Hopefully that gives a little insight into it at least. I have multiple clients installed on this end for testing purposes, so it's my pleasure to answer as much of that as I can.
In a situation like this one, the best bet would be to #game-support and explain the situation / ask for assistance. Mistakes happen -- and I assume that you'd want to use your primary Steam Account rather than using an alternate one, although that would be possible too.
So for ps5 specific questions I wouldnt be able to find people here in this server right? I may have to look for another one then. But I guess all the game stuff itself is the same or do they not have the same Events etc going ?
Events and promotions may not line up between the game releases, yet there may be similarities. The lore, characters, quests, and other elements may.
Haven't had issues with XBox or PlayStation Controllers with Tower of Fantasy last that I'd tried this. Since the controller is acting as if one of the analog sticks is constantly pressed downward, does moving the stick up counter-balance and stop the movement?
If it does, the next question would be if you've tried going through Windows' Joystick Calibration per zeroing the sticks when they're centered.
It might be that the stick is just slightly outside the dead-zone, yet close enough for the tolerances of other games.

it seems i am able to use my steam wallet without binding. I didn't actually purchase anynthing yet, but I was able to get to the transaction screen so this is probably the case.

Ah, in that case bear in mind that the user-agreement covers that you can only use a single account at a time anyway. You're not prohibited from having multiple accounts, though.
since selecting log out on the steam-opened launcher does not give the option to log into a different account instead, and does not re open the login launcher.

also delete :
- gpu shader cache ( google your model )
- directx shader cache ( windows disk clean up )
- steam shader cache if using steam ( remove checkmark and add checkmark again )
run tof, at launcher set direct to version depend on gpu, if have raytracing or dlss, pick dx12
will have to set every in game setting again and find your old character at server selection.
so far, the known solution is comple uninstall of said vpn.
unknown if disabling service via msconfig or disable any task at task scheduler can help.
also check further if you have any other conflicting app

also, if you only have ~25 GBish, you'll stuck with unable to update when next big patch coming or get a bug saying not enough free space

the game currently use ~70gb.
when doing large patch it will use quite large space before reducing size again, at least on standard client.

Sadly not something that can be discussed per the user agreement. Note the following sections:
7. Player Conduct
You agree not to do any of the following with respect to the Services, as determined by us, as applicable:
(d) access or use them on more than one device at a time
(h) remove, disable, circumvent, or modify any technological measure we implement to protect them or any of their associated intellectual property
There's also coverage under the portion of the agreement on account creation and access. Multiple instances of the client are not intended to be ran concurrently.
Could you give me a quick description of the freezes {such as where and how they tend to happen}? Are they consistent / do they happen at the same place every time?

Since I see that you're on the Steam Version, please take a look under "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\Saved_Steam\Crashes\" and see if anything gets generated in there. You might need to wait for 120-seconds for the engine's watchdog routine to declare the rendering thread stalled.
If there's subfolders under that path, and if you could zip them up and send them my way (via DM's), would be glad to take a look and see if we can figure out what's going on there. If not, then please check under the \Logs\ folder, and instead send a copy of "hotta.log".
Implementation wise, this one operates via an LSP + hooks. While the hooks aren't injected if the software is fully terminated, the installed LSP is still-present acting as a passthrough in those cases -- and seemingly this on its own will crash Tower of Fantasy.
Unfortunately, a-lot of proxy / VPN software can cause issues with games (just in general) -- even if it's not being used, and you're trying to adhere to the user-agreement / shutting it off while playing the game.

We're aware of what you're referring to, and there's nothing to worry about in that respect.
In general just stick to the official announcements [as a news source for Tower of Fantasy Global] - Some people {e.g, looking at Reddit here} have a tendency to read into things too deeply / extrapolate their own expectations beyond what's actually stated.
I couldnt really find anything ingame saying they would reset stuff. And yes it was reddit. Merging servers and so on and nothing would carry over after the evangelion Crossover. Makes me confused tbh 💀

Just making sure that I understand. You're talking of recruitment within the game itself and not within Discord Channels, right?
Far as anything on the ingame side, likely it'll require an ingame support ticket to have it investigated what specifically is being sent that's causing messages to be flagged. If it's on the Discord, we can of course look into what's going on.

Assuming that the Ingame Overlay is enabled both globally (in Steam) and in the game-profile for Tower of Fantasy, then you're likely hit with what's described in this pin: #technical-help message

Not familiar with that specific quest-chain {I'm not well versed in these personally}. Assuming that you're unable to hand in a quest that otherwise seems completed, then you might have encountered a bug.
Best recommendation would be to try reaching out in the other channels that are more frequently visited by folks (such as #gameplay-help ), and if there's no suggestions to try, then to attempt reaching out via the ingame ticket system. (see #game-support )

In terms of ToF, the primary effect is that DLSS frame-generation won't function.
So, if you're on an RTX 40XX card, that might be a consideration if you use that feature.
Will it heavily affect other games?
Usually not, minus the frame-gen feature.

Performance wise, HAGS "might" improve lows and reduce stuttering. However, that's overall a mixed bag -- despite that it's intended to improve performance.
There's a lot of games where HAGS causes stuttering as well.
Be aware that you'll need to reboot following disabling the feature.

