arm is really reduced in length
You have the gun calibration too close to you. The way the system works is that it moves your hand. So if you calibrated the "gun" in calibration you really shortened your arm
Does anyone have any suggestions on what stock I should buy for got
The official CWS gunstock once it releases.
Magtube, the go to gunstock
Any videos of the got stock in use? Only thing I've seen is one computer render
Itâs not out yet
Have they started manufacturing them yet? Or is it pre production?
Not a lot of details yet, I expect there will be an announcement when that happens
A lot of glowing reviews. Just wondering if I missed something.
They like to wait until itâs time to announce things
Glowing reviews? Nobody has one yet
It hasnât been released
Everyone is recommending it as the number one stock for the game
Just wondering if I missed anything
"Everyone"?
YouTubers? Links?
I think you are reading a lot into things
Nobody has used one so nobody can recommend one
Some people anticipate getting one
That's my point or rather my question. Why are people recommending it and what is that based off of? So much hype but I've only seen one image and that's it
So what is the best ? little hard to calibrate
I don't know what is best. I'm just asking what these unreleased stock recommendations are based off of
Whats the best cheap gun stock
Four big guys
Whatâs the best stock you can get under $200?
Is it a front arm brace?
yeah, to eaches own, its levels above th rest it feels. i love it đ
mamut apto wasp
It's currently in mold trial, as soon as that's clear, bulk production will start, and also pre orders.
Haha, def built like a tank đ
That's awesome. It would be cool to start a thread (whatever that pinned thing up top is) in this channel with all of the released info so we can point interested people towards it
Mine comes in 2-3 days
and they nuh uh on my eyes
Magtube
Whats a good gun stock for meta quest wanna grt one for my oculous
Not expensive but not cheap
You don't want clips or magnets in this game. https://youtu.be/1m-wDsdlC-A?si=js5OQl-XHMCX2M8r
See above
how much is that ?
@hollow zinc Im checking in your etsy right now đ
Huh?
Heavily disagree
That's cool.
I agree. I think having to clip into something in a game where you're constantly looting or your off hand is doing something it's important to be able to steadliy, quickly, and instinctively be able to shoot someone. A gunstock without clips or magnets do that.
How often are you forced to freehand?
I've watched enough livestreams to see a 200 dollar gunstock dangle from the players neck in a gunfight
Just sayin
Forced to freehand? You mean for shooting? Never
Cool, you've done well padawan
lol really?
Yeah man those things are hard for a lot of folks to use. You're literally blindfolded and you gotta grab two guns to fight
I look forward to the day where there are individually tacked physical weapon analogs that you holster IRL yet get tracked in game if that makes sense
I got magtube, but didnt know how calibrate this without problem with my arms
what specific problems are you having?
thatâs what iâm saying and that price is kinda iffy i think tdvr has used it before
can anyone dm me their overall pick for best gunstock to reduce way in tabor because my adhd doesnât help sway but a gunstock would
under 120$
after a night of raids with the Apto Wasp I can report it is really good and I was able to use all guns but one with no issue
I may still look into swapping the middle joint to something adjustable on the fly but I'm really impressed and I hit shots I was never hitting before
VR-HS with the SMG attachment of the VR-HS Lite, Both versions work with all guns in GOT Exact3d.co.uk
oh I'm definitely not in the market for a new one for a loooong time
Can I get your help with the vr-hs? Iâve tried to set mine up but I canât get it to work with any guns. Also, my off arm feels stretched out farther than Iâve ever had with any other gunstock. It feels uncomfortable so Iâm wondering if Iâm doing something wrong with setting it up
I just bought my new gunstock :https://sanlaki.shop/collections/all/products/sanlaki-lite-vr-gunstock?variant=42326239379636
Opinions?
Curious as to how you made your decision.
I liked my Sanlaki for other games where my loadouts were static since I respawn with the same kits... But in Tabor it's a chore to use.
What did you factor into your decision to get that?
Tbh I don't have a big budget and I seen sanlakis one online and it wasn't too expensive. I do play some other shooter games too so I get some use out of it if I don't use it for tabor.
yeah. u just hold the left controller against it
BUT
aiming is 100% easier now! reloading is not -.-
im printing now V2 where the tube is on the top side.
No buttstock?
i will try first without. else i can use the stock from my V1
nope! i dont need a stock! its a useless thing in vr where u have no recoil.
For me it just helps steady my aim
i played now 5 trainingsmission and this is the best so far. aim is on point and u still can climb and pickup stuff.
onlything is, its way to heavy. i make it out of stainlessstell(for realism felling) its grat while aiming, but its sucks while looting and climbin ladders. im printing now V2 Mk2 whitch a pvc tube. i will report
btw i pay like 1 euro for parts..... so either way its already better then buying one.
also most stock u can buy are also just 3d printed.....
maybe i will buy a resin 3d printer, item will be way more durable cause of curing..... but i will first try my petg print first
exactly! thats what i was aiming for. so far im amazed how much better the aim is!!!!! and im not even done with testing.
