Simba has a locked quest but it just says keep playing for the quest

Thanks, though I must not have explained correctly . His level ten friendship quest is the one where you get the three other dream fruit trees, which I completed. Now, the quest that unlocks the other two characters is locked, saying keep playing to unlock. All of his FRIENDSHIP quests are complete. Nala is also at level ten with her ten quest the one with here and there fish is complete. I am asking what else I need to do to unlock this additional quest.

I just went through quite a few of items and nothing has changed. I went into my furniture mode placed a bunch of items, went out of furniture mode, went back in and picked them up off the ground and nothing has changed.

Its referring to items that are placed during a quest that dont disappear afterwards. Ie: the statues you make of hades for one of his quests, the raven stand you make for maleficent, the snippet repellant you craft for Flynn, etc.

haven't done the maleficent one yet but the other two i've done. I can't remember any other quests i've done recently that I wouldn't have picked up the furniture for. I usually pick them up after i'm done.

Is there a way to ACTUALLY use the treasure map the right way to find the music notes for Peter? I was able to get the one in Ursula's cave but the Glade of trust 'X' is really stumping me. I feel like Hook made this map and just made one 'X' real just to drive us crazy. I thought maybe it was just what biome they were in since it wasn't where the X is on the map exactly but still nothing.

In your settings, under Graphics (in game) change your display mode to full screen no borders, if it isn't already. Switch your VSync to the opposite of what you have it at the moment.

See if that helps first.

Exit the game and go to your Steam Library, right click DDLV and click Properties > Installed Files > and Verify the integrity of the game files.
See if that helps.

Additional things to try:

If you have any gaming hubs (even if you don't actively use them) like OMEN or GeForce, make sure they are updated and turn off any overlays/in-game options.

You can also try capping frame right by these instructions: Right click DDV in the game library > Click Properties > Under General > Launch Options > In the text box type fps_max <#> for example if you want it to cap at 75fps, type fps_max <75>.

If these fail, you might need to perform a clean install (not losing any progress, just doing a full clean re-install of the game) which I can send steps for if the other things don't work.

Long, long, long, long ago in the very early days, there was a bug that allowed crafted items to be purchased. They fixed that very quickly. You can buy chests from him, but not crafted ones. He has some for sale from time to time that you can purchase, and purchase more of.

Okay, as Effie said I don't see Oswald's picture at all, and you need him unlocked to do the 3d objects. As for Tiana, you need Remy to level 10 and all his quests complete, but you also need to complete that scrooge quest for decorating the glade and possibly chaos in the kitchen. You have waaaaaay too many active quests, so best advice is to do the current active friendship quests to clear them all out, do the two bundle quests for Ursula and Walle because they interfere with a LOT, then focus on your story quests and leveling only one character at a time so you don't get so many quests at once.

We aren't allowed to discuss this in the server as it's against the rules and against the game's ToS and a banable offense, but if you are using any mods for the game make sure you disable them completely. If using a modded switch, that might be an issue. If you also have the game on Xbox, check there instead, and see if your mail will load. Make sure you sync to the cloud before switching devices.

Well, if you buy moonstones on Switch, you won't receive those on Xbox. But DreamSnaps rewards can be accessed on both. But the issue is that you are not receiving mail, so the likely issue is with your network, not the game specifically.

I bought moonstones on my Xbox as well and the same thing happened after about 4 days they finally gave me my moonstones that I bought but I didn't know that I would have the same issue on my switch because I know that those purchases are separate and now with the mail and the dreamsnaps

Have you attempted connecting either of them to a mobile hotspot to see if that resolves the issue (if you have that as an option)

It may be something in your router security settings or anything. There's a million issues that can plague a network. One thing you can try is port forwarding for your Switch to see if that allows the communication with the Gameloft servers that is necessary to receive mail.

I have a question on a sensitive subject, I am not trying to talk about the subject that isn’t allowed, but I have no other way to ask. I did multiplayer a time ago that the person turned it into a maze and you could find fun items hidden throughout like pumpkins, gems, and training manuals. I’ve been afraid to turn multiplayer back on after they started banning people, do you get a warning if you visited someone who was banned? Or should I continue to not use multiplayer?