Fantastic- Personally I would prefer to disable HAGS vs launching Steam as admin.
A side effect of HAGS is that it changes the way that the DWM {Windows' Compositor} swap-chain functions, per handling display presentation. With HAGS disabled, this is entirely done in software {by Windows}. When HAGS is enabled, that responsibility gets in part deferred to the graphics card drivers [and hardware offloaded].
The Steam overlay itself is not part of the game, and is something inserted / hooked into the display chain at launch.
It's more complicated per what exactly breaks under the hood. Valve hasn't been able to come up with a sufficient solution, and this actually impacts more than ToF / other games as well, and other overlay frameworks.

Eventually it may become the norm, and I'm sure the issues will get ironed out with it. In theory, HAGS is better. {and sometimes it can make as much as 5% performance improvements in games}

This "New" thing won't go away. I literally clicked every button I can click without spending money, went through all outfits, decorations and even the appearance settings. There's no reason for that marker to be there, but it is. Does anyone have an idea why?

Hi! i recently just tried to play tof again and i cant gain access to my old account? i know the server i was in and im 99% sure i knew the email but now when i log in on that email it just starts a new char and game. It might be because i downloaded it on steam this time when before i used the windows client? in case u cant transfer progress between them

1 using standard account and infinite pass as login.
1 using steam account.
they are both transfer able toward each other, but need to do correct method.
if your 1st account is standard account -> use the launcher -> top right menu -> account -> bind to steam. ( your steam client condition must without this game added into its library or installed )
once binding process finished, then can start to add library and download the game.
if your 1st account is steam -> run steam -> run the game launcher -> top right menu -> account -> bind to infinite pass. ( under condition, haven't create an infinite pass account on standard launcher )
once binding process finished, then can start downloading the standard launcher or login into the standard launcher.
contact support@toweroffantasy-global.com if you want to fix the current result, so your steam account binded toward the old progress of infinite pass one.
explain about drop in .... did you meant entering instance / change channel ? is the stuttering and lag spike last for more then 15 seconds ?
whenever stuck in instance or a quest event, use top right [->] symbol. Top of minimap near channel number.
if you forgot which email you used or login method, well, you have to test... a lot using forgot password.
if you forgot which server you were, just click on server name on top of enter button after closing news and announcement after loading the game logo.

same with convoy, well convoy teleort you to domain9, once done, you need to use world map again and teleport to asperia
1st time opening map, will only show the current map zone, look for button at bottom left, click it, and it will show zone map, switch around to asperia, you should return back to old quest
post merge, server naming was a wreck, you need to test every server under the current region.
i.e if you were playing at america region, then you need to test every server under america region to find your old character.

Did some reading on the Pixel 8 here. Seems that the setting is called "Smooth Display" for 120hz -- the articles that I'm reading that reference this are fairly old though {it's always possible that this may have changed}.
-- The device also supports adaptive sync on the display, and capping the ingame framerate to 60-fps (even with Smooth Display ON) may have a similar reduction in power draw.
Doesn't show up, as in no launcher appears? I notice that you've 3 hours listed of gameplay, and seem to have played in the past -- was this on the same system and also under Steam {back then}?
First thought would be if you have Process Lasso on the machine. Though this usually would only effect the first launch. The second tends to work.

For an issue of this nature where account information is not correct -- you'd want to #game-support and specify where you're hailing from. Customer Support should be able to make those changes and get whatever details on the account are in error corrected.

Sounds like you've at least gotten the Launcher to display, and to log into the game now. Far as account recovery, that's something that'd need Customer Support's aid on the game-side. (see #game-support -- per how to open a ticket)
If there's any chance that you're using "gmail", you might've logged in before via the "Google" Icon from the launcher (rather than plain-old-email). Google sign-in through the external login provider is different than Google as email {both can yield different game-accounts}.
Since you're logging in fresh after a long period of time, there's also the potential that you're on the right account -- yet have the wrong server {world} or region selected.

Far as the account situation, your best bet would be to reach out to Customer Support to request an investigation into which account was used, especially if you've lost access to your Google account (due to losing the bound phone).
You might also try getting in touch with Google, per account recovery on the Google-side. [or, your Wireless Carrier -- they're often well versed in this]

This is concerning, since normally running the game should not cause re-acquisition of files. I doubt that it's corruption that's spontaneously happening after the first launch as well.
How sure are you that your system is clean?
One thing that immediately comes to mind is the potential that the machine is infected, and that malware is modifying the launcher files on the first run.
100% sure, i play daily csgo and dota 2 never has issue need to verify everytimes run the game.

Anyway, in terms of fixing things. I don't doubt Steam in that files in the game folder are being changed. From the description, whatever is being modified is likely why the launcher won't start.
I could provide you with hashes from an intact Steam installation (or the other way around with you providing hashes), and we could compare these to determine 'what' exactly is being altered / try digging into what's modifying those files.
It's mostly a question of why they're being altered, and what's altering them.
Actually, one more posibility that I can think of.
Usually when an AV quarantines / deletes files, you'd get some form of error on startup. (e.g, rather than a silent failure -- usually there's popups) It's possible that an AV is wiping (completely eliminating) something that the launcher relies on.
In that case, you may be able to find it in your quarantine folders, or in the AV's logs.
Going into this on the assumption that something is either completely missing, or changed, though. [based on Steam Verify]
i dont use any AV, if you know ghost spectre OS version. this one i used for few years and no issue

Generally wouldn't recommend using those third-party / stripped down Windows ISO's [in that a lot of trust is being placed on the person that builds them]. Far as the lack of an AV, or Windows Defender: shouldn't be touching the game.
I'm not sure if Steam records a log of which files are reacquired, yet I'll look into that now.

