I use a bowk marksman. It's been pretty solid for me, simple. I think I paid about 120-150ish Canadian though, was a couple years ago I don't remember. So should be arpind the price you're looking at.

actual .50AE velocity and joules stats would make it actually a pistol

right now i think its the same stats as the barret .50 BMG

For pistols I just keep my rear hand in the stock, put my left hand sort of on the side of the cup, a little underneath, wherever it fits nicely.

I found only one deagle on a player so far, was empty, and I was killed by another player geared to the tits. Lvl4 armor and altyn helmet

I haven't played much. I'm on quest and I've had the game since launch but I only play a couple of raids whenever a new patch is released and then I wait to see if the next one fixes some more things, optimizes a bit more. Play breachers or hunt showdown in the meantime lol

There’s a couple of videos on YouTube on how to make one using pvc pipes, or you can buy just the controller insert’s to a sanlacki light without the magnet and buy a neodymium 10 kg magnet with the hole in the center 32mm fits perfect and get your self a light weight metal tube and cut it to the size you want. that’s much better than the ones I’ve seen on here. I did this while waiting for my Kobra sidewinder and although I no longer use it I’ve still got it just incase I break my sidewinder. Recommendation for gunstock Kobra sidewinder all day buddy it’s the best one I’ve owned by far 😃

Protube has all the adjustment in the world. Baseline you shouldn't need that.

Plus the geometry isn't there to use that kind of riser. If you want to add height to the comb there are better ways to do it.

I think I know what you mean by your hands pointing down too but it hasn't happened to me yet so I'm not 100%... Go into your options and change the hand offset rotation 1 tick, then change it back to what it was. May have to go to market after that as well

My biggest issue, and it feels like its been getting worse and worse somehow. Holstering and then grabbing an SMG or Pistol off my body will make my hand angles freak out.

Its a simple fix, just swap dominate hands or tap + for hand angles in the settings.

But in the middle of a raid, and when your anticipating a fight... this bug is brutal!

i recommend turning on sitting mode under height cal.
you dont actually have to sit.
if you have on and press on the left stick ill make ur character squat down

ProtubeVR Magtube stick question: In game, when I have both hands on the rifle my controllers on the physical gunstock are exactly where I want them to be, however when I let go of the front of the rifle it goes way far left. I used to have the rifle when just holding it with right hand perfectly set so when my controller gets on the stick, its I'm the perfect place that I press grip and the rifle moves almost nowhere. I somehow messed it up and I can't figure out what I need to do to get it back that way.

i think if you dont put both of your controllers in your stock before pressing both triggers you can alter the horizontal offset

quest? when i had an cv1 for a long time and it was quite comfortable, i recommend the carbon fiber print as it has a better texture. the slickness of the regular PLA or whatever material was too slick for me and my hands would sweat a lot

which is slightly evolved over the cv1, its a perfectly fine design, i did probably 2000 hours in the original protube pre-magnets and you were constantly removing the controllers out of the cups

works great. the only tricky thing with stocks in this game is the varied gun geometry and how differnet this game is compared to others. thats why an adjustable gunstock is 1000% a requirement for any purchase

When you calibrate, push the gun out further, so they dont have to touch when reloading. You cant actually reload while calibrating, but you can mime the process and make sure your hands dont collide.

From a practical perspective, all of the ARs are the same geometry shifted up or down. If your gun stock cannot accommodate that there is a problem with your gun stock as much as there is with the game.

Do you have a gunstock that allows left and right adjustment? If so, adjust the front controller at an angle, I have mine so it's like the angled foregrip, this seems to help.

after creating a gunstock calibration you need to quit the game and reload

you'll see your hand pitch and or/gunstock calibration flip around until you do

using a pistol will frequently reset the hand pitch rotation

if you do a pistol run turn off gunstock calibration, and of course quit and reload the game

Most users then would go for the normal marksman. While the invert is thin enough that most people do not report occlusion issues, there is still that possibility. The invert Marksman is a little bit smoother for two point slings, and freehand actions once you are disengaged from the stock. However, engaging and disengaging from the stock will always be a shade slower because it requires an additional action. Either way they're good quality stocks.

Adjustability, and durability are the most important factors. These stocks will go through a lot of rough use over the years in vr and i am telling you that the ones they sell here will not last. Protube and cobra cqb are durable and they have all the adjustability you could ask for. This means that you can alter the physical stock to match the gun in game rather than using calibration to match the gun in game to your physical stock. This comes in handy for games like tabor, pavlov, or breachers that all dont have working gunstock calibration

Distance between hands is going to emulate the weapons in the game. Most common are M16 and AK variants, or about 10.5-12 inches between the hands. Most people do better with the 10.5-11 inch range.
