It worked! I just managed to login. Here's what I did:
I basically play on pc and phone. On PC I usually connect from using Steam but i'm also binded to Apple. I tried to login from Apple instead of Steam and it worked. I don't know if it helped or if they just fixed at the same time I changed my login option but maybe you should try to use a different login method if you can

from android with google play store login ? go in game setting -> compliance, there should be bind to infinite pass
Test that web event with vpn, if using free vpn or proxy, change your password to prevent account theft.

You already have infinite pass to apple.
Now you need infinite pass to steam, install basic launcher, when asked to install game files, refuse it.
At basic launcher menu -> top right menu -> account -> bind to steam, see if that overwrite the new account you used for steam.
If that fail.... yeah, either reinstall the game with basic launcher or contact support to bind the account to steam : support@toweroffantasy-global.com

so I had a name on Observer that I tried transfering to my character on Nirvana but I can't seem to change to said name, is there a grace period or something? because when I try to search for that name, no one appears to show up unless they snatched it during my process of transfering.
If anyone gets a black screen and then it closes again instantly after starting up the game, a temporary fix is to reinstall your graphic card drivers. Hope Hotta has a permanent solution soon

No, not reset.
when starting the game, if you already playing, you'll only need to hit enter and no need to select server.
after client hard reset, you need to find your character again at server selection because you'll be presented with different default server.
and yes, clear out everything under those folders

Hello, this is the first time I've gotten this bug. I used my matrix preset and the stars from 1 piece were transferred to another. Region - Europe, Server name - Alintheus, name in the game - Tanexi. Before we went in VA, my matrices were ok in the list. But in weapons menu they were bugged. And after VA that matrix changed in the list too. It happened 20 mins ago.
Android pixel 7 downloaded the game twice and both times it launches to a black screen with the app icon and that's it.

hello, I know it's not about the game itself; but I am getting this disk write error when trying to install the game on steam. I tried restarting and running as admin

hi I can't upgrade some buildings on my artifical island(even though I have the mats). I noticed that on one screen it says the buildings are level 3, but on the other they are level 2. When I click "upgrade" it just says "building..." forever but doesn't actually start any upgrade.

use application like crystal disk info to check your storage device health.
If the result is bad.... hopefully it is still in warranty or you can get new one.
If the result is good, hopefully only a small bad sector. Use chkdsk <insert drive letter>: /r at cmd window.
But still, if it has bad sector, recommend to use it as data storage only rather os or gaming.
@upper quiver @rough plover that usually happens when isp doing an ip refresh or change between clicking launch button at launcher and clicking enter server.
And since the ip was changed too sudden, the error happened. A simple relog will do.

If there's any, dm a mod @radiant edge with those crashes.
Meanwhile make sure if you are using another antivirus outside windows defender, add exclusion to the whole game folder and tof_launcher.exe + QRSL.exe.
Also post your processor + gpu + ram size specification.
without the game, prepare 50 GB empty space :
- ~16 GB for the game
- ~5 GB for the game operational
- ~15 GB for patch download
If you already have 25 GB ++ and still having insufficient space error /warning, do an app cache delete from app setting ( not the game files, just the game cache ), restart device and retry.

you propobably entered the side quest instance, that is why you cant interact with the black nucleus. need to either complete the side quest or exit by clicking the door icon top left

Even if an orb doesn't appear [map / local visuals], you can interact with it {unless it's like Damica proposed}. This would be a visual bug, and if the client moves out of sight of the orb and then re-enters it, usually it'll appear.

For instance, have you lost access to the email address -- or are you about to? Has the account used for sign-in been compromised? If it's not simply a desire to change the address by choice, and if there's something prompting you to wish to change your login credentials -- it's generally a good idea to bind another sign-in method.

No problem. We're also not inherently going to stop those questions from being asked when players play both renditions of the game. Just they are separate games, and the players here are for the Global release predominantly of course. So version specifics will have better luck in their respective places.

What you've shown in your screenshot looks like DLSS motion artifacts. Are you by chance playing on an NVidia Graphics Card? If you are, try setting DLSS to "close" and disabling frame generation if it's a 4000 series card.
Similarly, Temporal Upscaling can cause streaking. Though that looks more like NVidia's upscaler.
Are you by chance playing on Intel Integrated Graphics or an ARC Discrete GPU?
I see that GespenstMkI covered disk related causes. Another potential here is if your AntiVirus is blocking write-access to that file. Are you running any third party security software beyond Windows Defender? If so, could you list whatever you have installed so that I may test it?
Most of the time AV's have a log that can inspected to see what actions they're taking {if actions are silently being performed}. The AV might also be holding the file open for scanning [this would be a "bug" in the AV], even though no heuristics are being tripped and the file is left alone. In a situation like this, adding the game's installation path to the AV's whitelist and rebooting the machine will usually do the trick. [aka, whitelisting the Steam folder until the game is installed, then making your whitelist entry more granual thereafter to just the game-folder]

