How do I delete it?

Open build menu > select whatever part has the subcomponents you want to delete(in this case, a machine gun) > open the subcomponent selection menu for the part you want to delete > find the specific subcomponent in the list and hit the trashcan icon next to it

I only keep 2-3 of each subcomponent learned so that I always have room to learn a better one and replace an old one

For the point Point of Resource saves Feel free to do so , ive tried once to get higher stacks but mine where "Reduced" by the game on anything higher than 200 after reloading the save

How big is the list for non obtainable items? are there many such items?

@safe vector its in the post that Harbinger posted its the full compendium for 1.0 release, they tend to stage items so a quick browse will show you what's there and what's not, its how we got metal rails etc before they were available, we are talking about doing that process again for the revolver and other items.

its a matter of knowing what can drop and what cant, each chest has a pool it can drop items from. If an item in the DB isnt in the pool its either learned through ARC or its not avalible yet.

Sorry if this question sounds stupid, but how do the " .db"-files work in context with lost Skies? Explorer only finds the " .sav"-files so far...

.sav is the old File format, it does not work anymore. The .db file goes where the old save files where but in the worlds folder for saved worlds and so on

yeah its hard coded, you can change it per session manually or use Nines mod and even set it to 255 so you dont void your storage

if trying manually, remember its in the ItemInventoryComponent/MaxStackSize

but save yourself some trouble and use Nines mod lol

just be aware anything in your backpack and belt can be stacked to over 10000

as it wont get voided

and persists after reload

Right, but mabe you need some cannons more and then you better have more core power. Actuall I changed to Apotheus and two Angels on the top. Apotheus accelerate very good and need the same space like Trishells and I have enough power from my core.:-)

How shall i get more energy than with full gold and Purple/lilac Atlas? do not have more than 3 core Upgrades atm couse i was more fixated on lootin than explorin (And buildin ships XD)

There are two more upgrades for the core in the tech tree. I have 4000 and 4100 on m ships depending on what the game engine is doing with the material. Absolutely buggy game.

hey, there seems to be a limit for place able items per category for each world, for storage (all combined) it's 160. anyone ideas where to look for to increase that limit per chance? i'm using unity explorer, but no luck so far.

edit: maybe it's not per world but per ship? and maybe including all items, not just one category (storage in that case)? idk anymore. the message says "you reached the maximum number of this item", but it doesn't let me place anything else either. plus my game gets weirdly buggy after that message, i can't move any already placed items anymore, destroying things does give the resources back it's build with but the item remains there and is still interactable (until the next game load), and any newly build item, which doesn't really get build since the message pops up each time, still counts towards the weight limit of the core and uses up materials (also until the next game load) ...

The two headpieces are reskins of the same model - it's called Guardian's Hood I think or Guardian's Hooded Mask. It's basically the mask from the Godhand Mask but with a cloth hood that has a red and a slate blue/teal option.

Very plainly, in order;

· You told me you were missing blueprints that I remembered I had. You also said you were missing some of the head gear, which I've seen in area 2/3.
· I spend an hour or two after work trying to get those again without success but have a couple of wooden propellers that someone else has requested and the metal bird figurehead which you plainly said you were missing.
· I load up Harbinger of Worlds' latest save, and put those in the ship decorations box, and the wooden propellers in to the props box up top.
· You then spend my next work day progressively shitting on everyone who has contributed so far about double-ups and how they've put things in the wrong places - we do not care about your OCD or need to organise, we simply donated our time and energy to fill in those blanks.
· You tell me that you can't find the items I added and that food and schematics are missing from the save - I didn't move anything and again I don't care who did prior or whether you're just imagining it
· I reply saying where I put things and that there was only one instance of the metal stairs in there, right beside the metal bird figurehead you couldn't find and originally said you were missing
· You reply telling me that you were not missing the metal bird figurehead and never said that
· I go back and quote you telling us it was missing at the start

The "strange files" are auto-saves. Save and enter again than you should have one auto-save and it should work.

I lost my added stuff now so I try to get it back from my own world backup and I will build the metal chest in our save file new ... just to be sure this bug is gone

If the problems depend on the auto saves it would be better to find out if we need all auto saves or only the last auto save and the main save or all auto saves. Otherwise the problem will go on and on.

I think this is the typical chest-bug of this game and with trying to fix this in the last update yesterday they mad it worse perhaps and now everyone now is needed to rebuild some or all chests at first? Or someone elses files cause problems for others, but for that we need someone else to test it and not just the two of us

It seams that you need the last autosave now too but I do not get it at all cuz look at this:

As you can see the last files are logging points BUT the game did not make a right time

So what you need to do is: Wait until the game itselve makes an autofile ... as you see only the last one here has worked

as I loged in NOW ... all changes in all boxes were right

all tries before had bugs

it could be too, that you have to close the game and not only relog, but I am not sure

HAHAHAaaahaha do not try to rename your autofile to make it to a main file! This works ... sure, so you can perhaps save some items at your caracter ... but the world has this chest bug too and you can cap it. I did not try to rebuild the chests yet but perhaps this will help you if EVERYTHING gets wrong ^^

The current system doesn't allow you to restore to a previous point if you don't manually backup your saves before, for example, going up against a boss and you'd want to backup manually should things go south.

As I said if anything unintended were to happen the game, to my understanding, will only back up to 6 times, so if you've progressed passed a certain point that the current backups won't account for because you've progressed so much that you may be soft-locked to a point in time that you may not want to be in.

But I'm more than likely wrong, take it with a pillar of salt. Perhaps Nines can shed greater clarity on the subject.

i'm mixed on whether 6 is enough. saves trigger on island enter (i forget if it's also exit) and exiting the world. i think there's also a 5 minute autosave timer. so it is very possible to screw something up and have the unscrewed world roll off if you don't catch it soon enough

it was a more severe issue when the ship storage bug was going on since it's possible to not have caught the storage poofing until much later

this was my implementation of rolling saves during the EA period. haven't made time to update it for the current client

oh, i also did it by file amount. it's been a while, i thought it was set up to delete by age. whenever revisit it, i'd probably do a combination of max files & age. let it go past the amount but delete files by age to keep it at the max file amount setting.

You need to download main file, the Schematics.db , and one with .db.1, put them into the folder and it should appear when choosing the world ingame.
Tho, if you are saying that your problem is in the materials amount, you can just clone your current save, and take the mats from it to the main one. Just copy away the main file and .db1, rename them and put back in, you'll have the copy of your save that you can extract materials from and delete later.
But, their name ingame will remain the same, so you'll have to track your main save by the date.
