I have seen some claiming to be f2p at 541+. And earliest F2P 521+ people were around 2-3 month ago.

So I'm not day one player but just follow what others claimed.

You gain bonus 6 levels if you 50 gems claim everyday for a year. There is also if you break wall fast or waiting for 3+ months.

I have seen people claiming to be 501+ F2P 6+ months ago on Reddit even. Don't underestimate minmaxer.

It also a matter of Material Allocation, when you hit a higher Sync, you gotta prioritize if you need to upgrade certain units and content specific units such as in pvp/pve, this will also hinder your sync upgrade process cuz its hard to manage upgrading multiple units plus the burden it gives that when you need to sync up like for example, 8-10 levels a month, then you upgrade 1 unit to max and you run out of Creds, then you gotta opt for 6-8 levels in a month for that
