You need to set a couple of other items for it not to error out, I made a UFO and was devastated when I couldn't make it spin lightspeed while my friend grappled to the side lol so I put herald inside it and watched the magic happen.. we put a bunch of spikes facing inward and called it the blender... lol

also if your building a ship and need to remove a random inner beam you can do it without modifications, you just need to place a beam over the existing one then deconstruct the beam it will take the other one with it. for anyone making show ships

you can just change the value of a herald disk over to the Saborian Data disk and make sure the stash item varriable is True

you need to move the item in the slot, if its in the same position in the chest for whatever reason it reverts

you just need to move it over a space or two

so if you have a herald disk in the chest, modify it, then move it

should stick

as in move it inside the chest then apply the stash variable

yeah, you can modify your stash inventory with Unity as well just change the amount and research there is a data core close to the arc

BP's are based on the shipyard and for the larger cool ships we edit the shipyard for bigger bubbles and more blocks, without doing so you wont be able to build any larger BP sadly

if your looking to cram a bunch of stuff into a 20 block ship (no editing required) all you need is deer rugs and you place the core upgrades on that to have more than 3 core upgrades

you cant make BP from already build ships , Bigger ships turn much slower better said the longer they are the slower they turn . Current blueprints i work with

so I redid the resource save with a 605 block base ship you can delete portions off of to make "Art" ships with the resources in the ARC chests. Yes its gonna be laggy and because someone will ask, I included the BP for the 605 block ship as well lol if you can use it it saves a bit of time adding the sections.

The casing of weapons in the build menu do have names like "common saborian cannon 1"
So it could be the BP for one of those
But the casing isn't an interchangeable component, so it wouldn't be obtainable anyway

NGL, the wooden trunk is a downgrade for space. for 56 storage, it takes up a lot of space.

The 2 Saborian storage container trick I suggested before is still the optimum storage method.

For example, Assuming flawless materials, the Pillar pine cupboards on the schematics ship have 160 resillence, 53 weight, for 49 storage. By comparison, double stacked Aluminum Storage containers each have 286 resilience, 24 weight, and 30 storage each, for a cumulative 60 storage in a slightly smaller footprint than a single cupboard.

Also, Saborian Storage container w/tarnished saborian alloy and copper fastenings is 325 resilience, 33 weight, and matches your aesthetic. If you're interested, I'd be willing to make a world instance using the schematic save to demonstrate.

I don't know what you mean with "cannon 8-9". We only have 5 cannons right now. The 6. (Trunkmaw Stinger) is known as BP but not found jet. And the biggest storage is the one you get at the start. Others only are pretty but small.

Well the name is Shematics save ^^ , each save is listed starting with 0 (so save 0 is the first save and so on) and the game will set them in order according to the number. We are just adding the stuff then Copy/pull the save here no software or something else needed

-Download file
-copy to directory
-Take what u want
-delete
-Copy again from DL Folder
-add new stuff
-upload by Pull / copy here)

ich würde das ganze ja ganz anders prakmatisch mit einer Plattform aufziehen, ein hübsches Schiff taugt für diesen Zweck nicht so gut. Aber solange wir mit dem Platz auskommen gehts ja. Und theoretisch kann man auch nochmal Schränke in die Lücken stellen aber dann jammern wieder Leute rum die es nicht hinkriegen irgendwas anzuvisieren.

TBF, I still maintain that the devs shouldn't have different tiers of ore. The Shipyard description clearly indicates that its capable of nano-scale printing, which means everything using a Printing Matrix is capable of atomic precision; feedstock impurities would be irrelevant to a process that assembles (and thus can sort) individual atoms, so EVERYTHING should be flawless by default. Quality would be a matter of more advanced alloying, plus replicating alloys should just be a matter of scanning a sample at that point.

Also brings into question why we can't recycle everything into base elements....

Well, the base elements could be different tiers based on rarity, but the real fun would be mixing them into discovered alloys. REALLY fun if we eventually got into purple tier metamaterials. 🤓

The point being, Shipyard / Printing Matrix description means we're really working with technology similar to replicators from Star Trek, not your average survivalcraft workbench.

Keep in mind the hard and very hard islands will be ported to the next Ring, so the mats they contain is only accessible in first zone until then. which means Titanium, Wolfram/Tungsten and Gold will be the next over.

I really tried to find the schematic for the zylinder light guys but I faild. I only have "Basic Wooden Connector" new for you and a few flaw-ores and crystals.

I also added a new chest for special upgrade stuff to get more space in the other chest. I also added simple nautilus stuff which is also important for upgrades, but belongs to mats.

Sorted all items into cupboards, labelled every cupboard, added a few food items and crafting materials. I got 8 deep sky atlas crystals earlier today, but those seem to have magically vanished from any of my saves so I couldn't add them to this world.

Most of the cupboards have only a few items in them, there's just a lot of different item types that got their own cupboard. I decided to make a cupboard for each subcomponent type of each ship piece, so there's a cupboard for "cannon barrels" and "cannon loaders" etc.

There's also some empty cupboards that didn't get used, and space to add more if needed.

well Engine head does not need alu there are other metals that give way more Fuel efficiency

Sab alloy and Steel are way worse

Yes, that's right. Ok, steel for the internal mechanics gives the best power without reducing ,y resilence.:-) Now I have just to edit all my engines and somehow add the new cores.

Soweit ich sehe dürften alle Schiffswaffen und Flugmodule vollständig sein