If you're thrown into the intro on any account that you're attempting. That's not the one that contained your character -- presuming you have the world selection right.
Basically, you can stop at that stage, far as testing goes of that login, and move onto the next.
Anyway, just for verifying what you're seeing, I ran a Steam Integrity Check on the game here. Mind you, this is an installation that's routinely run {was recently launched}. This is the primary reason that I'm worried on what you're seeing.
It's abnormal, despite what the Steam FAQ claims on this topic, for Tower of Fantasy to not verify all files successfully -- unless something is being externally altered.

Yes, I'd advise opening a discussion with support. Far as your character UID, I did see this in several of your screenshots prior on Discord. You'll need to provide more details than this {support will let you know what extra is needed for proving ownership}, and if there's any chance that it's your Google Account that was used -- you'd also want to see if you can get aid in recovery from your carrier, or to concurrently contact Google.
That said, until it's known what's going on with those integrity checks failing (on Steam), I'd exercise caution with your system as a whole. Worst case would be that you have an active infection on the machine.
how to change server without logout or exit game?

Just got a new PC and I'm unnable to launch the game after installing it. When I launch it, it plays the start up sound but the screen is black and I can't do anything about it, it closes after 2 minutes but it remains in task manager and launcher still considers the game as running and I can't even shut it down through task manager somehow.

Please check for the existence of crash-dump subfolders under "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\Saved\Crashes". [Or Saved_Steam if the Steam variant of the launcher]

Since the client closes after exactly 120-seconds, this is a watchdog event and the rendering thread is likely hung / stalled. When you say that's a new machine, assuming this is one that came with a preinstalled OS and software?
Update: Solved. IGP disabled, monitor moved over to discrete GPU. dGPU -> IGP copy / transfer created the issue.
Playing under DirectX 12, or 11? First recommendation that I'd have is trying changing which API is being used by the engine (through the launcher), and seeing if one or the other performs better or worse.
Stuttering could also be the result of Raytracing. If 11 runs significantly smoother, it'd certainly be worth checking if disabling the Raytracing features {under Settings -> Display} helps.
Machine wise, wouldn't expect you to be having issues. You mentioned that it's getting worse over time?
If it's getting worse, I'd take a look at the graphics card {clocks / temp} under a tool such as GPU-Z and making sure that everything seem in check.
One thing that can cause stuttering is constant clock-changes {downclocking / thermal throttling}, which if the thermal paste is wearing out and temps are increasing, could certainly do that.
im playing on directx 12, i dont use raytracing
temps are not an issue, gpu is usually around 50 - 55 celcius and cpu 60 celcius, both temps when playing tof
i'll try changing the api to directx 11 to see how it performs

Another possibility is if you're running updates routinely and you're getting pushed new display drivers. Generally I've not had issues with Tower of Fantasy (stuttering wise) on AMD hardware, though.
But, that's always possible that older drivers might run better, and that could explain some sudden change.
After any driver update, on that topic -- the driver's shader cache will be wiped out. This causes a temporary period of stuttering until all shaders are re-compiled. <--- yet this should be temporary and not permanent.
DirectX 11 and 12 will also have different shader caches created. So if you change from one to the other, expect some initial stuttering.

Usually a big tell of something being wrong on an AMD card is if there's a large delta between the hotspot, yet that seems fine.

if you have extra antivirus outside windows defender, will need to add whole tof game folder into its exclusion, restart pc, and do file repair via standard launcher or steam client verify if using steam.
you were using fast forward story, that's normal, you need to return back to older zones and play those zone main quest.

In jist, the Steam version of the game relies on Steam Ingame Overlay for all shop purchases. If the overlay is not functioning, you won't see the popups from Steam to complete a purchase.

Just following up on Gespenst's mention above, and to make sure that was clear. If crash dumps exist, those would be our main go to here -- since the game opens up briefly, then closes, unless you're referring to the launcher (and not the game window), odds are pretty strong that the engine produced a crash-dump.
If those don't exist, then the next best bet would be the engine log. If that doesn't exist, then you might find an application error recorded in the Windows Event Viewer. {though I'd suspect / and am hoping you'll find a dump in this case}
Usually 'lag' is more on the CPU/GPU side of things than storage. That S21 has a Snapdragon 888 and a healthy amount of memory, so I'd honestly expect pretty decent performance here.
Whenever you're saying lag, do you mean execution delay of skills, or more on the stuttering side? Probably the first thing to do would be checking if the phone is in a performance mode and all power management is OFF. Outside that you might need to dial back the ingame settings to get the performance level to your liking.

Reducing performance demands and framerate caps might help in that they can reduce the temperature of the SoC. At lower temps, the device might not malfunction.
However, an S21 as a whole is a pretty capable device. I wouldn't expect it to be restarting at all on a fresh install minus perhaps hardware damage / defect.
Anyway, main thing that I'd do if I was in your shoes is to see if the carrier can help.
Especially if it was bought through them.
A lot of the time phone stores will offer either a trade-in, or replacement, or to minimally let you 'test' another device in store.
aka, to see if it's that device specifically that's the problem here, or something with their image.

