If you are using infinite pass login, report it to [e-mail] inc ase there was wrong verification process happened.
If not, usually it won't last long and just fix itself eventually.

For keep getting dced, if you're on device, switch between wifi and mobile data, see which one is more stable.
If you're on pc :

• restart modem router

either this is a bug which is quite common or the game simply place larger space requirement. ( since your space is near real space usage )
the real space usage for device as current patch :

• ~16 GB for the whole game
• ~5 GB for game operational
• ~16 GB for game update ( max size of udpate )
  so that's around ~37 GB, since your free space is near real space usage, the game simply ask for more space.

not sure which device model you have, the one with 6 GB RAM or 8 GB RAM.
can try to clear gaame cache at android setting -> manage app -> TOF.
not game files, just the cache.
test again in game, if her close up still crash your device, disable discharge animation and in game setting or simply not using her simulcara.
few probabilities :

• your device is 6GB RAM model, and it crash because of running out of memory ( specially if you're playing at domain9 / innar, since at those place, the game will have larger memory usage )
• broken game files which require reinstall, it is uncommon, but can happen.
• check your device temperature, if too high, reduce all ingame display setting while trying to maintain 30-60 fps.

due to fast forward story being implemented for new player to quickly reach newest area, some of them ended up effecting older account who haven't reach fast forwarded area by the time patch implemented.

if you're still lagging at raid, something happened between your isp and the server.
if your isp somehow using cloudflare dns as default ( like a setting inside modem ), you will have lots of problem because it is under heavy maintenance.

if somehow your isp still having problem, can try to tether using your mobile data instead until your isp can solve the problem or their traffic toward the server is fixed.

Just to add a bit more towards Windows 11 compatibility: If the concern is the anti-cheat related BSOD's that were prominent back in the early Vera and pre-Vera days -- most of those cases were resolved with the release of Windows 11 22H2.

Stability on Windows 11 today is as good as it was / is on Windows 10.

if this is your 1st time trying to play the game, recommend to use steam.
the standard launcher have and odd issue regarding download which often freeze after certain progress.
it will continue after some time.
it is annoying but unknown why such thing happened.
note : this is outside any internet connection issue like sudden ip change from isp or isp instability toward download server.

u can have 2 seperated accs under this email because u have your google acc and the email for creating a LI acc. You have to look for google support in that case. Hi, I tried lowering to graphics setting to the lowest but still ToF takes alot of ram and after the update fix didn't resolved the "Unable To Connect To Server" message. I'm playing on PC with 8GB memory, GTX 1050Ti and a A8 6750K, yes its an old PC.

dont worry, u have still good hardware for the game but the ram issue happens often. Even ppl with RTX and 16-32 GB ram ^^ There are some troubleshootings to lower it but I saw that after recent update it happens often again with players.
...well even 8GB is kinda the line in between, I would pass this to Eliya or other Players with RAM know-how. Most of the time I try to repair game over launcher, check for driver update, reset my configs under appdata, switching from d11 to d12 and back again...

Conceptually this can be smart, in that the contents of memory are very compressible, and that compression is usually faster than a slow mechanical drive. ... To do that, open an administrative Powershell:

Windows Key + R
Type in: powershell
Hold down "SHIFT" and "CTRL" keys, then click "OK" / confirm the run-prompt.

Accept the UAC elevation prompt that came up.

In the administrative powershell that's now been opened, enter the following:
Disable-MMAgent -mc

-- Restart Windows.

Anything that you can remove from the machine (software running in the background), might also help. Though ultimately, if there's any impact on loading speed- then you're on the right track and more RAM is the proper solution.

If it's a 6th Gen Intel Core, the specs look more than capable of running the game without issues. Minus perhaps the memory front. A8 would be weaker and make the impact of memory more severe, since Windows memory compression also steals CPU time -- which the game needs to complete that load in.

It all boils down to how fast the loading bar is moving, and how fast the load screen is progressing. If you're willing (targetted at MightyCribs), I'd also like to grab an Engine Log from you (over DM's) of a failed load one of the times that you're dropped on zone change. Often the log is enough to determine if it's on the connection side or hardware.

Disconnection on load in (if it's the case of loading speed being too slow), tends to be memory exhaustion -- correct.

That said, some people can load in with 8GB. Not all systems are identical though, and that's a big IF of what's resident on the machine / how much is actually usable.

For instance, if that's an AMD A8, then a big question that comes up is if there's an IGP reservation -- and what that's set at in BIOS.

8GB of RAM could be e.g, 6-7GB post reservation by the IGP. Throw on Windows 10 / 11's 10% memory reservation, and things are very-very tight.