Hello i have a problem about games pity not being right and the response im getting always telling me to consult the display interface and pity gets updated after update now my problem is it was not 0 before the update it was around 20-60 at least but after update it went to 0 but i dont get why support stuff not understanding it neither they are giving me my pull history before the update heres is the image of pity count right now
btw the 10 pull here is from zeke free 10 pulls
also if the support team showed my history prior to update i would had known how my pity was 0
as far i remember i did around 110 pull to get lan from bux in the last fire element simulacra banner so i had around 30-50 in my estimate

In the past this issue usually related to login method.
For some reason, mostly non infinite pass login got this error, very rare. It will resolve itself after some time.
If emptying these folders unable to fix the problem, your only choice is to wait, folders are :

If you try with emptying folder method, have to find your character at server selection and set in game setting again.
And no, IIRC steam cannot bind to another login method, have to ask support to do that for you.

All right I'm a little confused then, because as it stands the game story-wise, as I was playing it and made my way to hykros for the first time, took me to Vera from hykros and then the cyberpunk city mirroria, I did what story quest was available to me there, and after that, the story took me back to the first planet.

But if you have the same on other platforms , its an account bound bug and not hardware related, so either the account hasnt registered you finishing a mission or there is a possibility you just missed something stupidly small and its fucking with you
The ui and controls on ps5 are some of the worst ive seen, navigating around the menus is a pain in the ass xd

I reduced the audio setting in game, it keeps me safe when fast traveling but when I open the game from launcher the boom sound at start is set to max
, they have already changed the trigger to different quest. You need to complete vera main questline mission where you sleep in your bed now to unlock adventure tab and daily missions

Since the account was used in 2023, this is post Vera, and after the changes were made to the account system that made it much more difficult to unlink / unbind a sign-in method {to otherwise move an account}. So, theft is less likely here-
Most of the time people returning to the game after inactivity are simply on the wrong account or in the wrong region. Are you certain that you're signing into the game absolutely identically to how you used to prior? For instance, the most common cause is people on a "Google" Account who either signed in as gmail {plain old email}, or via Google's external sign-in provider, then forgot which of the two was used.
Make sure that you're trying both in the case of a Google Account, and all possible sign-ins that you might've linked. If that doesn't do the trick, then you'll need to #game-support and get an investigation started into what happened. Either in account recovery, or in locating what the correct sign-in is.

Doubt you're lagging if it is about graphical problem, although reducing amount or viewed character can help with both lag and graphical problem.
Anti aliasing itself is a graphical related problem, usually stuttering when moving.

Logout and close the launcher, make sure not running at background, find these folders and delete their content :
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\tof_launcher
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\tof_launcher_Steam\ < -- if using steam
Start the launcher -> go to top right menu -> system -> select directx to dx11.
Start the game, need to find your character at server selection and set all in game setting.
That should solve the sudden auto close, but if you still have immediate auto close or immediate crash, go to "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\Saved\Crashes, find crash log there and dm a mod here @radiant edge
For the disconnected issue :
- restart modem and router
- set dns at network adapter setting with 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 ( google / cloudflare )
- open cmd window with run as administraor, type
ipconfig/ flushdns
if your system is stable, should be able to run fine. ( albeit with low setting )

step by step :
- enable your developer mode, should be under setting, most bottom one
- inside developer mode, find an option about increase buffer size, increase it to the max ( prob 16/32 ), but make sure you have enough storage to support this.
restart the device and test the game, see if finally can enjoy larger area without crashing.
if that still not enough, return back to developer mode screen
- find activity saving or keep activity, disable it
- find limit background process and change to none
- also check auto run background app and turn them off
it kicked me out of the game again
find that crash log and dm @radiant edge will need more reading.
if the hotta folder doesn't have any crash log, large change the anti cheat triggered by something in your system.

When it was introduced, old player should able to claim it since many of the tasks were auto completed.
But they cannot, so the dev give everyone a free set of shiro matrix.

welp its getting harder and harder for me to keep playing TOF with all this Lag and random freezes, rough PC Specs, 5800X3d, 4080, 64GB 3600 CL16 and the game is installed on NVMe. game upright freezes with no error, only TOF does this. Reinstalled the game also installed on other SSD but still to no avail, tried with lowest settings as well. been playing since CBT and never had this issue

hey, after re-downloading the game due to corrupted dll files and continuous crashing (it crashes at loading screen after it gets stuck at 33%) but now after my second re-download I can’t even get past the login screen, whenever I try to type in the login field, the whole window turns white

Guys I've only started playing recently on pc. It is my understanding that it has cross play and cross save with mobile. I downloaded the game on mobile and logged in with my email (same from pc) but it's not putting any of my progress in and it starts from the beginning again. Can someone please tell me how to enable cross save so I can use the same progress I have on my pc version?
I also binded my pc version account to the level infinite pass account. Thought it would make a difference but it did not.

u can do that in the game launcher but u can also just use another server to make a new char, so u dont have to delet your old char
What was your old login method ? the standard launcher ? because you will need to turn it into infinite pass 1st then bind it to google or iphone for your mobile account.

