Ah, that's certainly the most common cause (Google -- gmail [plain-old-email] vs external sign-in provider).
Either way, odds are that your characters and account are intact, since after Vera's release it became much more difficult to re-associate a game account (transfer it to another sign-in). If you can remember the original sign-in credentials, you should be back in business. Also remember to check the selected world and region once you get on the account.
Happen to be playing on Mobile Data / Cellular? If you are, please try using a WIFI connection if that's at all possible.
If you're already on WIFI (or wired), then as a first step to troubleshooting, try resetting all Internet Equipment. CPE / Modem / Router.
I've gone ahead and shot you a DM, pinging you within technical-help as well just for visibility (to make sure that's seen). It sounds like you're getting far enough that crash-dumps are being generated, so we'll start with collecting those.
Re-read through your DM's, sounds like you've tried wiping the contents within AppData as well now.
To re-summarize the problem:
-- You're able to sign-in on mobile both on WIFI and Cellular-Data.
-- You're not-able to sign-in from your PC and are being presented with Login Status Exception.
-- You were able to get past the Login Status Exception at least once (per the screenshot that you showed me in DM's), yet on this time you saw "no servers" populating the list.

That's been sent over. Basically, odds are strong that it has to be something specific to that PC. It can't be on the account side, since you're able to login with another device, and it can't be your Internet Connection, given that's been tested working on said other device too.
It would be either Facebook Google or regular login

As long as two world / server selections are within the same region, they are interconnected. You can think of servers like multiple doors to the same world.

the standard launcher feature all 3 login method, you can try to log with facebook and google and then test if you can find your character at server selection ( after closing news announcement window ).
for standard login..... well, you need to test with forgot password option and see which email recognized as your account.

that bug was introduced when fast forward story was implemented for new player so they can reach latest area quickly.

kept giving me a weird mesage saying 'unable to send custom messages'
that's a rare issue where restarting the game usually helps. You might also read something like "...minors are not allowed..." - tof used to restrict ppl's message if the system somehow detects u are underage, otherwise there are players who had to play on standalone in the past and switch to steam, where tof can read the birthday or a restriction from client like family share) - as long restarting helps, it's fine ...worst case u have to verify it over support ticket if it stays

is your account already connected to another gmail acc or not
so, I don't know if it works if you haven't bound your account with the level-infinite pass... but you just go to your Account Manager and click on unbind
It should then look like the screenshot below - 
There's also a note that you can only bind new accounts - so it should work as long the new google account hasn't binded to an old tof account in the past.
I think u can also unbind it over google dashboard :3 - in case it would not work

I have this issue too since the first anniversary, but for me the quest "talk to Claire" does't show and I only have "Get ready to go to Vera".
I missed the whole event last year because of the bug and now I'm going to miss the collab one too π
thats one of big bugs over the years, also rarely because u had to missed 2-3 patches of vera story.
- first patch was ez to fix over simulacrum story or asking someone for teleport
I tested it on an alt - u can also get a bug if u finish vera before aesperia (but thats minor since u just missed sidequest in aesperia and not like having issue to get into new planet)
The first time I quit the game was before Vera was exist

most of the time one-way comunication, bugs get fixed in couple patches or with luck also announced in changelogs. I was even suprised when my my reported bug was fixed after 5-6 months xD

Bitdefender is known to cause what you're experiencing right now. Some people report success with an exception at alleviating it.

Far as the exception, make sure that the exception includes "Advanced Threat Defense". Specifically that (Bitdefender's usermode hooks for its behavioral heuristics) is what interacts here.

It's safe to ignore Steam Sync issues. This will have no bearing on your progress in the game.
-- Steam sync would be more on Valve's end, or a connectivity to their servers. You could try adding "-tcp" to the Steam command line {shortcut to Steam itself} and see if that helps if this is persistent long term.

There's forms for reporting a false-positive, yet this isn't actually Bitdefender causing a detection of any kind. It's more a behavioral quirk / interaction between Bitdefender and the game software. {I'd classify it as a 'bug'}
You could report it as a false-positive, and that likely would get them to look into the issue just the same though.

@plucky light logout from game and launcher, delete content of these folders :

delete directx shader through windows disk clean up menu.

either you need to check windows UAC, group policy, or is there extra anti virus outside windows defender which prevent the exe to write to that folder.

