The only one left is ‘near Olaf’s house’ which wasn’t available for me, so I contacted Gameloft and they put the book in my inventory, I then put it in Plaza by accident rather than near Olaf’s house but thought this would be fine, I’ve taken multiple photos in loads of different angels but still won’t let me move on, or complete that part of the task

Where was Olaf's house when you started that quest? Unfortunately it sounds like what they sent you is not going to work, which isnt a surprise since the item is a spawn and not something you craft, and they're not able to respawn an item in your game for you.

Try taking pics of the forest, get as much area in each one as possible and do different areas each time until the quest clicks over, that book has been invisible at times but the camera can see it.

I finished the lvl 4 aladdin quest where you make the carpet and equip it and have to do the "tour" however I dont actually know which button to use to glide and everything says that i should be able to set a button but I dont have that option I just ran the course and it counted I have the yellow energy bar full but I cant actually glide

So question.....my sister's game crashed last week on her Xbox. It reversed her save back to before Storybook update and so she checked her local saves on her steam deck and computer even though she mainly plays via xbox.She has reached out to Gameloft and got a generic we received your ticket but nothing further..... we know this was a known issue and some people have already had responses but she is afraid to touch the game now.

Try closing the game and reopening. If that doesn’t work, there’s a feature on the map where if you hit X and then scroll down the character list to find the forgotten you should be able to press a twice and it should summon them to their house. That’s what I do when I can’t find a villager. I summon them to their house Using that way it doesn’t always work the first time though.

Going in and out of the dark castle will refresh their location in the castle. If they are not wandering the valley, they are in the castle. You may need to go in and out of the dark castle a lot to find them in there, they are good at hiding in there. Also eventually they will come out of the castle, where you can find them easier.

Clothes going invisible on console is a common issue. Make sure you take everything off your character and then only put the dress back on, don't put on a necklace or gloves, if the dress has built in shows and such do not put on socks or shoes.

Yes, the Ursula bundle specifically unlocks her human form, Vanessa, and allows her to be assigned a role.

The other bundles are just cosmetic. Ariel's legs are unlocked through Eric's quests.

Switch, This morning I logged on to check how much moons my dreamsnap got and logged off. I wanted to buy things from the moon shop which is why I got on, when I got on I went to the cloud save. I chose the 25min one because that's really all I spent this morning on it, when I chose that one it started up the beginning cut scene that plays

The time displayed on the save file is the total play time of that save file, not the recent play time. Cloud save is only to be chosen when you are moving from one device to the other, otherwise you always choose local save. If you made a backup save you can recover the data yourself, if you play on a second device you can go to the second device and choose local save and recover that way. Otherwise you have to contact support and see if they have a more recent copy of your save file.

No, the cloud save prompt only happens when the local save and cloud save get out of sync. When the prompt happens and you chose, that's it for that choice. So like this time you made the mistake and chose cloud save when you needed to choose local save. When you chose cloud save, it overwrote your local save. If you have auto sync to the Nintendo cloud turned on, that local save is gone and you cannot recover it, it was replaced with the cloud save you chose. It will not come back unless support has a copy they can send you, in which case, they will send you the save, you will get the prompt, and you will chose the cloud save they uploaded for you

So, what happened was when you got the pop up box to choose between saves, you chose cloud when you should have chose local. If you play regularly on a second platform, go to the second platform and load the game and choose local save to recover if you don't have a backup save

A lot of people are because they aren't reading the pop up in front of them and are just choosing cloud because its the recommended, even though most folks should be choosing local because they don't play on multiple platforms. So they don't look at the time discrepancy. And then...yup, people are getting old saves loaded up and they have to contact support and hope they can recover a more current version. 🙁

I know that. But when cross was ADDED, you were then able to either create an account for your PS5 save or log in to an existing Gameloft account. Entering a Gameloft account that had already been used before replaces your PS5 account with the other one

If you wait the 36hrs after the quest starts before picking any up, they will all have spawned, that's how you can get multiple in some locations.

They aren't ignoring you. You sent that support message late last night. They're not even in the office yet, so it's unreasonable to expect responses during non-business times. You are far from the only one affected, and they are likely being inundated with tickets on the subject, along with the usual influx of tickets they get. Patience is always required. You can keep an eye on the status of said ticket via #ticket-support .

Please know, I'm not saying you shouldn't uninstall if that's what you want to do. I just don't want you to do something rash being you are impatient and have bad expectations from support. If you want them to restore your save, you have to give them time to do so.

As a future tip, when questing, try to make sure you keep a little empty space for this reason. It's not uncommon to receive items and it's very easy to end up with full inventories with so much to gather!

• put the gumbos in realm storage (mickeys secret room and wall-e's fridges are easiest)
• untrack the quest
• exit the game and reboot
• track the quest
• retrieve the gumbo

Nothings silly if you don't know the answer. Affraid wearing a backpack is just cosmetic. you get more storage by unlocking extra lines of storage by buying them with starcoins? (I think, been awhile since I did this) by interacting with your backpack, IIRC. Having two minimum level 3 critter companions equiped will also give you two extra lines of personal storage.

It depends on what you mean by best option. There are technically better handhelds, but they also come with a far heftier price tag. If you are only wanting it primarily for Steam games, then in my personal opinion Steam Deck is the best option. While other handhelds have increased their prices, Valve actually lowered the price of the Steam Deck. It's the most affordable, and is also reliable and made specifically for the Steam gaming experience.

