no it really is because nikke has a simple pace:

• play once every 3 months for actual progression due to deficit
• dailies are done within minutes
• SR/URs come like once every now and then
• pvp has become stale, i don't even touch it most of the time
• can skip most boring fillers as i don't lose out on anything, only actually follow story or interesting events

really hard to burnout on this because of the above

As part of this update, the overall rewards in Anomaly Interception will be increased starting from phase 1. Our preparations were carried out specifically with the goal of increasing the acquisition of Custom Modules and T9 Manufacturer Equipment, which are highly valued by our Commanders.

We are still adjusting specific values at the moment, so I can't share exact figures yet, but for the increase in Custom Module rewards, the target levels are as follows:

Under normal circumstances outside Full Burst Day, reaching phase 7 in Anomaly Interception with three daily attempts is expected to yield as many Custom Modules as the daily missions in the Surface content beta did.

On Full Burst Days, the expected yield will increase further, providing a more satisfying boost.

At the same time, completion rewards will be given for phases 8 and 9, which don't hold much significance beyond the record itself. We hope that with these improvements, Anomaly Interception can serve as a challenge-focused content, while making it easier to obtain Custom Modules and equipment.

We aim to implement this update in April. Aside from this, an additional system to increase Custom Module acquisition is under discussion and will be introduced to you as our work progresses.

Intro
* Nikke intro (one handed jiggling butts gacha)
* PvP = AI autobattle
* Knowledge is power; "The fight is already decided before it has even begun"

PvP Modes
* Rookie Arena, 1 team, you pick the attack team 
* SP Arena, 3 teams, you pick the attack team
* Champion Arena, 5 teams, effectively random matchups
* Winner based on team comp and investments
* In Rookie and SP, building the right attack team comp is the key to success 
* In CA, since randomized matchups, building 5 general strong teams is key to success
* CP penalty: > 15.4% CP diff = huge stat loss
* Rookie & SP feature CP penalty so wallet speaks, but CA doesn't
* This video is mainly tailored towards Champion Arena since it's the end game for PvP, but most of the lessons apply to Rookie and SP

Types of units
* Standard RPG archetypes 
* Tank: taunt, shield, 
* DPS: single target, AoE, DoT
* Support: attack buff, defensive buff, healer
* Utility: revive, distributed damage, burst gen batteries
* Standard team of 5 is 1 tank, 1-2 DPS and 2-3 support
* 1 tank, 1 buffer, 1 DPS, 2 batteries
* 2 buffer, 1 DPS, 2 batteries
* 2 tanks, 1 DPS, 2 healers
* 1 buffer, 4 DPS
* Etc

Stats:
* Attacker vs support vs defense base stats
* Gear, OL, dolls, cubes
* Damage related buffs: attack+, atk dmg+, dmg taken+
* Survivability: dmg reduction, max HP, heal, taunt, invuln, indom
* Burst: burst gen, charge speed

Burst gen:
* 1 rotation
* B1 -> B2 -> B3 -> Full Burst
* Burst gen per ammo, 30fps
* Bucket analogy, burst gen cube and battery
* Measuring: RL vs frames vs seconds

Team archtypes
* Balanced = Rock Paper Scissors
* Traditional: Cleave, Bruiser, Sniper
* Nikke: AoE cleave (Scissors), AoE continual (Paper), Sustain (Rock), Sniper (BB gun)
* Some units fall under multiple categories depending on how you build their team

AoE cleave:
* Main team type, most common and easiest to build
* Scarlet, Cindy, Emilia, VestiT, Ayanami Rei (both versions), 2B, MPrivaty, etc
* Do or die, AoE 1 shot everything at once
* 1) buff enough to guarantee 1 shot (self buffs+ B1 + B2 + passives), then 2) enough burst gen to burst fast
* Countered by invuln/indom/sustain comps but stat check
* Some nukes delayed (Emilia, Cindy, Liberalio, SWHA) so protection during burst animation is needed

AoE continuous:
* Falling off, not as strong, high investment req, kind of a
* Scarlet, Scalter, SAnis, Ein, Emilia, VestiT, A2, Laplace
* Deal damage over time to multiple targets
* Requires a defensive mechanism so team is able to stay alive during the continual damage duration (pseudo bruiser) 
* Usually requires Blanc, Noah or Biscuit
* Countered by both faster AoE nuke and sustain comps, as well as invuln/indom

Sustain:
* Highest investment req but very strong if built properly
* Helm+, Moran, Nero, Rapunzel, Mana, Bay+, Noah, Biscuit, Quiry
* Depends on damage reduction and continual healing
* Some combo possible to achieve 100% DR so once it gets going, very hard to kill
* Relies on general damage during full burst to win or live until second burst
* Struggles with burst gen due to specific units being needed and they generally have low burst gen
* Countered by higher investment AoE cleave or Sustain

Sniper:
* Not currently a meta atm due to lack of bruisers and not strong enough to counter current sustain comps, but may be in the future
* Helm+, Rosanna, Red Hood, Alice
* Rather than try to AoE cleave entire team, focus on individual units one by one
* Similar as AoE cleave, need enough damage to 1 shot (or multi shot very fast), ideally a priority target
* SRs target P5 on attack, SGs target P5 on defence
* Countered by pretty much everything, plus taunt

Tools:
* PvP tier list: refer to my spreadsheet
* Nikke Deck: visual tool to team build, uses the RL simplified model, "Bohr model"
* Nikke Work: more advanced tool, calculates frames so more accurate, "standard model"

Showcase 
* Understanding types very important for attack in Rookie and SP Arena
* Even more important in CA where 5 teams and no CP advantage. Flip side is CA is RNG matchups, so true RPS

t2 attacker loss, SGs will focus on moran/noah but won't have enough time to kill, and defender is only attacking nayuta, so rosanna won't trigger ahead of time
t3 rng
t4 and t5 are basically the same matchups
