Yeah, I just lvled up the SPECTRE store last night to lvl 2. The "kill 25 Fenix in 5 raids" for 15k exp is very helpful.
Mine broke, ended after 4 raids when I only had like 5 kills left
Haven't been able to play since Wednesday since I've had work but getting on tonight
Mine kept breaking prior to the latest update and would say I failed after one raid. Worked last night fine though
I did it on Island and would just do a circuit 2 or 3 times across the map, hitting all the AI spawn points. Could get 9-13 a raid doing that with low risk of running into players
I'll probably do it tonight, I already got lvl 2 from the kill 5 fenix quests though

Basically cleared all spawns then waited for respawn

I've been avoiding using any of my starting gear so just do silo raids to quickly stack my bunker
Leveling up the backpack/armor trader sucks. So few tasks that give any real exp
100 exp for 5 of any pouch. You need to buy and hand over 1,250 to level up, which would cost 541,250, plus a crap ton of time. The other tasks are just RNG find armor and give low exp anyways. I think they have a survive X raids and kill 10 Fenix tasks though that give a low amount, but enough you'll eventually level them
5 raids gives like 2500

This is what i've been prepping to track armor testing - on the side at work, but if you guys have a more careful approach and data set, i'd love for you guys to take over.
I was thinking alternatively, I could set up a google forms post, and have people send clips of each caliber/armor & link their testing video from youtube instead. That'd be a quick way to generate a spreadsheet automatically to pull numbers from
Methodology: Go into offline raid with gun + tons of ammo of one caliber + one armor (or two if you have higher tier that will 100% stop a round). Shoot self till you die. Give me numbers to plug into spreadsheet.
I will color code it all and aggregate data from there

With standard ammo for 22LR it just doesn't pen the "Chest VestB" at all. There's no armor degradation yet implemented.
I'm worried that some armor (Fort) might just completely stop the ST rounds
then we'll need to up the chart some. Right now the chart has a ton of values that can be accounted for.

using the jpc2 body armor from an SKS using standard shooting myself in the same spot results in
1st: 22 damage
2nd: 33 Damage
3rd: 25 Damage
4th: Dead
so theres some dice rolling on damage values or something

I think over half the players I run into come in completely naked. No gear, no guns. I don't think many know how to either buy from the stores, or how they can get their stuff from the terminal

UMP Meta confirmed. Thing is like a laser. Killed them both in the same second. Unfortunately my backpack glitched that raid and I couldn't grab it, but I was able to still haul out some nice items by hand :)

I made some animated trade room & armory gifs. I think i'll redo those shortly since it's not shot with the intention of making them for the Wiki, just extra footage I had.
If i could get my hands on the various NVGs i can film some footage of them coming on and off? Or we can just do what tarkov does on their wiki.
Gifs might be kind of a bad representation of the grainyness is the only issue I see coming up with doing it as animated GIFs

Missions are set to change many times so for now we will not be adding the rep and money earned to the missions
once we get into and more setup with missions im sure we would be happy to add more info
Yeah, for now they're changing often and none of them really have a specific objective besides "Find randomly spawning item" or "Kill", which are pretty intuitive

armor testing is getting interesting
When I googled the purple keycard I can see info about it in the google description but when on the site it doesn't say anything other than that it exists lol
so after doing some testing with the first rounds to pen jpc2 armor i have found that the armor has a percentage chance to decrease the amount of damage done but some time it doesn't block damage at all

AFAIK it's extremely complicated to map out in a sheet because it's all dynamic values.
Yes the armors have some "level" values, which determines if they block entirely, partially or not at all.
But the bullets themselves deal damage based on size (caliber), weight and velocity.
Velocity changes at different rates for different calibers
shouldnt there be a list of items available from each trader at different levels maybe?
Traders and the items they have at each level is subject to change as more and more guns get added, as Scott has said "i have lost count of how many guns are going to be added"
and the same goes for armor and equipmet
will it change that fast then? or atleast faster then id be able to document it?
it all matters on how fast the devs decide they want to put out content really, right now i would say it is high chance of change

I found a VSS, 1911, and an AMW in the purple keycard silo room
The AI in the meeting room of the 3rd floor research building is a mini-boss. He's a Fenix with a lot more HP than others. I've consistently fought him and had to shoot him way more than others, including most recently 2 SVD shots tot he chest and one to the head to kill him where most people only need 1

I've killed a number of people with blue keycards in their bags on Island because it's hard to ID the color of the locked rooms

I didn't realize there was a blue and purple card because they look so similar
bunker door is blocked by an invisible wall + the color is red
(also, purple rooms have like... really boring loot)

I opened the one on Island with a friend yesterday. of the 6 boxes, 3 were empty, one had a single mag, one had 2 LVL 1 helmets, and the last one had a couple reflex sights. Was not woth it that time.