The remaining time estimate looks low in that screenshot. Assuming the device isn't loaded when that image was displayed, and assuming nothing is drawing down the battery -- battery is likely near end of life / needs to be replaced.
This could actually tie in with the issues that you've been having with the phone spontaneously resetting. Battery could be producing a lot of the heat that you're feeling, or if there's some hardware fault -- that may have weakened the battery in turn.
Or, you could just have gotten unlucky and the battery only lasted a few years. That does happen sometimes too.
Either way, it's better to pay attention to the remaining time estimate than the charge percentage. As batteries age the amount of time that they can power a device drops. The charge percentage will typically still go up to 100% as displayed in software, yet that isn't a representation of the battery health.
In jist: Android is basing its judgement of what's low battery on more than the charge percentage.

"80" is guaranteed to produce an SSR, and that SSR has a higher probability of being the one outlined on a given banner -- however, it's not assured to be the promo SSR {this still falls down to random luck, even if the odds are higher}.
What is guaranteed is that you're building up a special currency for the banner, which you can use to purchase that specific weapon in the special currency shop. In otherwords, if you keep going a bit further you are assured to get the brush. {Just make sure to spend whatever you build up before the end of the cycle when it's converted to a non-promo / standard banner currency}

No, this is not normal. It should have days of power in standby, if not a full week. And hours of sustained normal-use.
Since you recently reset the phone to factory (wiped settings and software), it's unlikely that some background task is draining the battery too.
Battery is likely on the way out. It needs to be replaced.

Since the device is compact, the temperature will generally be fairly close to the rest of the device.
40c isn't too hot in this respect for a phone battery.
Anyway, either something you have on there is draining the battery -- which I doubt, since it was cleaned off {everything removed}, or something is wrong with the battery or the device itself.
That's a good troubleshooting step incase what was on the flash was damaged.
Either way, what you're seeing is not-normal.
Full charge, even with a high discharge rate, wouldn't instantly shut off (or even quickly).

Low battery would be based on discharge rate and the voltage level reported to the device.
My recommendation is honestly to ignore whatever any software says far as battery health.
Those applications may claim that the battery is healthy, yet what you're describing says otherwise.
With the image on the left, notice the remaining time reported.
That's what the low battery level and battery saver recommendations is coming from.
That estimate should be (on a normal device) a day when mostly idle, if not days plural.
The difference that I see at a glance in the images is that one has an estimate, the other does not.
When the software factors in the time estimate, it declares battery levels low.
Without that factored in, it doesn't.
The estimate went up from 2 hours 5 minutes to 2 hours 29 minutes
Both of those estimates for an idle device are "low".
When you open the settings, use the device, change pages, you're generating load.
Small levels of load difference are changing the estimate.
Again though, this is "not normal". That battery is on its way out.

To give an example. I personally have an S8+. It's over 6 years old at this point, and it's on a non-clean install. (an old install with tons of applications)
If I open the battery stats, the estimated life is 2-days.
More specifically, 2 days, 17 hours.

Anyway, that device needs maintenance. I'm not sure that just replacing the battery will eliminate the crashing, resets, and other issues that you're having. Something is hardware defective though, that much I'm fairly confident of.
I'd strongly advise checking if you're under any type of coverage, and seeing if you can get it replaced.

You mentioned earlier that the device shuts off almost immediately on a full charge. I'm not sure that I believe this third party application over the built in Android app.
It may simply be that the third party application has less data available / hasn't run for long enough to gather sufficient telemetry.
Just incase this comes up again in the future for any reason -- most likely the missing bit is that you'd need to perform a "repair" or verification of the game's files. Your AntiVirus may have eliminated a critical file, or interfered with a game update by holding onto files, and or somehow influenced the integrity of the game's assets.
It could've also just been some other form of latent corruption. Usually a repair (from the launcher, Steam, or Epic Games) will suffice without a full reinstall.
If you've already tried all logins that you can think of, and no email that you believe you used to register initially works -- then your best bet at this point would be to dig through whatever records that you have (screenshots, email history, etc). See if you can locate your character UID {from a screenshot}, some history of account creation, and or records (from bank statements) of purchases in the game.
If you can find an email of account registration, then make sure that you're trying that email -- or, in the case of Google Accounts, that you're also trying the Google sign-in icon within the game (mobile) or from the launcher (PC) at the bottom of the login screen. e.g, incase you may have linked or otherwise used the external sign-in provider. [the external sign-in and gmail (Google as plain-old-email) may be treated entirely separately in terms of game accounts]
Should trial and error fail, and you still cannot locate the account that was used, then you'll need to #game-support and request assistance in locating your character. You'll need to provide proof of ownership in a situation like this, so it'd be a good idea to dig through your records for as many bits of information on your account as you can find {Customer Support will let you know the specifics of what they'll need}. -- The more you can provide, the easier it'll be for them to locate your account though.

