You have to use your hourglass on all the swirling sands in ancient's landing to find the planter. Also make sure you did not put the planter into storage by accident as it will say not collected if it's in a chest or potion cabinet etc.

You don't get dreamlight on the isle, you get mist instead, just keep pounding away in the valley, I can turn 2k an hour if I really work at them.

Yes, it’s noon to six on Saturday in the lagoon. Check the vine path, they are frequently up there and sometimes clip into the vines.

If you really can’t find them try reloading the map by fast traveling to the valley and back or rebooting.

Hi I am playing the game on my iPad. I notice that there's not a lot of options on the iPad as with other platforms. Apple platforms cannot use codes. You would have to submit a support ticket with the non-expired codes that you would like redeemed. Apple arcade version of the game also does not have the premium shop or star path events, but the regular Mac version does.

My Mac & MacBook I brought in 2020 but apparently they are too old to play Disney Dreamlight on. I also have 2 Desktops (PC) 1TB each & I brought a new laptop in November 2023 just so I can play Disney Dreamlight Valley and I can't play Disney Dreamlight on none of my devices except my iPad which is very difficult to play this game on and there's no support from Microsoft.

No. You just need to be signed into your Gameloft account via the cloud option on the title screen, then from inside the game, settings, help, sync to cloud, and have it say save successful. That's it. Then you log in to that same Gameloft account on the second device, and it pulls the cloud save. If it doesn't, then you will have to submit a ticket as that means something is wrong with your cloud save/Gameloft account.

The new math hasn’t been fully tested, but it seems like it’s still true that 6 of a role give a 💯 chance for single bonus drops. More than that and you get multi drop chance but always a bonus of at least plus one

The math of how many buddies for a role are required to get certain bonuses seems to have changed at the dec 5 update and we don’t know all the details yet. But we are pretty confident that six of a kind gives you a buddy bonus of plus one each time, and more buddies after six gives you a guaranteed plus one and a chance for higher bonuses.

They can clip into the foliage and you only get 2 max at any one time across the entire grasslands and promenade. Check very carefully and use a level 2 or 3 vacuum if possible.

Quest cannot be dropped or sold off so the candy has to be in her storage somewhere if she already took it from the miners so would also say double. Check her realms like wall-e or mickeys hidden room. And it cannot be used to make the extra fizzy root beer until you get the quest for it either.

You have to wear outfits that fit parameters of theme or dump furniture on the grass that fits. I really hate vanellope because I was too poor to do that. If you quest a lot you get enough furniture to do that if it is a furniture one... but clothes are probitivibly expensive in early game. I just buy anything under 500 and ignore the rest. It is a mad flex to buy an ugly jacket for 20k. Also okra. Is a good money maker when you unlock the glade.

Do that. Scrooge says it if you have daily convo. You get 3 for one plant, more if they do that wacky glow. Always bring a planting friend. I can make 80k a day on my patch. Plant your plants in the region they are native, they grow faster.

Honestly not sure. It was something an NPC said once. I just keep storage beside a Goofy booth in every region. I buy seeds for the achievements for X number of seeds and drop them in my box. Then I know what seeds and flowers are what region.

I try not to do too much meta googling answers except recipes. NPCs keep asking me for food I don't know how to make. Wish the in game clues were better on that.

The Realm bonus is only for certain items and it doesn't matter if the buddy is a timebender, so if you want paper lanterns - hang out with Rapunzel or Mother Gothel, fire extinguisher's are Eve or Wall-E, etc. It doesn't increase the chances of getting those things all that much in my opinion so I no longer bother and just take a time buddy when timebending.

Stuck on Simba’s Dreamlight tree quest. It’s been a week of me watering almost daily and it still tells me to water. I can’t progress further on any other quests because everything says to progress with jack, but he says to progress with Simba. Ugh! What do I do?!?

It takes 2-5 days if watered by hand every 8hrs even though it looks wet or is raining, it can also be blocked from growing by houses or other items placed too close around it, if you clear space for it, relaunch and cross the bridge in Sunlit to see if it spawns.

And I had it earlier on pc, but barely played it (on switch I play it a lot) but now I started it on my pc and thought, having 2 accounts is also fun. But I'm not sure if I bought the rift in time on pc as well. It does have the Eternity Isle at the collection tab. Does that mean I have Rift In Time or do all versions have that?

You have to buy the dlc on all the platforms you play on if you want access to to the island. But you can still use the tools etc from the dlc on the platform that doesn’t have the dlc.. if you use the gameloft cloud saving thing

Any fix for the "Come back tomorrow" popup when trying to open a 2nd blue chest?
I can only open 1 per day now. I've never changed the date/time, but it may have been caused by playing on different platforms and the save not syncing.

Yes, it can happen when playing on multiple platforms if the time between them is off AT ALL. It triggers the anti cheat, making it impossible to open another chest until 24 hours have passed. The easiest way to avoid triggering it is to ONLY open chests on one device. Once it's triggered you can't do anything but wait it out.