I levelled from 1 to 5 in 3 days by repeating the "Kill 25 Fenix in 5 raids with an SMG" quest, as well as having a couple other quests from him always active, like "Kill 5 Fenix with an SMG"

I found a bug that I'll need to record for the devs later and do some testing with. When I was island, research building top floor, when I faced a certain direction my aim would go all jittery. I was spinning using the joystick, so it wasn't a tracking issue, and I could consistently replicate it. Was very strange

I've never had an issue turning in quest items. On occasion though, if I dump a large amount of items into the machine to sell, it will randomly stop allowing me to sell items after already selling some. I then lose all the rest of the items as I can't return them either
sounds like a personal problem on your side, i have done a good portion of the quests and they all work fine, if your doing turn in quests you have too go back too the main terminal after you turn them in from trade room

Since it's in VR and we really need exactly the same shot with the NVG's on and off, I'm just gonna throw on an NVG helmet then take off my headset and put it on a chair or something and take a screenshot with NVG's off, then reach on front of my headset and pull the NVG's on for the second shot. We'll see how well it works XD

What should be default should be determined by the main reason people go to the page imo
If people are looking for specific weapons by name, alphabetical is best. If people are trying to figure out what caliber goes to which gun, Caliber is best, and if people what to know what the next unlock level will net them, then sorting by level is best. Do we know mainly why people go to the weapons page?

I don't have a set aspect ratio since people were just uploading all different sizes. I just have them set to all display at a width of 400px

Once you hit lvl 3 you can buy levels from them. You unlock the GPNVG's then which cost like 46k each, but you can trade for 3k exp

@opal needle Are there different categories for the junk items related to how they spawn? For example, let's say RAM, CPU, and Phone are all "Electronics" and Scrap Metal, Pile of Nails, and Pile of Bolts are "Mechanical". Then you say "Electronics have a 40% chance to spawn in location Y while Mechanical have a 60% chance.
Or do you simply have rarity classes. For example, in every different container, like a drawer, a "Rare" item would be a GPU, Hack Tool. An "Uncommon" would be CPU, Electronic Wallet. Common would be "Spark Plug, RAM". Then you have the same class for all containers and world-spawns; "Tackle box, flight recorder" for example are only "rare" world spawns, never spawning in a container.
I ask as I'm trying to classify items on the wiki and need to know if I should have sub-categories like "Electronics, Mechanical", or if that doesn't exist and only differing spawn pools and rarity levels matter, or if it's spawn pools and every item has a certain % change to spawn in that container/spot, and there are no rarity classes at all.
If that's too long I guess only the last paragraph matters
We have 3 categorizations.
Type, Rarity, Size.
Junk would be a type - and all computer stuff is most likely categorized junk

Straight-on shots from the shop aren't the best for every item. Guns show the most detail straight-on, but have you seen other items like the can of cat food? A straight-on shot from the store would be rubbish. A more isometric or 3d view is better for many things imo

The ghost pistol suppressor does go on all pistols surprisingly. Would appreciate the extra help to build more functions into the wiki (i.e. showing how attachments go to guns). Could you elaborate on how you'd implement that kind of system/create a new page for weapon modding? Maybe just take a stab at it. Worst we can do is ignore it and let you thrive in your space?
Oh. oh. I have experience with that. Tarkov has one of the most extensive weapon modding systems of any game. We had to make a unique solution for it. I was planning on laying the foundation sometime soon, maybe this weekend

There's a "Mods" section. In that section are the categories of different parts that can be directly atatched to the weapon receiver. Something important to note. As an example; by default, the AK-74N has a dovetail mount so those dovetail optics are shown right in the mods sectino of the weapon's page. This AK can also hold other optics, but those connect to a part that directly connects to the gun. Actually... I need a diagram to explain this better. Sec.

now... the issue of creating individual pages for each and every item
down to rounds, mods, magazines and other accessories
So I made a diagram.
While the AK-74N can hold a sight via other mods, since it does not directly attach, it is not included. Mods are shown tree style.
If we showed all compatible mods via all attachments, it would be next to useless. What if we showed the reflex sight as compatible right on the page? Somebody would have the gun, and the reflex sight and say "Hey, why can't I attach this? The weapon's page says it's compatible!"