Those are some pretty large loading times- if they're consistently in the minutes, likely this is indeed a performance related issue.

Far as adjusting Windows' memory management settings there's absolutely no risk to doing that. In the worst case where you find that disabling Memory Compression makes matters worse, you can simply re-enable the feature with "Enable-MMAgent -mc".. If you're still having issues after that, feel free to shoot me a DM. Likely will need to collect more on what you're running on.

-- Since the machine is from 2017 and judging by those load times, assume you're likely also on a mechanical disk drive. {this will exacerbate any out of memory situation} To be clear there's always options here {the ability to upgrade}, and since you're on a desktop -- throwing in some more RAM or an SSD is fortunately relatively cheap.

e.g, if the desktop-res is 1280x780 or anything else, that's what the game will use. Just be aware that it's horizontal dominant FOV axis in the calculation, ultra-wide resolutions will have a truncated top and bottom.

I note that you mentioned being on a low spec rig, so I doubt you've a discrete graphics card in there. However, since I've seen a-lot of reports on this from NVidia users on R545 -- are you by chance on that driver branch?

Anyway, if D3D initialization fails, then probably a display driver crash of some sort happened. The system recovered and drivers were reset or you wouldn't have had a screen afterwards .. however, something went wrong following the TDR and the recovery wasn't complete.

-- If it does happen to be that you're on an NVidia card, reverting to R537 is what I'd recommend here. We're aware that something is awry in the latest driver branch, and have been pestering NVidia on this. {though no definite solution yet other than reverting to older drivers}

if the device display setting capable of changing between HD / UHD / 1080 /etc, test is with different display setting.

Hello, after the update my game is stuck on the loading screen at 90% and then i get sent back to the server select screen over and over again. This continues to happen even after restarting etc.

• delete your gpu shader cache, each manufacturer have their own, so you have to google it.
• find and delete these folder contents :

It turns out that I installed the game on two different cell phones (both from Samsung), the games work perfectly, the dubbing works too, except for the one in Portuguese, when I put on the PT-BR version the game removes the dubbing (being silent, the effects and music works), with all characters remaining mute, and this occurs everywhere, both in gameplay and when we select the simulacrum.

That said, it sounds like this may not be a crash, and more so getting dropped back to server select. If your friend is not being completely ejected out of the game (to the Windows Desktop), then they won't find any dumps in that location.

If they're going straight from a cutscene back to the server select, then the next question would be if there's any associated prompts shown before this happens.

My laptop fan is too loud when I play the game in 60 fps.

In high setting with 45 fps,it is quiet and but it is not really smooth.

But whenever I turn the fps on 60 the fan gets loud.

Fan speed is proportional to temperatures, where essentially running the game at 45fps consumes less power and produces less heat than 60fps.

It wouldn't be recommended to try to turn down the fanspeed directly, and instead if you want the machine quieter -- the way to do that would be to see if you can get down the temperatures. If it's an older laptop, it may be time for some maintenance (a deep cleaning and re-paste).

If it's a newer machine, counter intuitive as it is: A cooling pad may reduce noise. Elevating the laptop or directing more air at the intake, even if that adds more fans, may result in the small internal fans in the notebook's cooling assembly running at lower RPM.

Short of that, the other option is to drop graphical settings to try to reduce power draw to similar to the 45fps, at 60.

Another option if you have Thunderbolt is to go the "eGPU" route {basically adding a desktop graphics card to reduce the laptop's heat}. Though I'd try a cooling pad first, new paste, and power limiting.

Another thing worth mentioning is that a lot of laptops have a shared cooling design, meaning where you have one heat pipe assembly that runs between the CPU and GPU. Fan-speed on these laptops is based on the greater of the two between CPU and GPU temps, rather than operating fanspeed based on each-part*, individually,* with separate fans for the CPU and GPU.

The CPU in this type of setup tends to run hotter than the GPU, where the GPU kicks up the temps of the CPU. Power limiting the CPU 'might' drop fanspeed without reducing game performance.

apart from the one time, i haven't rly had many issues with updating - its more how it runs after (connection lost, crashes or even ram leak again) my solution is to reset the configuration each time, which works pretty well so far.
...for the 1x issue wit updating, i had my connection disconnect for a few seconds and pause it, after that the estimated download sizes increased each time

so, something has gone wrong with the patches since 3.0 - it's also interesting that many players playing with the same version had such a wide range of sizes to download. Not sure if thats also a UE4 thing but my pak-files (for the update) are arround 5-6 GB and somehow I get 5-30GB patches with it

not sure what keep triggering the random freeze during patch or other issue like bloated disk usage without any clear read write.
also with patch size issue, they really need to split apart their game files, so when patching come, only some require overwrite with less size.

uhm, this usually happened if the appmanifest somehow turned into blank file.
check any appmanifest file under steam apps folder.
think its, appmanifest 2064650 file, open it with notepad.
if it blank : / .... might as well reinstall.
not sure what trigger it to go blank, best to backup it after finished reinstalling.

blue screen is serious x_X , usually tied to physical hardware condition.
could be RAM or write/read issue with storage , also monitor your gpu temperature via task bar, or check cpu temp at bios.

