Only if you already have the game synced on another platform or have made a backup save, resetting the profile also clears the cloud save.

It's impossible to reset profile accidentally, you have to hold the confirm button down for like five seconds

The cloud save is what is attached to your Gameloft account. But resetting profile also resets cloud save. If you play on a second device, you can load the local save on the second device, then upload it to cloud. Or, if you made a backup save, you can recover that instead.

Saving game before reset doesn't matter. Reset wipes all save data, except for your backup save, which everyone should have in case of bad things happening. #1047579586361311233 has a guide on how to make one. Now, your only options are to start over or to contact support and see if they have a backup on the server.

That's not how the chests work at all. They only spawn if you log in to the game. If you don't log in to the game at all they don't spawn at all

Yes, so if you have the DLC, they can spawn in the Docks area of Eternity Isle even if you have not traveled there yet.

I know almost nothing about epic games. If they have a verify files like steam does you can try that, otherwise might try uninstall/reinstall of the game. If that doesn't work might have to do a clean install.

Hi guys! I've been looking online and on this server but so far I haven't found a definite answer to my question. I play on Steam. I have my main save that I've been using since day one that is linked to the cloud. Thing is, I also have another save linked to another email account that isn't as far along (both saves are mine and on the same Steam account) that I haven't logged into in a while (before the game got out of early access). It used to be I could switch between each save simply by logging in and out, but now it says "unlink" instead of "log out". So my question is : can I safely log out of my main save to play my other save and switch back without losing any progress ? (i have a backup of my main save in another folder)

My Meadow has become a toontown for the mickey and friends character as well as my main player house. My Plaza is a hot wreck now because of the upcoming update. I have lion king in the Sunlit. Mirabel and mirabel in the wild Tangle. Wall-e in the dunes. Eve in ancient landing. Ursula in the Glade with the regular haunted mansion. My Frosted highets half frozen and have christmas village with vanelope and the christmas haunted mansion. My forest is broken into a beast and bell village with gaston the purple cottage merlin and lady Tremaines house. And the other half is monster inc. my beach has muai and moana and stitch and eric and ariel. But like what the heck do I do with toy story

Fixed I accidentally uninstalled the vcredists and that's why the game didn't start. If it happens to someone else, just reinstall the vcredist

No, it would not be safe as the unlink does not work and people have been losing access to their saves by trying, to access your other save, the best solution would be to create another Steam account for it, put in a support ticket to have them unlink it from your original Steam account so you can link it to the new one, it would help if you have the User ID for the second save.

Even with a backup save we don't recommend doing unlink right now, because it gets so messed up that it can change your player id.

That reminds me, I need to make an update checklist for people before this one comes out.

I found the box and it would not pick up and then my game seemed to glitch and the box went away but did not count it as collected. I can see the other two in my inventory. Initial item placement is the same for everyone, it’s not random. However, I have no idea why they did that specific thing, either. I remember being curious about it myself. But they’re just decor. Do what you like about them.

It’s a crafted item. If you crafted it recently, it should be near the bottom of your décor inventory list. If you still need to craft it, scroll through all crafting categories carefully, quest crafts do not remain at the top of the list after you open the crafting menu once.

I don't know about that, I ignored that quest but had it tracked for nearly a week and ended up with 5 old banners in the glade, 3 in a small area near that pic location, that was only a month ago.

Do not unlink your cloud save, you can lose it completely, the only safe way to access multiple games is with separate player accounts, this is easiest to do on Steam, but is possible with both Epic and Xbox app on PC.

With Xbox app, it's easiest to have separate computer logins to start with, then create a new Gamertag for the person who doesn't have one already, the big problem is both need either game pass or a purchased copy of DDV, Microsoft doesn't allow sharing on PC, only Steam has family sharing on PC.

The camera is very sensitive, and can catch things in a broad area and for a long distance beyond what the camera can see visually. Things can be white and uncustomized and still trigger it. It’s also somewhat easy with how some clothing types layer to have a piece of clothing on and not know. To check, go to an empty room in your house, meet the minimum requirements, then take a pic. If it gets the error, it’s something you’re wearing. If not, it’s decor.

Yes, you can carry progress from Switch to Steam by following this guide; and yes, you would also need to buy the DLC on Steam if you want to go to the isle on that platform.

Yes, there’s a houses category in the furniture menu. Go to the map where you want them and select them from that category to place. However for Gaston and Rapunzel you have to finish certain friendship quests first where you are repairing/restoring their houses. As far as I know EVE’s should be movable as soon as you recruit her.

Hello everyone ! I really need your help, I'm completely desperate on this problem that I've been having for over a year:

Last year I had a problem with growing my crops. When I planted crops they either grow or most of the time comeback as if they have NEVER been water while they are plants that only require 1x water. It's been completely crashing my game play experience. I've been trying and trying to get back to the crops and water but there's always a lag. I tried to restart my game, to delete and re install the game. Nothing works [by the way I'm on switch]. I litteraly gived up playing.