Do you have another platform? It sounds like you let the game open from the cloud save and it was not complete, if it was the same platform you last played on it overwrote the local save when you chose cloud save, unless you have made a backup there is no way to go back.

The cloud save can actually fail to properly upload while it reports success, my Xbox console does it often enough that I always change clothes before saving to the cloud and exiting DDV on it so if it opens wrong on my PC or Switch I can tell instantly and go back to open it again with the local save on Xbox to try again, that is the only way to recover.

Switch can use a memory card and games can install on it, if you look under "Data Storage" it will show you where each game is and allow you to move them, DDV must be run from internal storage or it will have problems, messed up save file being one of them as it saves where it is installed.

A few tips on Switch, always close DDV, don't let it suspend or it's likely to crash when you try to play again, if it's your only platform - always choose "local save" if it gives you a choice, most important is to regularly take the Switch out of it's cradle and hold down the power button until the power menu pops up, then power it off and leave it out of the cradle for 3-5min, I do that daily but that could be a bit much.😆

The teleportation glitch only happens when they’re in the narrow enclosed spaces. Fast travel to the valley and back to reset the spawn. You may have to do it more than once. Once they’re in the large open part of their biome, they will not teleport.

OK, so I'm probably being paranoid, but... I have owned the game on Switch since day one and now I want to buy the Cozy Switch edition, just for the in game promotional items and extra moonstones. Gameloft FAQs say that I can just use the in box code that a new player would use to download the game, and it should give me all the new stuff and not affect my actual game save or progress in any way. Has anyone here tried that and can you confirm it's definitely safe to do it, please? Do you input the code in the Switch store or in the in game redeem a code place to do this? I'd be devestated to lose all my progress for the sake of some new raccoon companions and a Cheshire Cat sweater! TIA. 💜

I did it when Cozy came out, it's safe, you input the code in the Store on your Switch, then claim the letter in your game mailbox to add the moonstones and cosmetic items.

You can't reset duties, you just have to wait untill you open those areas.

Sometimes, saving, exiting and relaunching will change the more specific duties into general ones, also mining and fishing ones can often be completed by mining/catching items in another biome that shares items with the listed one.

Yes, using cloud save. Make sure that you are signed in to your gameloft account, and that you sync to the cloud before logging off of one and logging on to the other. Then, whenever it asks if you want to use the cloud or local saves, you'll choose cloud.

No it's not automatic. You need to have manually saved to the in-game cloud feature under Settings - Help - Save to Cloud. You can then log in to the cloud from the in-game main menu under Cloud on your new device to bring up your save

I've never personally been able to access DLC's from any other game on another profile on Xbox, not just this game

With the exception of Switch, all profiles on any platform have to buy it separately as they are account bound not console bound

Not sure what your doing wrong but it's actually part of xboxs terms you just set your main profile as the main profile list the other profiles as "sub" profiles and everyone on the x box can use the same stuff it's so you can buy things for your kids on your x box and they can't accidentally but stuff

The Rift DLC is listed as a consumable so it doesn't share anywhere but Switch, I now have it on Epic and Steam with different players, I don't have a lot of other games to compare but will note that several I do have on Xbox do share DLC with other players but a couple of others do not so I don't think Gameloft is alone, very little DLC content shares with Steam's family share and Epic has no sharing mechanism at all.

Yeah it's bugged, happens in the Lion King realm too. Exit and re-enter and it should spawn somewhere accessible. If it persists close the game and reopen it.

Ultimate was a Founders Edition, if you installed it before Dec. 5th last year, you should have a claim letter in your game mailbox for all the cosmetics that come with the new Gold edition, you only need to purchase the Expansion pass to get Eternity Island.

Duplicate quest items are cleaned out occasionally with updates. What I do when I find something like that is go to some storage in a realm you’ll never need again and put it in there. There’s a chest in the BATB library, an old fridge in the WALLE realm, and I believe a container near the boat in Moana’s realm as well, for example.

You can still pick up pixel shards and items dropped on the floor from others. Your pixel shards are separate to the other player so you can only see your own and they can only see theirs so you both get an equal amount

There are 3 spots per biome. They are gonna global respawn every 30 mins, meaning if you dig the first ones in the plaza, then meadow, then dazzle, when they respawn it might be in meadow rather than plaza or whatever.