I ordered that one I'll let you know how it is when I get it
The point of the buttstock is not to reduce recoil, but to be more accurate/stable (lock the buttstock against your shoulder instead of having it flying in front of you)
I'm waiting for my 3d printer to arrive so I'm interested to know why you prefer without gunstock
in my experience its not made for GOT, in pavlow u dont have to be precise to reload. in GOT u do. the lower pipe will be all the time in the way. i just tried it out yesterday
Moneys already spent ill make it work
i ment RL weapons. you use the stock for more steady aim and recoil control (im ex military) in got u have to use your handy more then u shoot. in multiplayer games like cod or whatever where u know u will see a enemy every 10 seconds its a different story. In GOT i had raid and only entcountered 1 bot. i lootet basicly 10 min to extract.
yeah sry to hear. maybe u can report your experience with it. in games like pavlov u wont have any issues. u just have to be "near" the slot for magazines.
I don't play pavlov
I see so it's for practicality/freedom of movement
I watched YouTube and it make me buy it however I did so I can compare two gunstock till I pick which are best. By the way here's link it's look worth. https://youtu.be/CHimwJbri8o?si=TwBd9AEuXTaPtxp7
When my new stock comes do I turn off vertual stock
yes and enable physical stock
Ty
Also take the time to learn the physical stock calibration in game and try it out on all guns
i went in training, there u cant calibrate the gunstock -.- so stupid , u can only use it in your safehouse, i even tried the tutorial. also not working.
You can go to the market and do the calibration there with all the guns you have unlocked with Spectre
It does go in discrete steps, there's a gear inside of the joint with an index. You can adjust the angle as needed. I would say the steps are a bit wide in terms of angle, but you can adjust the position and it won't slip
What are the best gunstocks for ghost of tobor
I may have missed it but has there been any formal announcement about when gunstock calibration will include forehand adjustments?
Ok, just curious. Every day I play and lose a long range engagement I glance at my sanlaki stock on the shelf and shake my head.. lol
I'm just so bad at aiming free hand floating like that, no idea how people do it. But I would dominate with a stock because I've spent so much time shooting guns IRL
if I knew it would be 6+ months before they fix calibration, I might try buying a cheap mag tube style stock or even make one
but with my luck I will buy one or make one and then a week later they add the calibration I need to use my sanlaki
It's a gamble when they drop calibration like rage said I haven't heard anything in a long time about it so we won't know until it happens
They don't announce dates for patches or specific things like that
They did mention a gunstock calibration rework in the most recent AMA. Could be next patch, but they said a lot of things could potentially be in the next patch.
Other gunstock users just gotta wait and see
depends on your budget and setup, I have a mamut wasp, does the job
Wouldn't be surprised if something like that will be a thing when pre orders will start,
but not really under my control, my home is the Mamut discord
do it at the market
This works great. Adjust it to the game and enjoy the advantage. https://brandodrumvr.etsy.com
So does Mamut. Official stock of the game
which one do you have that works well in GoT? he offers a few models
The bravo and Charlie (medium and large) with forearm brace seems to be the go to.
Front end grip might work but the forearm brace is far more flexible
Versatile I mean.
See above, somehow replied to the wrong guy
I'm a little confused, does it only hold one controller?
4120.2003.9
Ah I see, not sure I'm going to risk $50 to try that, seems like there's a lot of room for your hands to get out of alignment there. Better than free handing though
There's no risk. Not of your money because I'll gladly refund and you simply adjust your aim. If you're freehanding your hands are already out of alignment and you adjust. This is far far quicker
Over 100 satisfied GOT customers just since October
Don't take my word for it though. Watch this review https://youtu.be/CHimwJbri8o?si=CbFDivNFNdqWFp0i
Thanks I'll give it a watch
@mental niche https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1m-wDsdlC-A
that guy skuzzy review and show gameplay he use it by design of @hollow zinc
That looks kind of like a shorter version of the sanlaki stock I have, but the butt stock is longer and raises the controllers up higher so that might work
Now I'm eyeing up my sanlaki thinking about how I could just extend the butt stock and raise it up an inch or 2
Hereâs my gunstock I made at school gonna work on another next year after getting some use from it, and find out the problems with it
rare gun?
is the ghosts of tabor gunstock any good. ive been considering getting it.
Got my gunstock dialed in almost perfect for ar's feels good man
Tier 4 but maybe post this in #âă»questions or #đ·ă»tabor-media
@mental niche Woodstock
which one do you have again?
yeah the top mount style seems to be the hot setup
I can say I highly recommend the mamut wasp after using it for over 6 hours
best stock hands down
you using with index?
very cool, bottom mounted index style here
I'm top mounted but it's fantastic
yeah, so versatile for any game, amazing piece even at full price
I used the Magni until this week. I got the gunface and I'll never go back. split stock is where it's at man.