Today I went back after ALL that time and I try again with my crops. Conclusion : still the exact same thing happened. Water the new crops, comeback after the time was up : the plants act like they've never been watered before. 😭😭😭

If it's monkeys...
The teleportation glitch only happens when they’re in the narrow enclosed spaces. Fast travel to the valley and back to reset the spawn. You may have to do it more than once. Once they’re in the large open part of their biome, they will usually not teleport. (If you decorated the open area heavily or trap them in a corner, then it could happen there too. It's all about whether the computer can figure out a path for them to run.)

apples are good food i've used to keep my green bar low. but meals keep you yllow energy bar up. the higher the level it is the better. so if you can make 3-5 level meals stock up them. i try to stock up and use them. but if you're low on meals stock up on produce extra like apples and use them to keep your green level up. so you use lose less meals. easier to replace apples than have to cook up more meals again.

I'm guessing one of a couple of things went wrong there. Either you spent too long in furniture mode, which is known to cause problems, or some unique combination of your character's position and the camera angle at the time you exited furniture mode caused you to get stuck there.

Probably the second one. I only went into furniture mode to do the pillars. Definitely been in furniture mode for longer in the past without issues...

Yeah, and most of the time when you exit furniture mode, it doesn't go straight to a cutscene that changes the landscape like it did here.

It's also possible that the extra objects on the island contributed to the glitch. I pretty much cleared off mine before I did that and I had no problems.

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone is having problems with their game (on xbox) I load onto my game, only move around for the tiniest amount of time & I get kicked off my game constantly, I've been trying now since Wednesday to do this week's dreamsnap but everytime I try to hang out with a character & teleport to the area I want to take my pic, my game crashes & I get kicked off it all together, it's literally just done this about 15 times in the last 5 or so minutes... I don't know what to do, I went onto my other account to see if the same thing would happen on there & it was perfectly fine, my boyfriend loaded into my main account on his xbox, it worked perfectly fine for him, no crashing happened etc, so I don't know what's wrong with my main account on my xbox & why it keeps kicking me off, it's getting extremely frustrating now... Please tell me this is happening with someone else?

When I opened this game, it shows up "New Game" but I didn't click it to avoid from my saves getting purged. I tried to log in and I had that error of connection.
However, after taking a tour in the Settings I clicked on "Reset Profile" by accident, now it has "Continue" which I assume it continues to create a new profile 🥲 Maybe did it create a conflict with trying to log to get my saves back?

Neverthless, even if it's New Game or Continue, trying to log my account doesn't help and I still get the same error of connection

Probably, you could try a clean install but if you aren't using the same gamertag it's likely to just tell you that the cloud save is being used by another account, if you have the original user ID from the game, support might be able to unlink the cloud save and then a clean install should work.

There is a few items that cannot be placed after removing. Tiny bushes and those bricks in forgotten lands are two of them. I cannot see that smaller rock variation anywhere in furniture mode.

Is there an easier way to get out of being stuck rather than having to close the game completely? I have some of th eternity isle trees in my valley and wood spawns underneath them and you get stuck when picking up nearby items and can't hit any keys or move.

I personally don’t hoard much but whether you do or don’t, one thing I find useful is putting a vintage chest somewhere convenient in every biome (and in wherever your actual storage is, if it’s indoors). They share an inventory, so that way you can just drop things in as you go and pull them out for use or further organization as needed.

Do you have an additional external drive? If yes, make sure you install DDV on internal, not the external. Remove everything you can to create as much free space as possible, DDV needs a lot of free memory to run properly.

Uninstall the game and delete the local data. Then reinstall the game to internal, and redownload the data from the cloud.

How to Delete Xbox One Game Data

To remove and replace corrupted game files:

Press the Home button on the Xbox One controller and go to My games & apps > See all > Games.

Highlight the game or app, then press the Home button again.

Choose Manage game & add-ons > Saved data.

Choose Delete all to remove local game data.

Restart the Xbox One and re-sync your data from the cloud.

It's not that don't want to fix it, it's that is a problem with Xbox not the game. They can't fix it. You have to fix it on your Xbox. They can't do it for you. When the install files get corrupted the only fix is to uninstall and reinstall and replace the corrupt data.

i need help, so on my steam deck i was trying to transfer my cloud save data from my old account to my new one. it had been functioning correctly with saving and everything prior to this so i assumed it would be fine. Basically i just went into my game and hit "unlink", then i went to my new account and put in the info, yes it was the correct info. it said it was successful and has remained signed in, only instead of saying "continue game" it said "start new game" and made me start over completely.

Just because it worked before doesn't mean it isn't your Xbox. File corruption frequently happens with updates. Corrupt files crash. There is only one fix. You can't play the game as it is, so I'm not sure why you don't want to try the one thing that would let you play. But that's your choice. It's not a glitch if your save regressed, which can sometimes happen for various reasons. If you have confirmed that your save did not regress then it's a glitch, but often people will think something is a glitch that isn't because they haven't realized their save is a previous version.

It's a very large tree, it normally grows in 2 to 5 days when watered by hand every 8hrs or so.

It's a one time use item, while you are on the quest. By the end, you can always remove shrooms with your watering can. The stumps are Anna, the coral debris is Maui, the bones are Scar