I have both, a 1st gen Steam Deck and Legion Go, use both docked most of the time, The Go is a full W11 PC so it can do everything and the controllers come off so it can be a thick tablet, for actual portable use I prefer the deck, it's just the right size with well laid out controls, runs DDV nicely and just works really well.

Quite a few characters dont dine. These likely dont because they're emotions. Other characters that dont eat include: ariel (legs are unlocked later and not required), ursula (legs cost money), woody and buzz (toys), eve and wall-e (robots) and mushu (spirit guardian)

If "Moonstones can only be used on the same platform where they were purchased" how come my PC's game just went from 14.4K to 12K in the 20 minutes I spent playing on my switch buying some stuff in the premium shop? You can uninstall the game and remove the data, but your game will still be attached to that switch user account. So you can't start a new game on it in the future, and you also can't move your PC save to a different switch profile in the future without first having support unlink the user ID from the platform profile.

Take a breath, friend! This is happening to a lot of folks right now but there's a couple of ways you might be able to get it back.

Since you are using cloud save always, I assume you have multiple platforms you play on or else you would be using the more reliable local save.

If that is the case, and if you have played that one recently enough you'd be willing to use that save to rescue your lost save, go to it, choose "local" and pull up that save. Save to cloud. Go back to the other and this time you should be able to use cloud to pull that save over.

!support If you don't have a second platform, contact support. Let them know what happened. There is no guarantee, but they've been able to retrieve people's cloud saves and get it back to them.

I use cloud save cause I use to play on switch. Then suited to ps5. Amd I always saved through cloud as I didnt know if local save would delete the game. I have contacted gamesoft. I hope they can fix it cause I was trying to show my younger siblings. To try convince them that they should get the game.

If you are only playing on one platform now always use local. It's far, far more reliable. Cloud save is only useful for moving data between platforms

This is the first time in 3 years we've seen cloud save issues on this scale. Every so often someone will choose cloud instead of local and overwrite their save, but this is different because it has to do with GL themselves.

If you have PSN, you can also maintain a backup save so that if something happens, you can revert back yourself. Instructions here: #1295498853642010705

Okay here's the full story of what happen i been playing dlv for a while with both dlc...and yesterday when I log in I let it go playing the intro cause I had went somewhere to do something then I pressed any button to go to main title to go in when I return then it asked which cloud I want to go in it's odd it never asked so I randomly picked one when I went in...it wasn't where I last played it seems like it's back to the the start I looked in characters only the main characters are unlock I'm have unlocked joy and sad almost on level 10 with them ...and my biomes all unlocked but when I looked on map my forgotten and sunlit biome is not unlocked but I played very far in the game already idk what to do...I built my house already too

Bought a steam deck to play on there from switch. Cloud save and everything was good. Here’s the issue: loading cloud save on steam wouldn’t do anything. I couldn’t continue a game, just given the option of new game. And I pressed it. 🫠 creating a new player id and now I can’t get my switch cloud save to go on there and continue my “old” game. Does anyone know if this is fixable?

If you have a backup save you can recover the progress yourself. If you don't have a backup you can contact support and they can recover your most recent save file if they have it. In future make sure when you get the prompt you choose the correct save file with the most time played.

The star paths haven't changed from being time-locked, so I'm not quite sure what you mean there. All events only run for a certain amount of time, and must be completed during that time for the most part.

@stiff vine Star paths have changed , they don’t make you have to take two or three days to complete a duty anymore. They also added the new weekly duties in Star path for bonuses which accumulate each week if you don’t complete them that week you can wait until the last week to do them all if you want. If you want to check your ticket status, you can do so at any time via #ticket-support . It's going to take a little time for them to get back to you just because they are inevitably swamped due to this cloud save business. But keeping an eye can help ease anxiety sometimes, and if it's been more than 7 days when you check, it will escalate it internally for you (but it shouldn't take that long, honestly)

Yup, GL put out some things on their socials about it. They have something going on with the cloud save server, and people keep choosing the wrong option when they get the conflict box. So support has been working hard to restore people's cloud saves when they let them know they were affected.

You dont have to just do their role. You just get extra points per mining node cleared because its their role. The quickest is usually gardening, esp if you use wheat, since they receive xp from planting, watering, and harvesting.

If that's what you did, there's nothing you can do. If you placed on the river kit on an island that does have a native water feature you can fix it by moving the boat to the native water first, then to the valley.

No, that is a different issue. When you open the furniture category that has the red dot, it automatically jumps to the new item. If it does not jump to the new item, it's because you only have one of the item and it's placed and you need to pick it up. This is most often caused by unique quest items placed during completion of a quest and then not picked back up. Once you pick the item up, the dot will clear. Examples of such items would be Gaston's weight bench, the dreamlight day banner for Jack, the library bell, etc etc

You either have them placed or didn't do the quest yet. Maybe you used them for a snap and forgot. Maybe they're on an island

If you have everything done, then you placed them somewhere. Check every single map you have. All DLC areas, all islands.

I'm trying to activate Alice's level 10 quest, but Merlin's letter isn't popping up. I've completed all necessary steps except the hidden requirement and have tried restarting my game. It's been over an hour and nothing. Am I missing something else?