Multiplayer is fine, as long as you aren't breaking the ToS. I would stick to visiting people that you know and trust.

No, it won't activate anything. But if you have any of those items leftover you took from that suspicious visit, and if you give those items to someone else and they are indeed modded items, it can trigger a warning/ban.

The Forgotten usually disappears into the dark castle and they are really good at hiding inside it, I go in and out of the dark castle, looking around caarefully each time I enter and eventually they show up in that entry area it can take a dozen or more tries.

I purchased Disney dream light valley the enchanted edition on my switch, unfortunately because I hadn’t used my switch for a little while, the date and time was outdated which I didn’t realise and didn’t know it would be an issue until I loaded up for the first time today after also purchasing today. I closed the game, set the correct date and time and reset my game to ensure I didn’t get the bug that prevented items from spawning. I was completely unaware that resetting the profile would completely remove everything including moonstones since there is no warning (which you think there would be considering it literally only mentions items and not currency or cosmetics or paid items). Is there any way I can retrieve the items from the enchanted edition bundle and the moonstones that were lost. I didn’t even get to use them or play the game prior. Is my best bet just contact support or is there a way to retrieve the items?

Those items are account bound and will still be there as long as you are using the same Gameloft account. You just need to get through the dream castle first.

Yes, but have you followed your quests through the dream castle until it says your time has synced to real time? Because if you haven't, then your moonstones and other account bound items will not be there.

Because there is a bug where it basically stops tracking and gets out of sync. So it looks like you have more than you actually do. You can relay charge game and see how much you actually have.

It is suggested that you either save and relaunch every so often to keep it synced up or you just make sure you have a LOT more than you need

Hi yes hello... I hope this is the right channel, but I'm in tears. & I need help. I spent 3 hours yesterday morning grinding for Dreamlight (30,281) so I could unlock both Riley's door next week & also my Forgotten Lands floating island. I went to unlock the island after I finally got all that Dreamlight & it wouldn't purchase. I exited out & loaded back in & EVERYTHING I WORKED FOR IS GONE. It's like it never registered any of the Dreamlight I earned, I'm right back to where I started. I even managed to complete the cooking section in the future, but the Dreamlight just isn't there. I don't know what to do, it's not like I can bring back those lifetime goals & do them again. Please help??

Unfortunately there's not much that can be done. You can try reaching out to gameloft to see if they'll help but I've not heard of them replacing dreamlight. There's some type of issue going on causing the game to stop syncing at a certain point. The only thing we recommend going forward is to both save and reload more often to avoid sync issues

Changing 2 settings really helped me when I started, in Graphics set "Disable Camera Shakes" to on, then in Controls slide the Camera sensitivity for controller to the left to slow the camera down, Sir Mandini will have other tips but hope those help.

Hey, just bought the enchanted edition yesterday, and it shows I have zero moonstones. I purchased through Steam, which says I would get 18,000 moonstones. Does anyone know how I get them?

Also disable flashes, and play with a controller. It takes some practice, but with a controller it's easier to combat the auto camera by always keeping slight pressure on the right analog that controls the camera, very gently pressing it in the opposite direction the camera naturally tries to spin when you are moving. This counters that camera movement, which over time becomes predictable and second nature. Also only eat meals for doing more stationary tasks like fishing and gardening, keeping your stam bar blue when moving around the valley lets you move slower. Get used to pulling up the fast travel menu in the map and using it as often as possible instead of running places, and you can further help by arranging your wells and necessary items close together to limit movement. For example I have the stalls and all flowers for the area next to each well, so I can fast travel and immediately get the stuff I need from the stall and check to see if flowers are dry without having to run all over to do that. When you do have to run around, keeping the bar blue and using the auto camera counter technique helps the most, as well as trying to either unfocus completely while moving, or focus intently on one specific spot of the screen, whichever method helps you the most.