I got that extra protube joint and tube.
Now its immersive with bullpups
Is it worth in your opinion?
i will recreate it :/ 90 euros is way too much for 5 euro parts. i do get u have to pay for idea and creation. but i can redo it in like 1-2 h and have almost the same design :/
back to the roots đ looks amazing. but how do u reload? isnt the lower wood all the time "in the way" ?
Sick!
Those hangers?
Does the âPhysical Stockâ setting make any difference when selected in the menu?
So far it's great, need further testing though
i love it đ
this is my latest version. i still have the problem, if i have the gun perfectly calibrated... i cant reload. the tube is "in the way" i dont even get how ppl reload with gunstocks where the pipe is below the controller. do i miss something?!
it only enables the calibration screen or?
Ye
Works great
like what?
Makes it more similar to when I'm holding the actual stock irl
/apply
So tried it in another game as my tabors updating, I havenât played in a while but it does hit the wood, I was still able to reload by moving it around the side a little
Although tabors reload is a lot less lenient in terms of mag placement
@delicate saffron
PM me and we can take a look
Upon further testing this stock is simple lightweight and gets you those easy headshots like you were playing a flat screen game
alot less?! in pavlov u just have to be in the same room with the gun and magazine, in GOT ...1mm off? godd luck next raid đ
Does it fit pro I wonder
I have a quest 3 so they should work on the pro controllers but im not 100% sure they are the same dimensions
Ok
I got a version I can just send you the files
thats very simple and lightweight, that end of point help your hand with your left for aim no shaky. it is easiesty to done for reload
what is the best gunstock no budget
Yeah most gunstocks get in the way of reloading. Top rails and bottom rails are a problem
Is there plans for better custom calibration? I hear aiming is wonky with a lot of stocks in tabor
I was gonna make another slot to put in the controller on the end and i ran out of tape
yet still , all i see are the same. yours might be better tbh , but im not sure tho. u said u might share some files with me? im very interested. even if its just to try out.
but in my honest opinion, as u said, "Top rails and bottom rails are a problem" .... i see that exactly the same
That shit looks like fire
I wrapped myen in metal wire
I present the âDollar Store Dominatrixâ made it for about 7$ for my Quest3.
Spends $500 on a quest 3
Makes $7 gunstock
đŠ đŠ đŠ đŠ
unless he bought 650 dollar as 512gb Q3 lol
thatâs cheap for a headset gun stocks be ripping u off for like 40+ for one
just for it to be easily made for basically free
Yeah I see a lot of that but I have disposable income so I treat myself from time to time
mhm thatâs understandable i got a nice headset but still wouldnât spend like 40+ on a gunstock thatâs simpily a metal pole or whatever yk
some of them are actually pretty cool so ig they arnt complete rip offs but half the time the price is just absurd
so i can see why ppl make DIY
I almost did but the guy was jerking me around about posting a video of it working for GoT so I bought an $80 one and so far it's really good
yea what does it look like? i probably would buy a cheap gunstock cuz im too lazy to make one myself but i cant even play GoT cuz of performance issues
but ye im curious to see it
That's the one he was gonna make the vid about
But I ended up getting a magni+ by glistco, basically the budget protube
ah i see it looks pretty nice
I might still buy it after the gunstock calibration revamp comes out
As of right now it doesnât work with GoT. I bought one thinking it would, but it might be better after the calibration is re-worked
I like everything about it just needed it to work for GoT
When is the revamp due to be released. Thanks
They said something in the AMA about it being in this week's update but that could've changed by now, really hoping we get it those week though
What happend to the ghost of tabor split stock? It wont let me buy it.
it hasnt been released yet
i say it again and again, how do u reload with this?! the lower part will be always in the way
I can reload with a similar stock
It's admittedly more difficult if your dominant hand is docked though. I can just disengage the stick to reload and click back in when ready
any chance to make a video? i dont get it....
ohhhhh
i pissed my pants đ đ
Not atm unfortunately. Basically I have to approach the socket for the magazine on an angle and rotate it until it starts to slide in. Once it accept the mag the angle doesn't matter
looks like a weapon u would craft in jail xD
So it's definitely longer to reload no doubt
yeah, but it takes ages to fiddle around
If I'm not in cover reloading I'm more likely to just drop the stock
exactly! well thank you. i thought i miss out on something
And even then it's still faster to drop the stock, reload and click back in
That's my stock for reference
How to make homemade stock
Theres not a full 4 point gunstock in production that iv seen that works immersivly with bullpup reloading.
ive never found anything special about bullpup reloading
it loads just like other guns, just in a different place, its pretty straightforward
What's the difference between the freedom stock and the official tabor gunstock
This makes bullpups a bit better you dont have to artificially calibrate as much to get a immersive reloading experience with bullpups when its like this
Didn't buy it I don't know
I donât know about that buddy
Why not have u tried it?đ
I just got the quest 3 cups for my magni stock+ today. In the original quest 2 cups the controllers didn't hold tight and were slightly twisted off center. The new ones hold great and line up properly. đ
Thatâs cool. Whyâd you swap the poles?
