Well I think there's a few reasons why we rewatched VHS tapes so much; people forget that back then, they were kind of expensive. A new Disney VHS release could be like £13+ to buy which is around £33 today. And movies that already had their theatrical releases were released on VHS over the 90s, meaning sometimes we had to rewatch stuff while waiting for the next release.

Plus I like being able to display all my favorite movies

I don't have any of the streaming services anymore, I just buy the DVD if its a long series or something, blu ray if its a movie and CD for music (or purchase the album as an MP3 download)

I have 3 streaming services (one is free from my phone provider) but still enjoy the physical media more

But for the older Disney movies or anime I stick to DVD, I like having them look how I remember them rather than 4K because... it looks too crisp lol, I like having those look how I remember them as a preference.