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the “quick access” your referencing was just the older version of disabling Touch of Magic when we had less settings. Now that we have the more complex camera settings it is not displayed that way anymore

If Steam allows you to purchase multiple copies, yes. From what I recall, Steam will give a pop-up advising that you won't get a second license for the base game from your purchase, meaning you won't own 2 copies of it. Yes you will get the cosmetics as long as you purchase it on the steam account hooked to the game you want it to go to.

You have the chance to get dried flowers in a biome on one of the maps you own at 5am daily. You have to beat the rain in your game to them.

It is very frustrating to deal with for sure. The dried flowers that show up will be only be a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 in a specific biome every morning at 5 am reset, if it does not rain. No matter how many you put down will not increase the odds or amount unfortunately.

When you can't find them they are usually in the dark castle and can be hard to find in there. Also check for them on every DLC map you own. If you still can't find them after search all maps and the dark castle specifically several times, you just have to wait until you find them again.

Make sure you don't have a critter companion equipped, untrack the quest, save and fully exit the game, relaunch and walk into the castle, then into the realm door before retracking the quest, hopefully that will get it working.

Shrimp come from blue bubbles, but they are RNG, but kingfish are only available at night. Try fishing during the day, it's a little easier to get shrimp then.

If you have too many characters on your map, turn some of them off - gray them out. Makes it easier to find who you are looking for, and it's easy to undo when you need them again.

You aren't stuck. You just have to work through your quests. When you get blocked by something, do what you need to to resolve it. You're not stuck on Ursula, you need to level her and keep doing her quests. You're not stuck on Forgotten Relics, you just haven't done what you need to. This game almost literally walks you through what to do, as long as you read the quests or read what is blocking you.

In the meantime, the wiki and Let's Play videos are great resources to assist

I found where it’s supposed to be online but nothing shows up there for me. So I’m not sure if it might be somewhere different now.

There might be an issue with Safari. I’ve had errors occur before. You can switch to a private window and see if it will open in that. If it still doesn’t, I would turn your phone on and off to see if it makes a difference.

As an account can only own one copy of the game and each DLC on a given platform they usually will not let you purchase a second copy or a bundle containing items already owned, I've noticed that both Xbox and Steam appear to allow purchase of the Enchanted edition even by my accounts that already own it - not sure why but I do know that Gameloft will only allow credit once per platform for the base game and each DLC on each User/game ID, that includes items and moonstones.

There has been an issue with several characters missing in the realms.

First, if you have a pet equipped unequip it and go out of the realm and then back in.

If that doesn't work proceed to the steps below but please make sure not to skip anything and do the steps exactly.

1. Untrack the quest so it isn't showing on screen.

2. Save the game and fully close the game.

3. Launch the game again and enter the game.

4. Open your quest log and track the quest again by clicking on it, so that it shows again on the top corner of the screen.

5. Go back to the realm through the dream castle (not fast travel) and search again.

Only if you made a backup save before you chose to start over and recover that. Otherwise you have to wait for them to be in the shop. The founders statue is available through scrooge shop, so you don't keep it upon a fresh start.

When you say "that data" do you mean your save specifically? Does she have her own nintendo account/player profile on your switch?

If her save file is connected to your nintendo account, its going to be easiest for her to play it on your nintendo account anyways. The problem will become the copy of the game - you can add your nintendo account to her switch. That will give her both the save and access to the game. However, she will only be able to play when connected to wifi.

There is not a way to transfer license/ownership of the game from one account to another for digital games.

To have the game on both devices at the same time will require another copy of the game so it would be easiest for her to attach a free Nintendo account to her profile on your Switch then use that profile to sign in on the new Switch as the main profile, she would then purchase DDV with that profile and her data should transfer, you could use a Nintendo gift card to give her the purchase price of DDV.

You could but you basically need access to both consoles and they need to use Bluetooth to transfer the virtual game card between them, your account would also need to be on her Switch, you can't transfer actual ownership of the game from one account to another.

