Does anyone know why the gardening trick where you gate up your gardening helper until the end, doesnt work for me? If I gate them into an area and farm a bunch of vegetables, once I free them they only spawn in like 30 harvestables, rather than HUNDREDS like they would if they just followed me around?

Not true for some of us: there are never more than four across all realms and they don't spawn every 5 minutes. Some people aren't getting any.

Seems to be a new thing that happened with the realm - we all have it. As for the eggs, they are across a handful of realms but that doesn't mean they're in every realm every time.

Question- Do the purple eggs de-spawn after a certain amount of time if not collected?
Lets say I can only find 8/10 eggs, will I always only have 8 eggs respawning after collection until I find the other 2 eggs?

I have only been able to find 7-8 eggs each time throughout the realms and I am worried that as time goes on I will not be able to find the purple eggs since they are the ones I keep missing when looking. Will they respawn elsewhere if not collected

From what I understand the ones you haven't collected will stay wherever they are hiding until you collect them.

They can come back in the premium shop but that would be months away (probably closer to over year) and cost more moonstones then purchasing the star path now.

Make sure to check in hidden items. If it isn't there, it may have been placed somewhere randomly, so you have to carefully search each biome looking for it.

Yes, you will be able to play the switch version of DDV on Switch 2, but that will most likely still have the switch item limit, like the PS4 version still has the item limit when played on PS5

I have what appears to be a bug going on with the quest Book Hunt, I have three out of four books, I'm missing the book you get from Goofy but when I go to Goofy he doesn't have anything that says Book Hunt but when I speak to Belle my character says "Goofy was the only one that still had his." but the quest itself hasn't check marked the book off like it did the other three, the book isn't in my inventory and it's not in my storage either cause I checked all storage that I use, I tried closing and reopening the game but that didn't work, so I'm just at a complete loss on what to do.

Anything afk would be a mod and those are against the game's ToS. The only real "memory farming" tip i have is digging with a dig elixir for digging memories. Outside of that there isnt anything that influences memory drops

Spam cooking doesnt always guarantee memories. Im glad it worked out for you this time. I just didnt want you to get your hopes up that it'll always work.

Ive cooked 2500 dishes and gotten 30+ orbs. Ive cooked 2500 dishes and gotten 4. There's no real rhyme or reason to it.

You don't need to scroll! It always puts it at the top. I found that opening my collections tab, closing, and reopening it will put it at the top of the collection that has the new item.

You've checked every single storage item you have, and there are no more aliens. Specifically request that they send you two for this specific quest, and then cross your fingers.

I don't see the quest telling you to actually make, just to learn the recipe. Unfortunately if the quest got stuck on that step or regressed to that step when you already ready the recipe, the only thing you can do to fix it is recover your backup save and do the quest again from the beginning

You can try untracking the quest, reloading the game, going to the mine, then tracking the quest and seeing if it progresses.

Did you clean up all your clovers after the clover event ended? If not, the items dont despawn. They live forever until they're picked up.

They dont have signs because its bugged. Likely wont see a fix until next update at the absolute earliest. Next update has not been announced so no confirmed date.

Correct. There is no way anyone can help you with that. You just cleared Olaf's quest earlier today, if I recall correctly, and now you must just practice patience and wait for rain. It might take several days, it might be in the next 5 minutes. Weather is completely random, there is no predicting.

Unlinking can cause you to lose your save and even your entire account.

No, unlinking from switch let you log in on Xbox because it attached a new game from Xbox to your Gameloft account. You can only move a save to a profile that has never created a player ID.

If you haven't yet, you need to unlink now on Xbox, and then open the game on switch and if prompted choose keep local save. Then make sure you attach that save back to your Gameloft account. On Xbox, to move your switch save over, you need to make a brand new player profile on Xbox or contact support and ask them to remove the game save and ID tied to the Xbox account you were trying to use.

Untrack the quest, reload the game, then go in his house, track the quest, and then come back out. If that doesn't work, ask him to hang out with you and take him to Casita. If that doesn't work, comb through all your quests looking for walle's name in any quest you have then do those quests and try again

Since you are behind, you can more or less safely change your device time to current. It's when you go into the future that it breaks every time. Back is still not great, but it's less bad than forwards.

People are getting banned for using hacks/mods to generate items, hosting treasure valleys with those items, and sometimes people receiving said items were getting caught up too. Just go to visit people you trust and don't break the ToS, you should be fine

Hello, I’m currently having trouble with the last dream snap rewards. I made a submission, it says I have one and I can view it. However, it also shows on the rewards screen I don’t have anything submitted. Has that happened to anyone? Is it fixable?

Save the game, then sync to the cloud, then fully exit the game, then launch the game, then enter the game, as soon as game loads save the game and sync to the cloud, then check mail.

If this fails, try again but return to title screen instead of fully exiting.

If that fails, try a modem/router reboot.

If that fails, try a mobile hotspot.

If that fails, take a screenshot of the rewards page, and another one showing your submission when you click show submission, then wait until Wednesday. On Wednesday after reset, do all the above steps again, if you still don't receive rewards, submit the screenshots in a ticket to support. You must wait until the reward period is over to contact support.

If you want to use the same save on both, the email you use for the platform does not matter, you use the email for the Gameloft account in both games by following those instructions, and yes, the Xbox gamertag needs to be one that has never played DDV before, you setup the cloud save the first time you open the game on a second platform.

Hi, I’m playing arcade mode and I’m having trouble with a piece of furniture. I got a laptop computer, but when I try to place it, I can only put it on the floor? That doesn’t make sense to me. I have tried to put it on a side table, a bedside table, a bed, and a cabinet (pretty much all the furniture I have that it would be logical to place a laptop in real life). Am I missing something? Can it only be placed on top of certain items? I can’t imagine that there’s no way to put an item on top of another item, because why would there be place settings and small lamps meant to go on a table if you can’t put them there?

UPDATE: Not long after I posted this. I remembered several days ago I put the amulet into a storage chest temporarily and had forgotten because it had been several days. I found the amulet! I then followed the recommended steps on the old post I found while searching. I put BOTH the amulet and the gemstones into the Wall-e realm's fridge, saved and restarted game. It worked! Long story short, I no longer need help. Yay!

True but you can store them. If you've left the realm during that quest make sure you check all the storage you have placed, as well as storage in any other realms you've been in

Support tickets should get you an automated response almost immediately with a ticket ID, but an actual response can take a week or more on average (but support is basically customer care, not the devs, and they don't work nights or weekends). You can go to #ticket-support and follow the instructions to check on the status of your ticket.

The purple eggs quest is very frustrating. I am only getting 5 or 6 each day despite searching every inch of each of the 5 realms each day multiple times. (Lion King, Moana, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan and Toy Story). If there an issues with this quest? I was just on Facebook and there are a lot of really upset players because a lot are only getting 1 or 2 a day and some are not getting any.

You will need to purchase at least the base game on Steam and will want to make sure the Gameloft cloud save is setup properly on your Switch before opening the game on the deck (or Steam on PC), these instructions will get you going, you will also need to purchase the DLC if you want to travel to either DLC on the deck - characters and items will transfer.

The only piece that doenst necessarily work that way is the accessory bar, which will swap to furniture before you buy all of it.