Not really, currently it's in the tower of fantast/launcher folder, I tried de-activating the anti-virus but it still didn't work

There's two AV Interactions (the most common two that seem to be causing the most problems) in the pin here: #technical-help message
Though we also know that CrowdStrike Falcon for instance interferes with the game. Avira was flagging the processes after the last release, yet this was addressed (whitelisted now). There's been a few reports of Norton causing crashes- There may be more unknown interactions.
Anyway, if you can provide crash-dumps (as GespenstMkI hinted to), usually that helps a ton in finding if it's a software interaction.
Update: Launcher reinstalled, Bitdefender definitely involved in the game's crashes.

**Hello there been having issues with ToF after the new update . **
Each time i open game in either DirectX 11 or 12 the game for some reason crashes.
On 12 it doesnt even load to login screen . And on 11 it on 2nd or 3rd attempt loads into game but doesnt work properly and when for example moving to another location via teleport it crashes.
Even in menus etc....
Hardware shouldnt be the issue since got good enought pc for the game. So doesnt think that is problem atleast

try clean install then, sometimes old drivers stay on pc, messing up with newer

could be multiple things, like not enough storage for temp files, problem with hardware itself
hard to tell when not seeing it 
test with try and error, keeping in mind what u did with ur pc lately, so u maybe figure out what could affect it

I have seen a strange bug in the past where the file was protected from being overwritten after players selected
In general, it is not a good idea to choose the french layout in the game, it's better to use the english layout and customise it to your needs (even as someone who use AZERTY)

Yes it can. There's been interactions with Bitdefender since Vera, and these have recently gotten worse as of the recent update. See the following pin: #technical-help message

Anyway, if that doesn't resolve your crashes. Please do let me know and I'll collect some crash-dumps from you.

Steam is "slightly" different, in that the Steam version of the game uses the Steam Ingame Overlay for any real-money transaction in the shop.
Outside of that, the Steam version right now (purely by chance) is working with Bitdefender without exceptions added. Yet, wouldn't personally rely on that -- there's still an effect of Bitdefender's hooks, and there's still writes happening to the wrong memory locations.
Just the difference in the binaries is sufficient that for now, they're still within the game's address space. [hence no immediate game-crash]
If you use Bitdefender, no matter the version of the game that you're on -- you'd be highly advised to add exceptions.

Okay so silly question: I can't enable the Steam Overlay in-game. The option is greyed out. How do I spend money in this game then?
Your Steam Ingame Overlay setting in Steam's global settings is disabled, far as why that's grayed out.
Anyway, once you enable the global setting, the game specific setting should come up, and if it doesn't, you'll be able to toggle it afterwards. You might still have overlay issues after this, yet if you do, check this pin: #technical-help message

sadly yes, your option is to buy a more powerful mobile device which feature 8 GB RAM, or play using PC with 16 GB RAM ( recommended ) spec
or play the ps5 version, be aware, pc/mobile and ps are maintained by different publisher, so no crossplay.

open the standard launcher -> top right menu -> click your account name -> drop down account -> find bind menu for steam.

is steam you may have your dl capped in settings, if off windows store or threw the launcher is could just be the servers are loaded up at the moment, i would recomend downloading from steam

Okay still can't purchase anything in-game. The Steam overlay is enabled, but doesn't work. I can press Shift-Tab til the cows come home and nothing happens (except I dodge back like a scared kitten). So going into the store and clicking on any purchase option for passes or crystals causes the fps to drop for a second kinda like it's thinking about doing something, but no overlay comes up trying to confirm any purchase. I've linked my Steam account. At this point it just seems to be blocking the overlay to confirm any purchases? Any ideas?

My skill buttons are not in the bottom right corner anymore - they are elevated now, with relics annoyingly in front of quests - not sure why, but its ruining my gameplay.

One problem with a lack of system RAM is that if the game occupies it all -- there's nothing left for the OS to use for disk caching.

In terms of installing memory, if it's a desktop, it's fortunately pretty straight forward. As in, plug in the memory modules and that's it.
Laptops, a bit more involved usually, but generally not that hard for a first time -- minus if the model is plastic latch clipped together, or glued.

I'd mostly want to start with the specs of your machine. Then, potentially move onto a msinfo export.
You're not crashing from what your video shows, you're just getting ejected to the server select.