PlayStation version of Tower of Fantasy is a separate game run by a different publisher. It has its own servers, social media presence, staff, and may deviate in development as well.
Tower of Fantasy Global (the version for the Discord here), is specifically for Mobile (Android / iOS) and PC (Windows).
To be more specific -- if your friend doesn't have a Windows PC to play on, they might be able to join you on Mobile.

No officially supported method to change the cursor scale. However, if you're on an extremely high resolution display -- dropping the Windows Desktop Resolution would have a side effect of making the cursor larger.
For instance, if you're on a laptop with a 4K panel, and drop the res to 1440p, that would make the cursor easier to see.
Since this falls more or less under an accessibility feature -- do feel free to drop #932914069395091456 . It's certainly something that would effect more people than just yourself here.

I do see that you ran Steam as admin, so I'd ask that you try disabling HAGS and giving the system a reboot.
Also, whenever you launched Steam "as admin", are you certain that you completely closed Steam beforehand?
If not, then the admin launch will simply bring the prior instance (not ran as admin) into the foreground.
An easy way to know would be if Tower of Fantasy threw a UAC prompt on launching the game. No prompt would mean that Steam is elevated. Likely easier / less hassle, and more reliable, to just shut off the HAGS feature though.
Disabling HAGS seemed to do the trick. It all happened when I moved to Win 11. Go figure.

~25 gb for update process since most of the time it is redownloading whole game before copy pasta to older files.
This is user preference really. I prefer 3-button navigation on phones.
Anyway, the 3-button nav should keep the navigation buttons on screen. The tradeoff is that it consumes display space.

What features are we talking about here?
If it's custom post processing at the Android presentation layer, things like color correction or sharpening, I don't suspect this will pose a problem. Just like using NVidia / AMD driver settings wouldn't be considered tampering. However, I'm guessing what you're trying to do here -- so this wouldn't be a pass persay.
When in doubt, the recommendation would be to #game-support and explain what you're trying to do.
One thing that I'd warn about is the same thing as custom Windows ISO's. You're putting a lot of faith in the person(s) who are creating the custom image that you're using. There's always the potential of malicious code being slipped in these, so the general recommendation would be to use a stock image always.

To clarify a bit: Each variant of Tower of Fantasy (Steam, Epic Games, Standalone), has its own launcher and engine config and cache paths. They'll behave independently of eachother with their own set of stored settings.
It's possible to sign into the same account between Steam and Standalone as long as the sign-in method overlaps, though.
Whenever you say that it's crashing the laptop, what type of crash are we talking about here? For instance, is the entire laptop going down?

Hello! a friend has a problem, apparently his PC is frezzing when he opens the simulacrums menu, only in that screen, what do you think it could be? Ill five u the specs of his PC after I can get that info
PC freezing meaning that the entire system freezes? Does it recover from this? Does the monitor eventually go blank?
Anything else that he observes, such as audio looping?
If the system eventually restarts {after a delay}, then it's likely a BSOD -- where the bluescreen / error just isn't printed to the display.
Since there's likely going to be some back and forth, have them check under %SYSTEMROOT%\Minidump\, and see if there's any .dmp files in there that line up with the freezes.
-- If there's any dmp files in there, and you can get them to me (over DM's), then that'll get us a lead probably. (the more the better, to see if the reported fault is consistent)
If possible, it'd help if you can get them on the Discord too. Anyway, opening the menus tends to increase graphics load {descriptively this sounds like a hardware fault}, though it's interesting that it's exclusively the Simulacra menu. -- Is there any other place in the game, menus, actions, etc, that can trigger the freeze?
Actually, on a longshot -- is this a machine with integrated graphics {and an Intel IGP specifically}? I recall a lot of reports of Intel driver crashes on opening certain menus in the past ... though most of these were fixed with later driver updates.

Typically those didn't take down the machine though, and it'd recover.

Far as running the battery down to zero with the device shutting off, I get that you're experimenting and doing a full discharge test -- try to avoid that if you can though.

5700G, with I assume no discrete GPU installed. Memory is at JEDEC speeds {not an overclocked kit-- which is good}, that'd be Vega based / wouldn't be expected to have issues with Tower of Fantasy.

Of the three client renditions for Windows {Standalone, Epic Games, and Steam}, only the Epic Client / Launcher is locked login wise.
The Steam Client can use non Steam accounts for sign-in.
Beyond this though, you can also bind a game-account to another sign-in provider {a game-account can have multiple sign-in methods}. So for example, if you wanted to use the Epic Client (which is locked to Epic for sign-in), you could simply bind your Epic account with another variant of the launcher beforehand. {or vice versa, no direction constraint -- you're never permanently locked in with Tower of Fantasy to a given sign-in method}
Duplicate name after server merged. All player have same name always get extra symbol #a-z depend how much duplicate name. But you will get reward rename card. Check inventory

First time with a AMD Radeon GPU. Why does it randomly spike 100% then back to 0?
Just making sure, you're describing GPU load here and not the progress bar / loading screens, right?
If GPU load, what are you using to monitor the load?
Reason that I'm asking is that the measure displayed through AMD's ADL library may not line up with what's reported from Windows, or other methods -- such as the unified metric via DirectX. The ADL reporting has been known to be not-accurate in some cases, and that's why in tools such as MSI-Afterburner, you'll find a checkbox under settings / properties, on the General tab, to "Enable unified GPU usage monitoring".
Essentially, let's start with what you're using to see the the GPU's metrics. The 100-0 jumps might be erroneous reporting.
For users on NVidia Geforce 16xx series cards who are experiencing crashes whilest in Tower of Fantasy on R551 branch drivers {e.g, 551.52, 551.61} during streaming gameplay {with any software that relies on NVENC}. Also may impact other games.
NVidia has released a hotfix {available here}, which seems to resolve the issues: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5525
If the errors happen each update, and if the errors are resolved by verifying the game's integrity -- the suspect would be that your machine may be unstable or your drive may be failing. Good starting point would be to inspect S.M.A.R.T. records with a tool such as "Crystal Disk Info", and to check the Windows Event Viewer (system section) for any disk related warnings at the time of the update.

