You could still get him to level 6 but you would have been stuck in story quests. You have to complete that quest to progress. I recommend keeping and maintaining a backup save, especially as you progress through the game it gets more important. With a backup save when you encounter a glitch you can roll back the save and try the quest again instead of having to start the whole game over. #1047579586361311233 has a guide on how.

You can level up characters independent of quest completion so you could have Scrooge at level 10 without completing any of his quests, your sign may have bounced into a biome you have not opened yet, the forest or Sunlit most likely, if you want to start over, use the "reset profile" option from the main menu/settings/General.

Do you guys recommend the remy portal first? Should I buy all items from Scrooge shop or as I want/ need them.

I do recommend the Remy portal first. As for scrooge shop priority, furniture is more important than clothes, because the clothes are guaranteed to repeat until you buy them all, but furniture is extremely random and you never know how long it will be before you see a particular furniture item again.

It doesn't work on ToM clothing, and thus, if your boutique has outfits in the windows it counts as ToM even if the boutique cannot be physically seen in the photo. The options to correct that so you can submit are to either move the boutique out of your camera view, move your dreamsnap area to a different place, take the photo from another angle, or remove the ToM outfits from the windows by removing them from the front 2 display mannequins.

Walk up to the mannequin in question, interact, select "put on outfit", select the outfit twice (once to highlight, once to remove highlight) and save. It'll restore the default tshirt and jeans

Untrack the quest, put the gears in storage and relaunch, empty your pack before retracking the quest and putting just the gears back in it, hopefully it will count correctly this time.

These items you dropped, you dropped them in the secret room? I'm a bit confused on exactly what your issue is, if you can clarify exactly what you dropped and where.

Try dropping a house on them if they are outside, usually forces reluctant items back into inventory.

Do you now have room in your inventory? You won't be able to pick them up unless you have empty spaces. If you do have room in your bag, try reloading the game by saving and exiting the game completely then opening the game again and going back to the room and try again to pick them up.

Yes, those are Olaf's books. Are you sure you dropped the recipes? Generally when you click a recipe in your inventory you learn it. But to shrink the room go to the elevator.

So you aren't actually in your house, you're in a secondary house? That's different and you can't change room sizes in a secondary house. So the books are going to be there until the bug is fixed.

As for what they gave you - if you are on the Mickey quest to find the secret room the thing he gives you turns into a memory. You can see it in your memories page in collections. It looks like a door with gems in it.

That's the clue in how to open the door

If the quest you are on for Remy involves his recipe books, what he gave you was a memory showing the three locations of the books, also in the collection memory tab.

Sometimes when the game glitches when the signs are being placed, a sign can be kicked to a random spot on the map, sometimes even a biome not unlocked yet. But also make sure you are carefully looking through the crafting list, because the recipe doesn't appear at the top after looking at it the first time, it will be mixed in the list. If you don't have the recipe in the list, and you can't find the sign in the world, the only fix has been to start the game over by resetting profile on the title screen settings and losing all progress back to the beginning.

Shinies are not as common, no. They can sometimes be hard to find. Take a buddy with you and if you have access to it, use a mining potion. They don't increase your chances, but if you get one you'll get more than one. 🙂 Also make sure your energy bar stays yellow as that does increase luck a little

Gems you can use the duplicate feature on. Set one down, hover over it with the cursor, and press the appropriate button to duplicate.

Note: it doesnt actually dup the item - it takes more from your inventory. But that prevents you having to manually split.

It cant mix in with softwood because its a quest item. Its much more likely that it got inadvertently stored somewhere, like one of the tents you got the training outfit from. Check all the realm storage. If you've left the realm since starting the quest or picking up firewood, check ALL storage.

For the second, is your switch set to "sync to internet"? If it is, check in the in-game settings under "graphics" and make sure you dont have the offset slider set.

You have to purchase multiple doors from Scrooge, check in settings/graphics at the very bottom is a daylight slider, make sure it's centered.

DDV does not save through Steam so you need to setup a Gameloft cloud save account on your deck to start with, this guide should get you going but if you have problems just ask;

Got it ok. I have a cloud save account I made a year ago when I started playing on Steam Deck. So it sounds like when I boot up the game on Pc, I will need to log into that cloud save/gameloft account.

Putting lights in thr back of the waterfall is clipping it also only works w a 1x1 light meaning the light can only take up 1 square the waterfall can hold 6 1x1 lights. (Or anything that's 1x1 up to 1x6 it doesn't have to be lights)

Also the waterfalls clip into each other on the edge staggered like but only the edge of the waterfall will fit together.

Fully close the game (meaning force close on the ipad - dont just go back to your home screen), restart your ipad, then relaunch the game, go back into the menu and track the you have mail quest. Then go talk to daisy.

Using your hourglass on the swirling sand around the docks, it usually ends up between Goofy's cart and the tent and crates next to it and might require furniture mode to move some stuff out of the way to find it.

sounds like you're running to close to them and they're running out of space to run. The monkeys are difficult anyways but the foxes don't normally do this. You have to stay close enough that they know you're chasing them but not so close that they run too far.

A tip for them: dont chase them. Stand perfectly still while they move. They only run about 3-5 paces away from the avatar. Wont fully stop the glitching but it has helped me.

Honestly the reason most people recommend it is because in the past (before full launch), there were updates that caused severe game-breaking issues. The last couple of updates have been relatively safe in comparison. Its truly just another method of ensuring your gaming progress is saved without allowing it to be overwritten by logging in.

The game itself is buggy honestly. The update patch notes provide a list of fixes made to quests as well as quality of life updates. Im personally not avoiding an update over it - i wouldnt avoid playing on your phone either as there's not an issue with that that im aware of.

Again, the back-up save is by and large just a secondary back-up for just in case. Its not necessary or required.

You have to be on eternity isle in order for them to show up. It's showing dreamlight at the top, so you're in the main valley, correct?