Seen the crouch option and toggled it on, to test it out, but thats the only thing I remember toggling, since couldnt find what I originally came for.
Noticed the weirdness, toggled crouch off.
But the button interface never repositioned, so..not sure if I toggled something when scrolling through settings, accidently.
Since the mobile version is touch-screen, it may very well be a feature. Sadly I wouldn't be able to tell you where the setting is or if there is one, that might have to be answered by someone who mains on the mobile versions.
Given it may be a feature, you might have better luck in the other channels that are more viewed.

Each version of the launcher has its own paths. In general, the Steam and Standalone launcher are the most common and we're trying to not overwhelm people with too much, but yes if you're on Epic, then you'd adjust appropriately (replacing Steam for Epic in the paths, e.g).
Have you already attempted logging out of the game completely and doing a fresh sign-in?
Completely meaning, close the game, sign-out from the launcher, close the launcher {check the system tray for the launcher icon and make sure it's actually terminated}, re-start the launcher, then re-sign in.

What GespenstMkI meant is that clearing AppData\Local\Hotta\ is akin to factory resetting the client. This will lose / clear all settings that you had in the client, including your server selection.
Before you enter the game, pay close attention to the active server display at the bottom of the screen before clicking to proceed with login.

When you're in the server selector, there's an entry at the top of the servers (world list) that shows the worlds that you have characters on. I'll quickly enter the game and get a screenshot.

You're on an unofficial image not provided by the cellular carrier, right? An older Android version specifically vs what they offer. Usually you won't have the ability to get OTA updates on anything other than an official release. {meaning from the carrier}

Anyway, ability to update is generally just tied to the image. Factory images from cellular providers tend to have auto-update functionality in Android, otherwise there's no source for the updates set.
Sadly I wouldn't be able to comment on that one, it's going to depend on the carrier specifically and how they have their images configured.

The app that you're showing is likely "not" the system updater application.
Usually you won't see that as something explicitly installed or even listed, as it's a core part of the image / considered 'system'.

Manual is the way that you tend to have to go with "custom" images.
But, if you're purely on an official ROM, I would recommend seeing the carrier. If you're not on an official ROM, they'd certainly put you back on one as well if you asked.

What's your configured default browser in Windows? First thing that I'd suggest is trying setting a different browser as the default. Assuming the browser isn't opening at all.
If the browser is opening, yet the redirection is not happening -- usual culprit is plugins, assuming that the launcher's web-server at loopback is running. If it's not running, another potential is if there's a web-server running on your machine occupying port 80. [e.g, if you're not connecting to the launcher, yet something else in its place--]
If you can send me a screenshot (here or in DM's -- double check and scrub any personal details shown), a picture would be a huge help probably.
Sounds like a bug, especially in that your sending text was the trigger of what stopped the audio loop.
If you're absolutely certain that the login credentials are correct, that the right server / world is selected, and that everything else is identical to before -- then you'll need to #game-support and get an investigation going.
Since you mentioned Android, I'm assuming that your login was via "Google"? Make sure that you're checking both Google (external sign-in provider) and gmail (plain old email) for sign-in. They are treated differently and can have separate accounts associated. ---> I know you said that you tried this, yet it's the most common cause.
Another potential is if you used Google's email salting for alts, since you mentioned being a long time / early player.
By the way, whenever you said that you returned a few weeks ago. Was this with retained sign-in entry? Or did you have to sign in fresh?

Ah, so a crash of the client + loss of the settings, and the account session-token, is what happened here. Being booted back into the login prompt.
There's another potential as well, which is if the game client is on another account that you don't think it is [if something went awry with the login process after that crash]. Do you have any other device that you can try for login?
If not, try wiping the app cache, if you've not already.

Where there's a crash involved, there's the potential that something on the device side is causing what's seen. Be it from corruption or otherwise.

Game account data is not wiped over time. However, you mentioned that you've not played in a very long while, which I presume means before Vera (2.0) was dropped. The relevance here is that after Vera was released, the account binding system was revamped to make it much more difficult to unbind and re-bind sign-in methods without the involvement of support (or additional checks--).

Most of the time, the culprit is simply that in the long time that's elapsed, you're not signing into the correct account (or in the same way as you did back then). Google is usually to blame here, so if you recall using Google, make sure that you're trying BOTH gmail (plain old email) and Google (external sign-in provider).

