If you are doing something against the rules, you'll definitely know. That sort of thing isn't left up to the bots, although sometimes Elemental puts a reminder in chat (which means that someone did a boo-boo and a reminder is being dropped). This is just a sticky - it moves itself so it's the most recent post, which helps give a reminder when people are in the chat so the mods don't have to drop the reminder all the time.

Since last update the software keeps crashing on my switch, it says software error. Anyone else has this problem?

I play on switch as well, and for about a week after the update I had random crashes, 1 or 2 a day, but since then, not had one, fingers crossed 🤣 Have found quite often this pattern happens after an update, random crashes which settle down after a short period.

Wanted to add, is DDV stored on your switches internal memory with plenty of free space. Seems to run better on internal memory then on an SD card.

Question, why when I try and place a new storage chest in my house from my inventory, does the contents of that chest replicate what I have in another chest in that house? 🤔

Are you placing the ||vintage storage chest that comes with the house and more can be bought from Scrooges. If so this is shared storage and whenever placed will always have the same items you have placed in it, no matter how ever many you place down. It's handy to place a few around your valley to empty your 'backpack' into it when full, then when back at your storage area, you can empty it into your regular storage that isn't linked storage. For unlinked storage they can be the chests you craft or buy from Scrooges, just not the vintage chest.||

unique/reward companions do not roam the valley by themselves unless you have them placed in a critter home somewhere, they will walk around the area in which the house is placed. the time windows for the companions are for basic companions only

I want my entire plaza to be a downtown but like i want my meadow to be an extension of the down town, gonna remake my glade to a rustic village section i think, the set up i got for the glade now ive moved around tianas house and resteraunt a bit but i wanna remodel it all with the bakery and flower shop houses i think, im not sure what i wanna do with the forest lol maybe i should move tiana to the forest, i need to make my plaza far better than it is atm in its current remodel...i try not to bring dlc characters homes to the valley so the other valleys arent so empty but i may stop thinking about that for the sake of decorating the biomes with dlc houses 🤷‍♂️

Work on fixing tools and upgrading them once biomes unlocked

Id concentrate on the OG base characters & quests

Frozen characters / wallE & remy are very much needed in various ways so definitely those 3. Then moana & maui

Equip critters as you collect them via multiple feeds. They give bonuses per role same as characters give bonuses ||

I can definitely understand that. I am behind on quests and it helps to try to focus on one or two characters at a time so I don't have a dozen open at once. Some Villagers will rely on others for quests too, so going in chronological order of release isn't a bad idea if you want to make sure you don't have obstacles

Yeah but it’s hard because I’m trying to prioritize quests that open up new characters or stalls etc, but at the same time I want no spoilers for new content so I try to not search info. But holy, a lot of the quests gives basically no reward 😂

And having all expansions at once is not helping haha

I played a year or so ago and didn't get far, but while I was on work leave, played about 8 months unlocking things and hoarding things, never really got to the design part, which I'm SUPER excited to do now.

There was just so much lag on switch, and I never felt like I had enough stuff to do what I wanted to do.

I prioritize anything that is limited-time like the Star Path, events, DreamSnaps, etc. And then on quests. I still have a lot of quests to get through so I haven't decorated much aside from some leftover DreamSnaps settings. And at this point it's a little overwhelming to think about haha

That's totally fair - I feel like I'm in the same train of thought.
My time to play now is limited so I have been focusing on events.
One thing I have NOT focused on are the dream snaps, I just figured everyone has so much more than me that I'll never get a decent score or whatever, but I'm still not 100% on how it works because I haven't participated much.

Anyone know how I can reach out to the developers in some way to show a really annoying error I’ve came across with my game? I was harvesting, and my game glitched, and now I have probably 1000 or more lost and found items in my inbox, that make you click them individually. They need to add a claim all or something to that. It’ll be like 3 updates worth of time before I finish clicking these one by one 🤣