How many RAM stick you have ? if you have multiple for like 2x8, then test both 1 by 1 to play the game or other heavy 3d game.
For storage check, use crystal disk info to check if your storage device is fine.

If each individual RAM stick test were OK, try combine them. If both combine resulted in blue screen, could be mother board slot issue or one them have reduced capability which causing some bottle neck perfomance and errors.

If the storage check is ok, and a HDD, do defragment via windows disk clean up. Don't do it if SSD. ( the game file is often too fragmented )

If everything is fine, do a basic maintenance checkup like :

• running chkdsk c: /f at cmd window, change c: with both os and game drive
• running dism /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and sfc /scannow to check os condition

there are lots of safe to delete file under launcher folder. Check under logs subfolder.

Just to echo the above. Excess files or a damaged install shouldn't cause BSOD's- ... However, if the machine is halting on accessing the game's files, meaning "specifically" Tower of Fantasy's files, this might imply that the cause is the disk that the game is on. Seems that Gespenst has you testing that right now.

Do you remember roughly what the BSOD's error codes were? If not, could you take a peak inside of "%SYSTEMROOT%\Minidump" and see if there's any files written under there? If there are, and if you could shoot me a copy of those files dmp files over DM's I'd be glad to take a look at them and see if this gives a hint what's going on.

Far as accessing that directory:

Windows Key + R
Paste in: %SYSTEMROOT%\Minidump

Since the folder opened is under C:\Windows, if you're on Windows 11 you won't be able to drag files straight out of there into Discord {unless Discord is administratively elevated at least}. If Discord reports that it cannot send the dmp files, you can drag them (under Windows Explorer) over to a location in your user-directory. {for example onto your desktop} Explorer will throw an elevation prompt, and you can then drag them from the copied location into Discord {without elevation / any rights issues}.

Other thing that's worth checking under situations like this is the Windows Event Viewer. Specifically under the "System" tab of messages, and to look for any disk related errors or warnings.

No guarantee of course, since the OS goes down and may not be able to properly log anything. In those cases, you might still see something recorded by the Disk's internal logging (S.M.A.R.T. records). These can be viewed with a tool such as Crystal Disk Info: https://crystalmark.info/en/software/crystaldiskinfo/

If that's generating a bluescreen, it's almost for sure the drive.

Especially if this is an NVMe SSD, when the controllers on those drives malfunction -- given they're PCI-E devices, they can wreck havoc. Tendency is for things to not go graceful.

A failing SSD controller can even cause spontaneous restarts or power-offs without a BSOD, and so on.

Anyway, my recommendation here personally is once you transfer the game data off the disk (if you can even succeed in that). Physically pull the suspect disk.

Then see if Crystal Disk Info runs without a BSOD.

Yep, this is one downside of NVMe over the older SATA / SCSI interface.

When older interface connected drives fail, they just "poof" from the system, or you get errors. Yet the entire machine doesn't go down.

Unfortunately that means Windows isn't recording BSOD's, it's going down hard.

If removal of the second disk (the one containing the game) does not clear up the crashes, you'll likely need to record what the bluescreen states. (e.g, write it down or take a picture with a camera)

Non-descript sadly. However, symptomatically it sounds like a disk is the cause based on everything you've stated.

The big question is "which disk?". Hopefully the game disk and not the primary / OS drive.

Only way to find that out is likely going to be physical removal (opening the laptop, taking out a disk, and re-testing).

Anyway, whenever the hit this failure, the drive is effectively vanishing from the system. "poof"

No disk, thus no place to write the crash-dumps.

Sadly uninstalling and reinstalling the game is not going to be anything beyond a temporary fix {if you get lucky}.

As data is cycled around the disk, by probability, the controller is going to hit the portion of the surface that's generating the problem.

Ultimately you'll need to get a new drive and reinstall everything up fresh. You probably won't be able to clone the drive.

If you have a USB flash drive, or external disks, now is the time to start backing up anything critical.