TLDR version is: Most likely, you're not on the same game account, or don't have the same server / world selected.
But, since you're also an old player, there's the potential (much more rare) of account theft.
Both of these situations, support can help.

FPS. Iβve not even attempted action because at this point just running around the station area Iβm in Iβd like playing a slide show. It was lagging my whole computer to the point of what I was watching on a second monitor turned into a slide show

Hey, i just came back to the game since it released in 2022, but when i logged in i had to start from the begging. Can that happened that they deleted my account progress? I remember i had a lot of characters and a lot of progress I would be pretty sad if they would just deleted everything. My game isn't launching
my hard disk got completely corrupted so I had to format it and install windows 10 completely fresh
installed tower, other stuff, directX and updated my graphics drivers
when I launch the game it shows up for a few seconds as a black screen before closing

Be aware that the AppData folder is hidden by default, and cannot be navigated to by hand. You can get to such a path directly in entering it manually within Windows Explorer (in the top path-field of the dialog), from the run-prompt, etc. For example:

How fresh is this Windows install? e.g, that "other stuff" that you mentioned. Could you list what you've installed specifically if this includes security software, streaming tools, audio mixers, etc?

at launcher window, if your gpu don't have raytracing / dlss, set the launcher to dx11, topright menu dropdown -> system -> set directx.
else, pick directx 12.
make sure gpu driver and os are up to date.
also do you have 3rd party antivirus ? like bit defender, kapersky, norton, some antivirus lately have lots of false positivie with the game, causing it unable to run or even crash.

uhh, the easiest thing to check windows task bar, bottom right near windows date.
just expand it, windows defender represented with shield icon and no known issue so far with it.
if you have other antivirus, usually that's the easiest place to spot one.
if you're still crashing or unbale to load into game after prolonged load, after deleting those files at appdata folder, go to :

Thanks for your reply! I don't have any antivirus running nor any of the application mentionned. I went to the Hotta folder you mentionned but there is no Saved folder, only a file intl_auth.txt, a folder named 29093 in the folder I also have the intl_auth.txt file

Is it normal for a phone to get hot? As in, while playing Tower of Fantasy? Depends on what you mean by hot. Warm to the touch, for sure. Overheation, no.
Though keep in mind that this depends on a lot of factors like the ambient temperature and where you're running the device, heat exposure from sunlight, etc.
When you view "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\": What exists under this folder? {can you provide a screenshot?}

It sounds like you're never seeing the game launched, that there's probably no "Saved_Steam\" subfolder under that path. No engine logs generated, no crash-dumps, and nothing under the Application section of the Windows Event Viewer. That more or less sum things up?
Anyway, if that's the case -- which it seems to be, then you likely have a damaged Windows installation. It doesn't sound like you're running a third party Windows ISO. Have you ever "modified" the Windows installation, such as in stripping it down? Debloat scripts or otherwise-

current pc is 77gbish, but when major patch happened, the game will ... take hostage around 50 gb of free space foe the whole patch process even if the downloaded size is not reaching that size.

Depends on the Android Image and its theming. Different distributions may have different icons / visuals, or even a different settings layout.
Either way, "should" here is subjective. You're running a custom ROM, and they've {the team that produces such} done some customization.

This Discord server is specifically for PC (Windows) and Mobile (Android / iOS). You'll likely have more luck getting help for the console release (different publisher with its own social presence) on its respective channels.
There's probably not much that you can do per performance on console [as a fixed hardware and software platform] outside of any ingame visual settings. e.g, reducing view distance, or other quality settings.

run a chkdsk /f <insert drive letter where game located>: command at cmd window.
after that, run crystaldisk info to check your drive read/write error number. ( make sure to show the result in non hexa, from the app option )
without any extra antivirus or a disk damage , a simple steam verify or repair from tof launcher should be enough to fix your error.

Error implies corruption usually. Whenever you verified the game's assets, did that pass without re-acquiring files on Steam?
it is a command to repair missing cluster or software related write error.
if toward os drive ( usually c: ), you will be prompted to restart windows, then the os will run a disk scan and auto repair any missing cluster which is not related to physical damage.
if toward non os drive, you will be asked to dismount, make sure no application running / operating, and just answer Y, the os will run disk scan at the cmd window.
In this case I'd need to see the crash-dumps.