I kinda wanna do that and get another joint like the middle to make mine more like a protube
I got a similar design, ngl 10/10 stock
it's starting to look like a gunstock hackathon around here.
I saved money by just buying the parts kit and using cheap copper instead of the carbon fiber. Another joint is a good idea, I might consider doing that as well
Do they have the joints for sale? I didnât see them when I first looked
I know they have most of the parts individually now, I'd have to check though to be sure
Yeah, they have it
Sweet
When I get my quest 3 Iâm gonna get the cups and might get it
Whatâs the difference with the new butstock?
Is it just the look or is it actually an upgrade
I'm not sure about the original buttstock differences, I've only had this one
Thatâs what I mean they got a newer one than this
I didn't even notice that, looks nice. It looks like they beefed up the sliding arm a bit
Yeah
Amazon
I'm a total noob to the whole concept of gunstocks so just gonna ask the stupid question. What do you do when not using a rifle, do you detatch a controller in real time to draw a sidearm or go for your backpack?
Are there any gunstocks that work with a Q3 controller that have one of those battery grip strap attached?
magtube
If I'm looting I detach and have a pistol in my holster on standby, when I'm running around it's locked in
Most that use the cup style will fit q3 controllers
Oh I misread, with the battery grips I'm not sure ones out there
Thanks, I have a bunch of other attachments for other games (golf, table tennis) and my wife uses the controller strap for bodycombat too. So I'm trying to minimize messing with the controller where possible
Is the Tabor Raidr going to be better than the protube? Im debating on which one to get this christmas so any insight would be helpful
Its gonna be more comfortable. And less awkward
You sure?
its a different design, more limited and simple
i prefer a 4 points of contact design with magnets
@scarlet stag What gunstock do you use? Your aim is flawless in your videos so im assuming you do use one
I was looking at a gunstock thats very expensive but, would look nice to use for games like Tabor
no magnets and while you can adjust the off hands distance with the latch in the center so on the fly
I dont use one currently. although funny enough, the message sent right above this one is the one im getting sent LOL
looking forward to it, but ill review it once it is sent out
No shOT HOW IS YOUR AIM SO PERFECT
steady hands baby
Thats insane
Dang so my entire tabor playthrough can be narrowed down to skill issue after all
No magnets? how does it hold onto the stock?
it slides into the place so when the weapon is holstered than you can slide the controllers into the gunstock
ofc a sling is used
Wouldnât that cause scratching to the controllers themselves?
anyone who has a gunstock without a sling is a psychopath
probably a silicone-ish material
but ill give honest review once i get it
Ive never used a stock tho so could be a bit bias lmao
samee lmao, i just think the wield vr would be very cool to use
yeah it looks sick
when you getting it? Im looking at the protube or the raidr rn but that actually looks decent
I think in january is when they said
the raidr is way more budget friendly to the gunstock im looking into lol
we dont have a price on it tho
the raidr has two parts the stock and the buttstock, but its better than the wield vr's $151 price tag
well protube is like 170$ đ
protube is known for quality so understandable lol
the mamut apto wasp is the best imo
although its like 20 more than pro
worth it to say the least. most versatile, especially for index controllers
one of the only top mount
very dependent on which cups for controller
Finally came in, excited to try it out and see the difference in game
for free?
No screenshots
lmaoo
nice feet mate
your pretty good at the game
BRUH

But how you liking it?
So are gunstocks worth it?
Havnt played yet
Yeah
IF you get the right ones and have the patience to set it up properly
what gunstock should i get? im tryna find a gunstock for quest 2. not looking for the official got gunstock.
Magtube
can u share a pic of it with q2
Check their website, they have pics of it with everything
k ty
just redid my magtube setup and have ascended into a god now
lets go brandon
I've gotten so much encouragement over the last 3 years it's nuts
My gunstock business has exploded too
Watch that video.
Magni Stock + - VR Carbon Fiber Controller Stock Rifle Adapter compatible with Meta Quest 2 / Quest Pro/Quest https://a.co/d/gxaN9hK
It's the best bang for your buck
Think budget magtube
@strange field @pure crown magnets, clips, slings are hard to learn. It's nice when you're clipped in but I'm this thread there are lots of folks who talk about watching those systems sit on the shelf while they play GOT.
The new Makmut stock should be good, only one magnet and you're done