If you need any help with that, such as interpreting what you see -- feel free to shoot me some screenshots over DM's. There might be records that hint at pre-failure, and that'd be the hope here. If not, then the next prime suspect would be memory going {since any corruption in RAM can be propagated to disk during the update process}.

if only for this game, check if you have other antivirus outside windows defender, add the the game to its exclusion.
also check if you have extra firewall app, make sure the game exe is not blocked or added to its outgoing connection rule.
try to run the game once more, when the game just closed, check windows event viewer.
windows search bar -> type event viewer -> check at windows logs -> application or system ( usually this game related log is placed there )

Making your address static, if you mean paying for a static IP from the provider -- might give you resilience against disconnections in the case that you know with certainty that the reason you're disconnecting is that the physical medium / link is going down [and that you're getting a new address on retrain]. You'd want to be sure that's the problem first.
If the ISP is losing link (talking DSL desync / retrain, etc, here), you'd first want to see if the ISP can get your line stable before considering what you can do to survive link failure without dropping in a game.
More specifically, there's a multitude of reasons that you might be unable to reconnect, or get dropped. The problem could be path related for example, which a static IP won't help with.
Could you give a description of everything that you observe when starting the game?
When you launch the game on Steam -- I assume that the launcher comes up, that you're able to sign-in via the launcher, etc. Yet more specifically after you click to "launch" Tower of Fantasy from within the launcher:
-- The launcher minimizes.
-- Does a game window get displayed? (even if a split second) Do you hear any 'sound' playing in the background? Is the game window black, or does anything show such as the Hotta splash?
-- The launcher restores, and I presume that the status on Steam states that the game has closed right-after.
Looking for something akin to that.
The reason that I'm asking, is to infer if there's a chance that engine logs are being generated.
Sometimes what's observed can give a hint to the cause as well.
The third option describes what happens when I want to enter the game.
This was intended to be a timeline of events when you launch the game. On the second part, do you ever see a game window displayed?

Gotcha, that's what I feared here. Could you check under "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\" and provide a screenshot of the contents of this folder? Suspect that you're going to find a folder named 29093, and a file named "intl_auth.txt" with nothing else in there.
To get to that folder, you can either paste the path into the top bar of a Windows File Explorer window, or do something like this:

Paste in: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\
-- Confirm the run prompt.
If we're lucky, you'll find a folder named "Saved" and "Saved_Steam", yet the suspicion is that you won't -- since you're not seeing the game window.
In fact, I already deleted the game after the third attempt to download it from Epic games. I can't provide a screenshot. What you say was exactly that, there was nothing in the file.
Removing the game won't remove the contents of AppData, unless you manually were to have wiped that path.
Is that an older Windows installation that you've had for some time?

Generally speaking, each time that a situation like this comes up, the cause tends to be a damaged OS install, in some way. Often, the problem can be resolved by doing an inplace reinstall of Windows ontop of the current installation. e.g, producing a Windows Installation Media, and reinstalling Windows 10 ontop of Windows 10, or Windows 11 ontop of Windows 11, via the upgrade-install option.
Do you remember before you cleared out that path, if there was more than what I listed above?
Basically, if there's engine logs, the chances are very high that I can help you find out why the game won't launch. In the absence of logs, much more difficult / the recommendation there is typically to try to repair the OS with an upgrade install.

If you're running any "custom" Windows Image {a stripped down distibution}, like Tiny11, that can cause problems here too.

Reinstalling Windows fresh -- always fixes the issue. Most of the time the inplace upgrade-install helps though too.
It's very hard to say what the cause is, since in addition to no logs, you'll likely find that the Windows Event Viewer / application and system tabs -- are empty.
No launch failures logged.

Reinstalling the game won't wipe out the launcher or client caches respectively. Have you tried flushing the contents of %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\ ?

Usually the problem is on the client end per issues like this {where credentials don't get re-written for whatever reason-}, which is what the above folder would contain. If that doesn't do the trick, there's a few more that I'll have you try clearing out (for the Standalone and Steam launcher).

In that folder specifically, yes. The contents will be re-generated automatically on the next launch of the game.
Just be sure that the launcher and game-client are fully closed before doing so.
Now, if that's insufficient {if you still immediately are presented with a login exception}, then please clear the following two folders as well:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\tof_launcher\
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\tof_launcher_Steam\
Similarly, make sure everything is closed before touching the files. They'll be regenerated on the next start of each launcher. You'll be forced to re-sign-in completely with those cleared.

