ok, if the raven is so long it is somehow ok, it is in the afternoon but the FOX ( I really hate this fox) is saturday morning

It can be difficult and a little frustrating, yes. But taming wild critters always is! 🙂

I just gave a Raven a 3 star meal hoping to get a gold bar and instead it gave me 3 dark wood. I’ve been feeding the Ravens everyday for a while and this is the first time this has happened! Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes! The critters do tend to also drop forageables sometimes

They generally respawn pretty fast. You could warp to a different area and back or put some furniture down to help if you didn't refind it already

Minimum of 2 feedings, then after that it is random. The feedings have to be on seperate days

Has anyone struggled with obtaining ||gift bags|| from the critters? I used to get them frequently from sea turtles, now all I get are ||cyrstals||

Question guys, how do you pick up an animal like in the ads to take pictures with them???

In camera mode you switch to the full body view (not the selfie) and then you click on the little paw print and it'll bring your companion into the photo to take pictures with!

on pc you hit the letter 'v' I'm not sure on other forms but usually when you go to take a photo theres a pop up on the side that tells you how to switch modes or how to crouch and stuff like that

Can I count a feed to each variant as 1 towards getting each variant as a companion.
Or does my first turtle feed only go towards getting a variant as my companion.
Which would imply I need to feed the variant I want the most first.

Just so I'm crystal clear, does that mean if I feed a black fox once, and then in the same day a white fox once, I've only made progress with the black fox?

And if so,, say I already owned the black fox, would I not be making progress with the white fox unless I fed it first between foxes.

I can make progress on multiple animals a day?..
Or if I feed a black fox first before any animal, no other animal or variant will get progress that day?

Oh noo each animal is separate. My apologies.

You can feed the same animal twice so I was thinking that was your question. So if you fed Black Fox a blueberry by accident first, that is what counted towards the progression towards unlock

Even if you tried to give white sturgeon second, that won't count. Hope that helps

But white fox and black fox fed on same day will work towards progression but only the first item you feed them

So the first item I feed to each animal and variant of animal goes towards making them my companions.
That should make things a little quicker. 🙂

How many times do I have to chase them then? Because honestly 20 minutes later, and I still can’t get them to say approach lol. I almost thought it was like the raccoons and I had to wait till their heads dip down or something.

Nope, it's exactly like bunnies - three chases. You just have to make sure you're quick because if you wait too long to chase them, it resets. Just like the bunnies. 🙂
