Have both you and them restart your game. It's an issue on one of your ends. Typically happens after leaving the game open for a prolonged time.

Here's some stuff you can do to be extra careful:

• only group up via groupfinder
• check server join/discord creation date
• check message history
• check mention history
• record DMs before teaming up in-game (so they don't have a chance to delete it)
• make sure they communicate their in-game name properly over discord
• if they have a 3rd make sure you have them communicate that over discord as well, including that they know them. (This is incase they use a to 3rd TK)
• Take SS of you meeting them via groupfinder
• Record your raids, if you lag while recording look into casting instead and recording from another device.

Meta updates their pc software and battleeye has to re verify a/some dll files

The tricky part with this is that meta never roles out updates to everyone at the same time so not everyone will be affected and by the time everyone got the update battleeye usually already verified the changes/additions

Basically after linking you'll just play on your chosen primary account from both platforms
So for example if meta is your primary you get all dlc and progress from your meta account

It's not being dumb, it's doing its job, sadly meta works a lot on their dll files and dll files are a popular attack vector for cheats so anything they add one or change one battleeye has to make sure the file is legit

Meta PC has updated, and Battleeye hasn't verified the files yet, so the game is unable to launch, there's currently no fix for it. only time will fix it, once BattleEye updates, the issue should be fixed.

Right now, the only temp solutions are playing through Steam Link or Standalone.

On your PC, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files and delete BattleEye, restart the quest headset. and try again, might take one or two tries, but it 100% works. I just did it, and I just watched someone on stream do it.