If the raytracing option is missing, that generally means that you're running under DirectX 11 and not 12. Check in the launcher and verify that DirectX 12 is the selected API version.
Of course, this assumes that your hardware is capable of raytracing too. What are you running on?

Normally the launcher would default to DirectX 12, if it's detected as available. The only exception is with the Epic Games variant of the launcher. Are you by chance on Epic?
4060 should, though RT performance will be on the lower end without DLSS.

Not the correct folder. Click in the topmost path field in that File Explorer window, and paste in the paths provided. "AppData" is a hidden folder by default.

Anti Aliasing won't be needed if you're using DLSS. DLSS inherently will smooth the edges of objects.
Or rather, DLSS includes an AA effect as part of the upscaling.
It does let me choose which AA I should use but would have been better if it gave me an option to increase it up to 8x but still thanks. BTW which DLSS option is better DLAA or HIGH quality?
DLAA will produce higher quality, since the source will be native res. All other forms render at a reduced resolution and upscale to native.
However, I would step into mirroria as a test first, and see how performance fairs.
I suspect (depends on your monitor resolution), that you're going to find that you need DLSS.

At maxout settings I still reach about 80-90 fps still better than genshin cap lock 60 fps.
Far as maxed out settings go, RT isn't heavily used in most areas. That's why I mentioned Mirroria as where you'll want to go to see a worst-case benchmark.
e.g, it's common for the game to achieve high fps on modern gen hardware anywhere but there. But, performance is also very relative to the monitor used (some people being on 1440p or 4K displays}.
I did played the global version of the game but to me it just didn't feel smooth as the CN does I think the game is more optimised in CN than the global one

Not sure on this one. Keep in mind that even if the OS's feature to move a game / app from internal storage to SD Card works correctly, the SD's read speeds might impact loading times in the game, or otherwise degrade performance.
I've never personally tried, so I'd wait until you're in a place where you have access to WIFI (to not burn your data).
SD Cards and devices can have radically different read speeds though. High end SD Cards can easily do 100mb/s transfer speed, whereas lower end cards might cap out at 12mb/s or lower.

Definitely go for the G-Gear (5600X) with the RTX 3000 series. The other systems are effectively at end of life already, or very close to such. EOL status for a videocard is important, since eventually NVidia will cut you off from drivers. Once you no longer get driver updates, you're more or less on your own far as game compatibility goes.
Additionally, to upgrade from any of these machines will require swapping the motherboard, processor, and RAM. {close to everything} So, if you're going into old hardware, it's a good idea to go for a platform such as AM4 that's fairly recent. -- You'll be relatively locked-in without substantial expense.
This isn't with respect to if it's a good deal, not aware of the market situation for hardware over there. Definitely worth shopping around, yet always prefer newer systems if possible for lifespan you'll get out of it. Just like MightyCribz hinted at.

If you find that the software that was pre-loaded on the phone is "unstable" / did not work, definitely make sure that you report this to whoever you bought the device from. You should expect e.g, that a phone from a carrier's store works out of the box.

What type of graphics hardware are you running on? I usually have seen clipping like that when occlusion queries aren't working correctly, and when people have messed with the FOV calculation in the ini's by hand.

Right, graphics drivers can / updates 'might' help with artifacts like those, assuming it's a bug.
You might also find that going backwards (downgrading), may help on earlier generation hardware. For instance, a lot of people have been having issues on R551 on the 16xx cards, even after that hotfix that was pinned.

Best way to put it is that NVidia (also AMD and Intel) do the bulk of their testing with their latest generation products. The older ones tend to get a bit neglected towards the end of their life.

Newer doesn't necessarily always mean better with drivers, or like the saying goes -- if it ain't broken, don't fix it.
Though as long as you're under hardware support, 'eventually' you could expect that each company will fix said bugs when enough users report them.
It's not so much intentional, as that whatever generation of hardware the developers at a company are using, the better the odds that your experience with drivers will be problem free so to speak.

Tried Original to Smooth and vice versa.
You'll only notice visuals changes from changing Display Settings if you're CPU bound.
Put another way, a computer is only as strong as its weakest link.
View Distance, Vegetation Detail may have an impact. Other elements such as texture or material quality won't reduce CPU load at all.
If on the flipside you were "GPU" bound, then those settings would have an accompanied framerate bump.

Since you've mentioned Google, just be absolutely sure -- have you tried signing in both via the "Google" icon (during sign-in) with the external Google sign-in provider in addition to using your Google account as "plain-old-email" (e.g, gmail)?

How long ago was your account used roughly? Do you remember if you played Tower of Fantasy back before "Vera" (2.0) was released?
I've been playing since the beginning of the game, stopped a few months ago
If your last sign-in was that far back, then this was before Vera's changes to the binding system went in -- that's the relevance there. After 2.0, it became much more difficult to re-bind a game-account or otherwise transfer / move it.
If it's post Vera, then that's far less likely, and the cause tends to be more towards being on the wrong account. (I know that you're certain that your account is correct here though)
Last question to ask before I wind up directing you over to Customer Support. Is this on the PC / Windows Client?

