You just need to realize that all the gear you hoard isn't yours, it's borrowed. All of it is gonna be lost at wipe, so it just goes to waste if you don't use it.

in general it might make sense to find out where they are going , or bait them to go up to the roof and ambush them , shoot on spots where they arent protected and make sure to stay calm and use their panic against them ^^ there is no shame in waiting for them in a different spot though in this scenario you have the higher position, just make sure to keep an eye on sniper rock and the spots where they can get up to the roof

In that situation you have the positional advantage. To sum it up I'd keep peeking at different angles and opening shooting maybe a few bullets at them, but definitely don't stay in one place and re-peek the same angle. If you wait it out and don't waste your ammo they will likely run out of resources sooner or later and they'll have to move and you'll have an better opportunity to kill them

At no circumstances you should be evenly matched with AI, AP won't help you that much if you are using correct tactics to fight AI.

Very quick guide to "Midnight Saboteur" Minty's quest in case someone searches for it.

Objectives:

1. Locate and destroy the 2 supply crates on the river side of Matka Miest Night (Use Grenades).

Details:
"Theres a shipment of supplies moving through the streets of Matka Miest by a group of FENIX. These crates are filled with munitions, rations, and medical supplies meant to reinforce their foothold in the area. I need you to go in under the cover of night and destroy these supplies. If we can cut off their supply lines, itll weaken their operations and buy us some much-needed breathing room. Use grenades."

Guide:
This can easily be done naked, just need to be bring a grenade with you. The riverside can be travelled carefully without drawing the attention of the Fenix
Just run along the river. You will find on supply crate near NRS and armor box spawn located inside a corridor, in a corner of the building. Very easy to spot. The other one is near Museum exfil, in a an empty overgrown lot. It's in the corner between building and the elevation next to river. The second one is fairly hard to spot without night vision.
In case you struggle to get to the other supply crate, you can blow up the same one in 2 different raids and it will count for the objective.
Generally Matka Miest Night does not require night vision goggles as it's brighter than silo.

Guise, imma be real. I stupidly stuck around longer than I needed just to get you the location of the second supply crate and got killed near the wrong exfil by a rat sitting there for quite a while. And this was a raid I found Barrett in. Since I am running 100%-gun-collection-found-in-raid-only, I might never recover from this so I just hope someone appreciates this one 😭

If this get known Meta has to work on the controller-tracking so it can compete with other vr sets. I got Quest 3, and the tracking isnt that bad, but I dont think there will be a quest 4, it's going to be something PCVR-only headset. I dont like Mark Zuckerberg's "The world.. it's my world" standalone concept. Thanks for the answer tho!

Because of the Quest's tracking issues, you cannot aim the SKS (+tapco, boss- no grip), BAR, Agram, PPSH-14, 1921 Thompson, Enfield, Mosin, CX-8 (no grip), or the Mossberg 590 with their IRL grip points.

A standalone headset is always gonna have challenges with tracking since all of them track the controllers using sensors, so if the controller is not visible to the headset (for example hidden in front of your hand, or too close to the sensors) then it'll lose it, so when holding guns it often loses a controller. This can only be solved by using what they did with the quest pro controllers or using base stations

Nah. Quest controllers track using a ring of IR lights and an IMU. The IMU only tracks rotation, while the ring is tracked by the cameras- hence why most old guns do no work because they were designed to be held with your hands in a line

MQ3 pretty much uses camera to locate your controller or hand if necessary. Never have I had problems using the old guns and lining up my hands.

Ahh so one hand is blocking the other then? The only issue I have noticed the tracking is getting mezzy as soon as the voltage on the battery drops. Normally an alcaline battery measure 1.6 volts, but when there are 3 dots left on the controller it measures 1.3-1.4 volts, and that drop is enough to get blurry tracking. It's noticeable when aiming on distance gets frustratingly hard.

Only times I start loosing tracking is when I start playing when it's light outside and then it goes dark and I haven't turned on my lights. And even then I only lose tracking when I drop my hands down and IR sensors are no longer in the visible range of cameras.

Most common issue is with small guns and having the main hand block sight of the second hand, which is what janky aim fix option in Tabor is for
Second most common issue is with really long guns like the sks where people bring their main hand way too close to their body when aiming
