I've been trying to decide where to set up a garden. Up until recently gardening for money didn't even occur to me 😅 I currently have it around one side of Remy's restaurant and was wondering if that is a good place to try? The restuarant is in the plaza. And I thought about using the other empty side of the land plot for garden too. But since this is plaza land and I am going to need or wish I didn't use that later?

If you add a vacuum in that area you can also collect the leftover pineapples you couldn't reach 🙂 This helped me so much when decorating area's! Now I don't have to cover all the empty tiles 😄

Hey, so when you guys are using paths without borders, what do you use to border them? I'm using a stone path right now but I don't want to use the one with the edge on it because it's in the Forgotten Lands but it just looks really rough without something lining it. I don't want to put a bunch of bushes and ferns all along the edge and I don't want to put the solid small rocks because then I can't leave the path. Kinda stuck on what to do about it.

I don't put an entire border, but I'll sporadically put the stone clusters and ferns. It leaves a more natural look imo while still cutting off that harsh line

Anyone have any idea why Merlin will not sit down for the photo 😂 every single time he finally sits, I pull out the camera, instantly gets up before I can get it. Sat for an hour with camera out waiting for him to sit down and nothing 😂 not once. This is the best I could get. Trapping them all and getting them all to pose at right time was hell 😂

@white crown I have Goofy, Merlin, Beast & Belle, Stitch, plus Buzz and WALL-E in my Peaceful Meadow. Beast's castle is where Merlin originally was, but Goofy is still in his original spot. I built a market area around Goofy's house plus a small area behind it for Merlin and the Well. I wanted to keep WALL-E with his garden (I only moved it over slightly) and built a camping area for him and Buzz. Beast's greenhouse is right by WALL-E's garden.

I don't mind at all! I took inspiration from a lot of shots I've seen here and on Reddit. It's taken me about six months to get where I'm finally satisfied with with my Meadow! Those ponds really stressed me out at first, b/c we can't move them and if it were Animal Crossing I would have ripped them out entirely or moved them/changed their shape. I'm actually struggling with Forest of Valor right now! Took out the trees yesterday and trying to decide what to do next. So far, I've moved Mirabel and Vanellope to get an idea what their houses look like up there and the rest is empty.

I've been thinking I want to move Gaston to the Forest, but I hate that we can't move his stall too. I was also thinking of putting Rapunzel with Mirabel, b/c they have similar hobbies. Eric's house annoys me. I'm not satisfied so far with it anywhere I've tried it at. Vanellope I've settled on the Forest below Jack's side of the Frosted Heights after much indecision (her house is too HUGE and I wish she lived with Ralph instead).

I can relate to this so much, b/c I am so not a beachy person IRL. OMG. I also hate houses on the beach. I just think it looks too cluttered. I didn't overly decorate my Animal Crossing beaches either. They are just beaches with some lounge chairs and towels w/coconut trees.

Any recommendations on the best paths and fences that match aesthetically, with this biome?

Try using the leaf strewn path for the forest, the one with borders, it's pretty if you add some trees in the forest (not only spruces, but also birches, the ones with dark blueish leaves) and some other plants, if you wish, I can send you a pic of my Forest as an example!

Dangit, idk what to do! This spot in the plaza is one of my favorite areas and I never planned to change it, but now we have the new statue! I tried replacing the current fountain, then realized that the statue has benches so this looks kind of silly. I could just remove all the rocks, benches, and misc. items and leave maybe just the lights and trees, but since this isn't a bordered path it won't look as nice. Or I could just path up the entire area and sacrifice the trees...or just find a new area entirely for it, lol. What should I do!?

I turned my Meadow into the theme park but needed to fill some space so I made little character photo/meet and greet spots! Unfortunately you can't sit and use the camera at the same time so I had to take screenshots and nobody is looking at the camera lol. The Gaston one is really a Brave area, but we don't have the Brave characters... yet.

Here is the start of my meadow build so far...put the portal sort of in the middle and of the main path to the beach and then going to spread out some houses (mostly Mickey, Minnie, Goofy) throughout and IDK FILL IN AREAS I GUESS LOL. I might swap out some of those stone lining the corners with different colors to make it less of a solid color. But here is my start! Ideas/suggestions of course are always welcome!

After the park Dreamlight challenge I started redesigning my village again. I created a cute magical garden area with the Fairy Godmother’s house and some of the colourful plants from Eternity Isle. I’ve also turned the small beach island into Ariel’s grotto, which leads to her house.

Sounds good! If you can make medium or large chests, I would go ahead and try to do some of those because you will end up wanting them down the line. You can even make different colors to help remember what's in which chest if you have the materials for it

That's a logical way to categorize things, that will help you keep track of what's where. If you have a decent amount of softwood you can also look for the "Custom Signpost" item at your crafitng bench (under the "Functional Items" tab) and it lets you choose an icon that you could use to label what's in each chest

So i tought i will give a little tutorial how to make 'a parking spot'. Sorry if this is the kinda wrong channel i could have put it here of touch of magic designs.

Start
So you pick a rug and make it black or which color you want.
Lines
You go to shapes and pick the short line/ stripe.
Size
You pick how thick or how big you want your stripes (mine is on the biggest mode).
Placements
If my stripe is showing some pixels i repeat it and put it a lil bit over the previous stripe so the pixels are gone.
Final result
If you are done with every line you can make a second rug to make a finish line/ end of parking spot. Now you can park your vehicles.

I need some advice or inspiration. Havent been playing for long time yet (maybe 3/4 months), but i'm really into decorating. I'm just figuring out what the possibilities are with attractions etc. and I want to make a park. The problem is is that I would like to place it in the meadow, BUT its almost full with other stuff 🥲 So the options are to move everything from the meadow to one of the forests or choose a different spot for the park. Kinda dont wanna move everything, but I could imagine moving everything to the Glade

I also had a few food stand deco pieces do this. Anyone else have this glitch happen? (It did eventually sort itself out, but it was scary when it happened)