Ruby would've been post-Vera, which makes account hijack far less likely.
Try closing down the game and launcher (completely), then wiping the contents of all of the following folders just for sanity's sake:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\tof_launcher\
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\tof_launcher_Steam\
Sometimes, (rarely) there's been situations where the launcher doesn't update the client's credentials.
The above folders in AppData won't be cleared via a reinstall, so let's wipe them for the sake of getting the game into a factory-reset state like a first-run.
If that still doesn't work {after a fresh sign-in}, then unfortunately you'll need to #game-support to get an investigation rolling into your character(s). Or, to make sure that you're on the right account.

How do i change the settings that ToF can use both CPU and GPU?
There aren't really many settings that are CPU specific, though there are some options such as view distance where upping the view distance may increase CPU load.
The Direct X API version {11 or 12} might also provide better performance if CPU constrained, yet that's not guaranteed since it depends on the core count and characteristics of the processor.
It's important to note that using DX12 isn't guaranteed to yield better performance on older hardware, so that's not something I'd like to commit to saying here (it's best to test and see). Older hardware tends to run better on 11, and if there's GPU choke (if the GPU is already hitting full load / being fed with data) it may make no difference too.
@radiant edge yeah the bug during cutscenes is still here after driver update, I'll just pray it gets fixed with the next update
I tried switching from DX 11 to DX 12 and I no longer experience any crashes... but the performance is slightly better than DX 11.

In the past, you ran the non Steam version of Tower of Fantasy, and that was working -- right? Is this the same system as last year?
Basically trying to discern if this is specific to Steam.
Also, as with the last time around -- possible that you can give a description of what you're seeing? For instance:
-- Click "Play" button for Tower of Fantasy on Steam.
-- Sign into account.
-- Click "Launch" within the Tower of Fantasy launcher.
-- Launcher minimizes to the system tray.
-- Client window pops up, yet is a black window {nothing shown}, closing shortly thereafter. {Alternately, no game window pops up}
-- Launcher restores momentarily, then closes.
-- Steam reports that the game is no longer running.
Just curious since I wasn't able to find what type of hardware you're running on: which GPU / drivers are you using?
Was the issue impacting all cutscenes? Or just some of them?
Though yes, it's definitely possible to have more (or less) issues on a specific API version. One may be better than the other for any given machine, so it's best to experiment. If it's newer hardware that's still under driver support, and we see a correlation (the same cards in reports), we might be able to steer NVidia towards a reproduction and getting it fixed.
GPU is an integrated Vega 7 from the Ryzen 5 2600G, official AMD driver version 24.2.1
It affected all dialogue (not video/animated iirc) cutscenes during the Ming Jing character quest
You mentioned back then that manually modified FOV settings could cause this issue, and while I did manually modify the graphics configurations files, I did not mess with FOV specifically

It's definitely worth trying. Just be aware that there's some regressions in 24.xx effecting Vulkan games.

i download ToF using G Space since Huawei doesn't have google play stor.
try to check if the google play service or google play games or even the google play store itself is up to date.
think the play service already merged with play store or play games, so try to find those and if there's an update, update them 1st, restart device and try again.
not sure if gspace is usable enough for gaming.... or have trouble with certain title like tower of fantasy
if gspace won't work with the game, no matter how you try to trobuleshoot it , might need an alternative, maybe gbox ?

usually a complete logout from steam client and complete shutdown of the steam client will fix it.
just login again normally on steam client and try again

i was attacking with mimi, then swap to rubilia for discharge (had enough for 2) and all the energy was consumed at once

Hello, I would like to report a big problem that really bothered me, because I spent 9 hours downloading this game. In short... I have the game downloaded, but when I enter my Email and my "Correct" password, the game does not accept it login and a message on the top screen appears saying: <Network error, please check your network connection>, But even so I have a very good connection, so I appreciate any help or tips, I'll be checking tomorrow, because I'm very tired and I have a lot of problems, thank you for your attention.

Hello there is a bug that I couldn't talk to the bot for side mission ( the mission was to talk the bot) and i reported it to help center and it says i should try re- accept the misson.
But I can't find a button to cancel the misson( I can only hide it)

How do I cancel the side mission and re- accept it?
terminal -> missions -> find the mission in question, thats where the cancel button should be if it's there

is that on mobile device ? try switching wifi network or use your mobile data.
make sure to close the game , and restart your device 1st.
do you have 3rd party app firewall or antivirus ?
if yes, will need to add exclusion for the whole game folder into said antivirus and also allow the app through said 3rd party app firewall.
else, do a firewall rule reset ( make sure to write down any custom rule which was made before ).
and then try using google / cloudflare dns, 1.1.1.1 / 8.8.8.8 at network adapter setting.
a modem restart can also help so the isp can give you fresh / better ip.

Temporarily solved on my own - It seems the issue is cause of miscommunication between our PC client and server. I had this game installed on my other device, there the enemy loaded properly and was able to progress. I assume the other option if no secondary device would be reinstall the whole game to solve this issue 💀
that would be cache issue rather full reinstall, unless it is on mobile.

Just of curiosity, since we're talking about the PC client here, and swapping to mobile worked. Did you run an integrity check of the files / a verification from the launcher, Steam, or Epic?
But yes, I suspect that you're right in your assessment that a reinstall may do the trick.
There might be something off files wise on your install. Could also be something network related to just that machine, though that seems less likely. {unless you were on mobile data when things worked}