Yes, once a Nintendo account has been linked to her profile, her game data will transfer through the Nintendo cloud to the new Switch, Nintendo online is not needed but I suggest also setting up a Gameloft cloud save account in her game on the first Switch to start as a backup transfer method, I have not done this since the Switch 2 firmware updates and things could have changed.

yeah it's just a different type of shaking that i was trying to avoid, like an earthquake. this instability is how the camera zooms as you rotate and sometimes makes the character invisible or you can't get a good angle to see what you need to see.

the camera instability doesn't just affect the mine, but it is a lot worse in tight spaces. turning the camera sensitivity down does help, but then moving is harder (i tend to hold W and change direction with the mouse)

Can someone help me to make more sense of how moonstones on two different consoles works?

I know the game always says “moonstones can only be used on the console they are purchased on” which makes complete sense.

What doesn’t make sense is that on my MacBook it said I had 16.2k moonstones, but on my switch it said 5,750 moonstones.
I assumed since you can only spend moonstones on the console they were purchased these are two completely separate balances.
However after spending 3k of the moonstones on my switch, my MacBook moonstones also went down by 3k.

Nothing makes sense now.

Purchased moonstones can only be used on the purchasing platform but earned moonstones, from blue chests, star path rewards and so forth, transfer back and forth, it sounds like your Switch moonstones were all earned, purchased ones are always spent first if there are any avaiable on the the spending platform.

No, You setup the Gameloft cloud save account on the Switch first and make sure it shows the email on the "Cloud Save" screen from the games main menu, then you use the same email and password on the same screen on the PS.

Have you also been checking your chests (including realm and DLC storage even if you never wuold have used it) for Emerald Slivers? You might have accidentally turned it into the sliver if you found an emerald bottle early on, before knowing about the quest-relation. This is common issue/solution.

Yes it's happening to everyone and has been for a while. It is suggested that you save and quit often, because when you quit, the game syncs back up with itself. Either that, or make sure you have waaaaaaaaay more than you need so you can still unlock your places.

Watering flowers refers to dried flowers. Dried flowers can spawn in 1 biome per day at 5am. You have to beat the rain (including offline rain) to get them.

It's every platform, yes. And pretty much everyone is getting hit with this. The game is basically not syncing with itself internally, so it looks like you have more Dreamlight than you do. It seems to only be affecting that kind of currency - Dreamlight, mist, storybook magic.

you still need to be near the item or them for them to do any of it. they won't go far.

Just make a secondary account/gamertag on Xbox, as long as they play on the home console of the gamertag that purchased the game, the main game and all DLC's will be shared to them, I have multiple alt accounts on mine.

the only thing i could possibly wonder is that i was able to download the Storybook Vale expansion for free somehow a few months ago, think i went on the storepage and was just able to hit Install maybe> idk i forget its been a while but ive been able to play w the expansion and do quests and everything up until today for some reason. idk whats wrong with the startup on my game aahh

Never has for me, it finds them and lists them normally but your mileage may vary as Xbox warns some games may require reinstallation after reinstalling the app.

The expansion is part of the game files you're going to be reinstalling. Sometimes xbox pc likes to act up about it and you have to go to the specific expansion page and "redownload it" (aka click a button)

I've found that it's helpful to start by making them a Microsoft account on a PC, easy way to get a new email to use for the cloud save account and simple to add a gamertag to on the console but you could do it solely on the console a few months ago without a Microsoft account, do need an email address for them verify and it can't be associated with any other gamertag.

If you planted it, it won't be in the chests, inventory, or critter inventory. It will be wherever you planted it, so you'll have to run around and look for it. It doesn't show up like a regular crop or anything.

Check what time your game thinks it is by looking at the clock in Mickey's house, the white squirrel is usually pretty easy to find when it is out.

It may. The squirrels (and all other critters) can get stuck in decor. They have also been known to wander up/down the ramps to nearby biomes, so make sure you check those as well. All else fails, fast travel to another map you own (incl floating islands) and come back, which should reset where it spawns
