It looks pretty so far. If you want to add more stuff, I can suggest putting more magnolia cherry blossoms or some pink flowers to go with the theme. You can also add more lanterns as well if you want to. These are just suggestions though.

DreamSnaps refresh weekly so there's always one going on. If you need to submit more than once to claim the duties you can though, you don't need to wait until the next week unless you want to. If you submit a new DreamSnaps it will override your old entry

It's not random ☺️ you can select who you want to be in your floating island. Go to the map screen, back out from fast travel option and on the left side there's character thingy, where you can select who you want in the island 🙂 selected characters should pop up in your island when you "travel back" to the island and others should disappear.

BUT if characters are assigned time schedule is to be in their own home, to the shop or in the restaurant in that moment, they won't show up.
Not sure anymore if the home time schedule is more random than it have been 🙈

I feel this is one of the best Dreamsnaps I've ever done and it only got 1200 moonstones. 😕
I flooded it with tags too. I know Dreamsnaps are super competitive but I felt very proud of this one until I saw the results.

Hi, does anyone know how close the items have to be for their tags to register?

Honestly not very but i believe it limits at the biome level maybe. I used to build junkyards and im pretty sure it only counted items in the same biome

When making the picture on a floating island I believe it was a distance of 88 squares if I remember correctly. However my memory can be faulty so I suggest making a photo, checking the tags, then adding an item, making a photo again and see if the tag count went up. Then if it did, see how far away you can place it before the tag count drops again.

Items in a different biome can count, but they have to be close enough and counting squares is kinda impossible on the border of biomes as you can't place items there

Tip, you don't have to hide multiple of the same item, because every item only counts once for the tags.
So only one "donut chair" counts and only one "large cooler".

To get her in a position where I could trap with space to kinda decorate was nigh on Impossible- it took over 5 hours just to get her there

I think 7 or 8 game reloads to get on the bridge. { yet I'd got 3 set ups in the teacups area etc

But she's spawn in so many different locations

then she would always face backwards

Some weeks are just like that, unfortunately 😩 Something I've been doing lately that seems to be working well (or maybe is just a fluke, so don't take this as a 100% fact by any means lol) is to include at least one item that fulfills all four "wants" for the week. I started doing that maybe a month ago, and I haven't had a bad week yet. Correlation doesn't always equal causation though, but it's worth a shot. And changing the time in the photo to be around 6 PM (for an outdoor photo at least) seems to be more appealing too. And the fact that the camera settings now have a time changer is AMAZING! In voting the squares are very tiny and lots of people don't enlarge the pictures so lots of those details you added in voting wouldn't be seen. Peoples eyes go to the center of your dreamsnap which in this photo is a balloon and chairs. So honestly just a bit brighter. As long as you love the snap, thats all that matters.

Thanks for the feedback. At the end of the day I always love my dreamsnap submissions. It's just disappointing sometimes when I do so well on some and not on others.

1500 is doing well though. Not every snap entered can be in the top 7.5th percentile group (whats necessary for 4k). Imo it feels a lot like "who's line is it anyways"

With the new filters I turned it to night and I added the fireflies and a pillar that I think comes from eternity isle, after that I adjusted the brightness and contrast to look nice

To me, I find that once I can look at the pic and love everything about it, meaning I don't see anything I want to change, I just go with it. I like the first pose more but your character does blend with background. My eyes get drawn to the colors outside of the blue since 90% of the shot is blue. So I would try either green or orange outfit just like that one to see how it looks. The different color from blue might bring more attention to the center allowing people to see more of snap from central position.

I like how you used the bubbles to look like planets. But it is a very blue snap so if you do have the green or orange version of that outfit I would try it just to see how it looks so we have a contrast of color. But honestly its pretty good as is.