If your device can open developer mode ( IIRC it required ios16 ), try this, either this options are under developer mode or somewhere in setting :
- find an option about increase buffer size, increase it to the max ( prob 16/32 ), but make sure you have enough storage to support this.
- find activity saving or keep activity, disable it
- find limit background process and change to none
- also check auto run background app and turn them off

prepare 50 gb before trying to install.
the in game web browser ate lots of resource, you'll need to clean up lots of background application.
for web event can just open in normal game browser.
for payment, a workaround is to bind to google login and then buy stuff via playstore.
another thing to try is to find and delete content of these folders :

Hmm, try with baiting, so launch normally for 1st time, then quit the game and logout. Then relogin, enter in game, then close launcher.
Probably only worked on 2nd login and the rest rather 1st login of the day.

The last time i played i had like 20g free and i had no problems
20 Gb is still too small, the game keep increasing in size. Also there's this bug for device which can keep bugging user if they don't have large enough free space, the game patch or installer will keep saying insufficient space.
The only known work around is to keep making free space and restart device on every attempt.

Game got stuck when downloading 3.1 resources some days ago, since I was on poor cell service at the time, I thought it was bcs of that. When I got to an area with proper connection, game wouldn't show the downloading resources screen at all.
Today I tried reinstalling the game from scratch, in order to rule out any corrupted data, and now the game won't launch at all, it'll be stuck on either a black screen, or the app logo.
I've tried to reboot phone, to uninstall game and reinstall again, to force app detention, to clear caché and app data, and to launch the game with different networks (mobile data, wifi, airplane mode), as well as different battery conditions (plugged in, normal usage, battery saver and extreme battery saver), all results non successful
I found threads about this being a Pixel error since they launched 3.1, but I'm just looking for a fix...
There is no fix, I even tried faking my phone fingerprint with root, it didn't work

I have a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s and a Poco F3, both running the same Pixel rom builds (so roughly the same software installed). The developers of the rom for the Mi Mix 2S chose not to emulate pixel fingerprint, but the developers for the Poco F3 version emulate it to get the Pixel exclusive features. The game works on the Mi Mix 2s, but doesn't work on the Poco F3. The OS build is the same for both, only the fingerprints are different.
The reason the game works in Parallel Space or other app cloning solutions is that they run apps in a sandbox which modify the device fingerprint in some way.

If you're using the standard launcher, switching to Steam for example would give you much better resume support. [if the connection momentarily goes down]

Just to correct my self, im talking about a friend here. He tried logging in his old account like 6 months ago but being unable to log in overall. This time (with the 3.1 patch) he tried again, but this time he got logged into a new account. Of course we saw the server selection being to another server, and when he checked the server we are on, there was no character. I and a few friends still have his account in friend list.

The game is good, but needs some serious TLC on consoles.

Trying to access the overlay cursor whilst stood in front of a character both wastes your special attack, and talks to them. And it only works a portion of the time.

Screen prompts tell you to "Tap anywhere to continue", which as we all know consoles aren't touch screen. Press O on PS4/PS5, or ironically tap the touch pad.
You're basically playing a mobile game on consoles that's still optimised for touch screen controls.
Why not utilise the touch pad on PS4/PS5 as an easy navigation of the cursor?
Additional: Why are we having to press 2 buttons to access/progress certain screens?

Quality is very subjective here {varies based on the person and what their preferences are}:
-- The best choice is whatever provides a smooth enough experience for your own tastes, without too much sacrifice in visual-fidelity. Essentially you're trying to balance the image quality and performance. As image quality increases, performance may decrease. On the flipside, a powerful device may run just as good at higher quality settings.
Since the initial setting / what you have selected now does not look good to you, you'll want to try higher settings so long as performance does not dip drastically. If you can describe what does not look great in an image, or provide examples, we might be able to give specific advice in what settings might improve those aspects.
For example: Textures look smeared, motion is blurry, edges of objects are fuzzy.
On mobile devices, battery life and thermals might also be a consideration. If the device is too hot for comfort, you might have to reduce the visuals -- even though it otherwise runs fast enough.
It's no longer possible to transfer a character to another server?
All characters within a region (across all servers [per the server / world select] ) are in effectively one large world.
