Maybe, just depends on how much damage Label can take in between invulnerability with shield mitigating some damage. I think I can fire off 9 shots every burst, every second or so, assuming every other hit gets blocked you’d need to survive 4 or 5. That’s as a direct target, I’m not sure Labels shield blocks splash damage so if Neon targets any other NIKKE or cover Label gets hit fully, if that’s the case for sure a poor counter.

to confirm. i did not formally crunch the numbers. i converted the doll leveling into a markov decision process and then converted that into linear matrix equations to apply the HiGHS LP program on it. this is 100% optimal in all scenarios but it cannot have mixed integers so i enumerated the different strategy outcomes

if you could spend 0.3 of a blue kit that would have technically been more optimal

but umm u can't do that so we end up having surplus in either blue, purple, or gold

Hey guys, I’m trying to properly understand the fundamentals of PvP matchups instead of just copying the same team structures over and over.

I keep seeing similar constructions repeated, but I still struggle to understand the logic behind them: which setups beat which, which ones lose against specific counters, and what are the key factors that decide the matchup — burst speed, position, taunt/invuln timing, Biscuit/Noah/Moran interactions, nuker choice, etc.

Is there any good resource, guide, chart, or explanation about PvP matchup basics? Or could someone explain the main archetypes and the usual “this beats that / this loses to that” logic?

I’m especially interested in learning how to read an enemy defense and understand what kind of attack team should beat it, rather than just testing blindly. Thanks a lot!

I don't know if I can answer all these questions well but essentially most comps end up in these categories:

Nuking the opponent
Protection vs nuke
Stalling
Indom

If u wanna nuke properly ur running a strong unit that can do teamwide damage. Something like tvesti or liberalio would be nukes

Protection vs the nukes are nikkes that have some ability that can soak it up. Noah is a common example cuz of 3s invulrn but bay can also distribute the damage on her existing cover making the damage way less

Stall comps are usually slower speed or involve a lot of damage reduction and or HP gaining

And indom is basically just blanc teams cuz she is the only one who can reliably cast it onto someone

I dont think theres easy 123 guides around I just asked around and read around here to get most the info. Plus just playing lets u figure things out too
