With only a (usually +4 / sometimes +1) buddy and the critters, I got over 100 eggs this morning. And most of the crafty things only take 5x green eggs. I think you'll be good even without switching all your buddies.

I personally like: Eternity Isle, Wishblossom then Storybook.

Eternity gives you machines to help you all over your valley.
Like: Vacuums, Gardening and Cooking! Even when you finish the DLC you can keep using those machines.

Wishblossom gives you horse! You can ride them and you use them for tasks, like mining and digging. The horses also help you complete quests inside of Wishblossom.

Storybook has beautiful biomes and the quests can be a challenge if you like that. The currency in this DLC is called Magic. It becomes useless once you complete the DLC. Which makes it number 3 on my list.

Events are meant to be available to the early players, the newbies. Dazzle beach is a relatively early unlock as far as biomes go, making it ideal. It also has the most fishing spots, iirc.

It depends on how you want things to look.
There is an Arch that you can actually walk under that's pretty cool, if you're going for that vibe. You could go for a less crowded area or a very crowded area. I've got both here so you can see how that looks. One is my Meadow and other the Plateau, I put Merlin's library up there with all my fruit trees. Going into his library is very crowded, you can still walk, but I can't place anything else down.
I also took some SS of the trees I use the most and the arch, just in case.

Id probably only add some colourful trees { nice reds. If you pick the red one. Skip through the trees and find the 1x square skinny trunk one
The others are too big a trunk and cant place in tiny spaces

My method was to just take them, plant a ton of wheat, water it with them, and then harvest it with them

Wheat grows in 1 minute so it's quick but mundane

That’s what I’ve been doing 🫶🏻 I did Wheat, Lettuce and Carrots. Have carrots growing now while I look at Scrooges. It seems to level up faster using the horses to water. Or maybe I’m imagining it 🤣

Then you've got all your crops for cooking and great for lvl up

Tbh placing a load of the snippet lures lvl 1 basic did amazing for mine

I dunno why its all about crops when you can sell them fish raw or cook for loads more

And time to grow...4 hours Harvest ...then cook ...

Fish up then fish is easier faster and more profitable