I've started decorating and I've been having a bug (at least I think it's a bug) where after moving some items around my house or valley, after exiting furniture mode, the items suddenly move to random places where I didn't place them, and I often lose items because I don't know where they went 😭 For example I started decorating for the first time yesterday in my home. I don't have many items yet when I exited furniture mode, everything went in random places. But the worse one was just now when I made a tiny little fruit tree area in my valley. When I exited furniture mode, 6 of the 8 trees disappeared (I'm guessing they are now somewhere in my valley) and only two remained but not where I placed them 😦 Is this a known/common bug? Is there anything I can do to avoid it happening? I can imagine that must really suck for players who spend hours making beautiful areas then when they resume playing it's all undone

You need to keep decorating sessions short. No more than a few minutes, then back out of that furniture mode. Click save, go back in. This has been happening since initial launch

This is not a bug. It wants you to keep watering it. It will never look dry, so water it every 8 hours. It takes several days to grow and the quest will update when it's done.

Hmmmm, they do drop sometimes for me but not everyday (mostly the fox giving me iron, crocodiles giving seeds) but I give them their not favorite food (like octopus for the crocodile instead of lobster) that makes them give you stuff
If I give them their favorite food they'll give me dreamshards

Does anyone know how fast the green fly traps in the grasslands/promenade regenerate? I have been trying to get enough for the flower power challenge since yesterday afternoon and only seem to be spawning the purple ones. I grabbed like 3 yesterday and no new ones so far

Only two green flytraps spawn at a time and they can clip/blend with the foliage. Look carefully and check the little risen area north of the main promenade area up to the castle, that counts too. Use a level two plus vacuum if possible.

If you routinely update your cloud save before exiting, if not it would be prudent to make sure it's updated from your other platform.

Just like Dipper said! It will be just fine as long as your Gameloft cloud save is up to date. The Nintendo online cloud save doesn't matter that it's out of date, because when the game loads you will hit keep cloud save (Gameloft cloud). Then you can update the Nintendo cloud backup when you are done playing.

Has anyone had a problem connecting to online services. I'm using Xbox game pass on PC and no matter what I do it acts like there's no internet. I have checked for updates and verified / repaired the game.

Online Services Error

This is a MTU issue on Gameloft's end, but until they fix it, here are some optional workarounds.

ATTN: We can only provide you the base workarounds, we can't tell you exactly how to do them as we are not tech support or permitted to do more than give you options.

Option #1
VPN: Use a VPN to get around the issue. If on a console you have to install the VPN to your router.

Option #2
Change the MTU setting on your router to 1450. If 1450 doesn't work, do 1400.

Option #3
Play on Switch: Switch has a base MTU below 1450 allowing it to work when other devices won't.

Option #4 (PC ONLY)
Run command prompt as administrator then type in the following to find out the interface name and current MTU:
netsh interface ipv4>show subinterfaces
If the above command fails, instead remove the > and add a single space. Do the same for all following commands.

If your MTU is above 1450, run the following command and change the name in quotes to match your Ethernet or Wifi name (whichever connection you are using):
netsh interface ipv4>set interface "Ethernet" mtu=1450

This change will only work until you reboot your PC.
If the above command works for you, you can make the change persistent by running the following command:
netsh interface ipv4>set interface "Ethernet" mtu=1450 store=persistent

If it doesn't work or if your MTU is already set to 1450, try an MTU of 1400 instead.

More and more lately I’ve been having issues where the game like ‘ glitches’ when a pop window up occurs .
Examples:
-You go to hand a character items and the window pops up for you to ‘Confirm/Give’ said items
-Opening a “memory/puzzle piece”
-“Fast Traveling” to a biome or Relm.

More and more frequently when these instances happen I get stuck on the ‘pop-up window’ whatever it may be and cannot do anything but force close and restart the game.

We generally recommend wheat because it grows so fast. Rich soil drop is low so you need to plant and harvest a lot.

Then no. On Steam you can edit the keybind to enable turbo mode on regular press, which means you can hold the button and it spams the presses for you. If you have a controller that has a turbo toggle it might work instead, but otherwise I don't know a way around it on Xbox or Epic, neither of which offer keybinding like Steam does. Perhaps if your keyboard has its own software for editing keybinds.

Do I need to run around picking all the other flowers to ensure 4 will respawn every 30 mins, or will there always be 4 regardless of what other flowers are up? And related, are the flowers as a group on their own group respawn list, or do other things (like garlic, wood, etc in the biome) all interconnected with respawning?

TLDR version: if i just need Blue Star Lillies, can i only pick them as they respawn and not do anything else in the Forest while I wait

For Moana memory you need to collect ten flowers from the forest of the valor. The quest will then change to tell you to investigate the memory. The memory is a memory orb that spawns after picking the last flower.

completely unrelated, what is the games reset timer for timed things? I started the Buzz quest last night where you have to collect 25 green guys. I got the 9 that spawned immediately, finished at like 11pm EST last night. It's now 5pm EST, should be 7 available the next day, but there are none anywhere. is it unique to when the quest started (so exactly 24 hours after i started it, like 11pm est tonight?)

Not unless you made a backup save before beginning it. If you collected 10 flowers, and the quest is telling you to find the memory, then there is a memory orb somewhere that you need to touch. The memory can be anywhere in the forest, across the bridge, or even down on the beach.
