Me and my buds have been having a bug lately where we aren’t able to grab anything, so we leave and rejoin. Then when we get back all extracts are closed for whoever was bugged. I would have submitted a bug report but I wasn’t able to get footage. It has happened to all three of my friends since the update with seamingly no cause. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if there is a way to counter it while they patch. I’ve lost two full krtek kits to it so advice would be very helpful

Yes, this bug is a confirm. A friend of mine had the same issue the other day. Couldnt grab anything. A bug-report is made about it, so the devs should be aware of that. A fix at the spot is to leave the server, and by reconnecting the hands should be able to grab stuff again. The issue with my friend was on Quest 3, Standalone.

That might explain why the bug happened on the standalone version then. Im using Virtual Desktop what uses SteamVR, and never encountered this problem.

The conditions for some of these are weird af.
There is the freezing backpack bug, for example. For weeks I never saaw it (also MQ3 with virtual desktop) and then one day, while in solo pve (so no server) I had it happen to me once with ragnar. Next raid - my geartech freezes and then same raid my sling I found freezes as well.

If it happens again, I will try deleting savefiles and see if it continues

I think it's a good selling point. When I bought my first VR headset, I knew I will be doing PCVR mainly so that was a huge factor in my decision, but since Meta did essentially all that I needed for fraction of the cost and offered a standalone option, there was no doubt on what I needed to get.

If they go full standalone only, I'm not buying another of their headsets, but as it is right, it's fine and good and I suppoprt it.

Dumb question, did look around to see if it was asked before but didn't see a clear answer. Does missle silo not spawn the key cards or streamer loot on PVE? I was trying to learn the maps a little better for routing and I haven't found a single key card in the raids I did do. I do know streamer stuff has a lower drop chance but I did think the key card was static in kitchen

streamers items spawn there, have found them myself. The purple...well...I have found it there before inside the boxes on PvP, but I haven't seen purple static spawn even once this wipe. Ant says he has, but I don't believe him to be honest

My personal strat when he spawns is to go 2nd floor without aggroing him, go onto the balcony then kill collector first then back off behind a pillar in the hallway and kill the goons as they come up the stairs.

I can typically do this without being shot once

After you aggro them it takes a second before they shoot back, use that time to kill collector.

Bug reports are sent to QA to test and then they are sent to devs to fix.
There are many steps that impact priority and speed at which it gets attention

1. Someone has to compile the bug reports and send them over to QA to do their job
2. QA need to allocate time and set up test scenario
3. Depending on the bug, it may be easy or difficult to replicate, this also depends on how good the bug report was
4. Once it's replicated, someone needs to send the exact details to devs to fix
5. Devs need to decide which issues are more importan and which as less important to fix
6. Depending on the issue, it may take couple minutes to fix or days to fix
7. Hotfix with fixes needs to be compiled
8. QA test the hotfix if it worked and did not introduce new bugs
9. It all needs to be packaged then nicely into actual hotifx/update and pushed to release together with other fixes/updates. This does not happen every day.

You are not likely to hear from devs anything about your report during all this.

Go to Quest settings > Storage > Search "Ghosts of Tabor" > Delete "App Data" (not the game itself, two different buttons)

PCVR
Windows Key + R > Copy this into "Open":

Delete the "Saved" folder
