Clean the game cache, not game files, just the cache.
Then try again, it is rare to have device suffering broken game files.
If you keep having that 90% problem, try to use other login method.
Login 1st into the game and find setting page which allow you to bind your login into another login method.
Ex : your login is google, bind it to infinite and then use inifinite to login instead.

A lot can cause crashing.
What's your device ?
Is this after selecting server ? or when entering instance like void rift / joint ops / etc with high frequency ?

That 27 GB wasn't about old size 45 GB + patch 27 GB, old files got overwritten, so the actual size increase was 5 GB, from 45 GB to 50 GB.

what you were experiencing is channel being overcrowded which cause slow loading. Common issue on crowded server and logged into low channel number ( 1-10 at overcrowded server = lag ).
change your channel, click on that channel number top of your minimap and switch to 15++.
if you don't have internet issue, should load quickly.

You stated that your SSD is fine. What are you using to make that assessment? S.M.A.R.T. records read through something like Crystal Disk Info?

Generally if it's not caused by an AV, which it doesn't sound like it is -- the next most common culprits are either general system instability (such as defective RAM), or the disk.

There's also (rarely) been a few cases that I've seen where an infection on the system (malware) was damaging the game's assets. Yet this is incredibly rare as usually they tend to set off the anti-cheat. {Abnormal Environment}

Update: Most likely instability from overclocked RAM. However, the system is also underspec (4GB) and needs more memory to run the game properly.

While your isp is ok connecting to other website, it seem is having problem connecting to tencent server.
restart your modem/router so isp can give you fresh ip which hopefully not in trouble.
use 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 as dns at your network adapter setting. ( google and cloudflare )
then use ipconfig /flushdns at cmd window ( choose run cmd with run as administrator )

Yet right now, your best bet would be restarting in terms of securing a good gameplay experience latency wise.

However, we can't provide any promises there -- this would be more to just express your feelings on the issue appropriately.

The engine will respect the desktop's set resolution while in fullscreen mode, including at very low resolutions such as "640x480". However, this is of course not recommended and will cause other UI problems beyond just the launcher.

This is possible, yet not for free. There's an item in the special currency shop that permits re-selection of character gender.

Of course, you may also simply swap servers, or re-create the character on another account. If you continue playing that character, you're not locked in though provided that you're willing to delve into the cashshop.

Already on WIFI, then it's not the Apple specific issue- Back to the first point on treating this as a connection problem then.

Start off by resetting all Internet Equipment involved. CPE, Router / Modem, wireless access point, etc. If that still does not help and you're still intermittently getting disconnected, then if the problem does not clear up on its own -- you'll need to get in touch with both your Internet Provider and Tower of Fantasy's support.

In the case of the ISP, you'll want to mention the services that you're using (e.g, Tower of Fantasy), and the region that you're playing within / where you're connecting to. When contacting Tower of Fantasy's support {see #game-support }, you'll want to mention your connection origin, Internet Provider, WAN IP address, and anything else that you can. The goal is to get both ends to look for routing problems in each direction with the hopes that either side finds an issue.

Although there's already shading option, that post production at this game seem to increase the effect of shading.
In some case it just caused some area to be too foggy.
Increasing it does require more gpu performance and system resource.

The Shading checkbox has an effect on shadows directly, whereas Post Production {Post Processing} does more indirectly -- especially at higher values with effects such as through screen space ambient occlusion.

As with anything, if you need performance and you don't notice the effect of a setting, then it's worth considering toning it down. Higher values do increase image quality though.

Not sure if this can help your integrated gpu :

• open launcher -> top right menu -> system -> use directx11
• enlarge your swap file ( will need more empty space ) , windows search bar, type environment variables -> advance tab -> performance setting -> advance tab -> virtual memory change -> find number at currently allocated .
  Write the number down, then remove checkmark on auto manage paging file.
  Then use any drive to act as your custom paging file. Set minimum with 50% more then previously currently allocated value and maximum of 200%.
  Reboot your windows and see if you still suffering such glitch.
  If you still suffering glitch, you need a better gpu and revert changes made at windows environment.

Hello, I have seen that more people have posted the same problem, but nothing works for me.

In my case, it cannot find the gmesdk.dll file either, but I have already verified that I DO have that file and that no antivirus is blocking it.

My problem is that when I try to register that file with regsvr32, I get another error:

Lag issue, yes it is mind boogling issue that normal gaming run fine while va/vr can easily lag when teleporting to boss fight.
Can only recommend to relog whenever trying to do a group instance if already doing normal non instance run more then ~15 mins.
It is just like, somehow session went expired / require renewal when joining instance, and you are forced to download whole lots of data to catch up.

Changing your dns to 8.8.8.8 / 1.1.1.1 at network adapter setting ( google/cloudflare ) can help to lessen the issue since if you're using your ISP dns and got changed at midgame, that can trigger the lag.

Those folders are for pc user either steam or non steam user.
Steam / epic will have their own folder for tof_launcher.
Binding at pc can be done via launcher top right menu account center.
Binding at device can be done via in game setting menu -> compliance.

Files at appdata are not game files. It stored in game settings / crash report/ cache / screenshot.
The folder structure will be recreated by the game.

This game will use about ~15 GB as current patch. When operating, it will require another ~5GB.
Whenever this game is updating so far, it will download another ~15 GB before applying to game files.
Recommend to have at least ~50GB.
Note : there's also an annoying bug for device, example you have 100GB free space and keep having such error message, can only restart device and retry install / update if that happened.

Alintheus and Aimanium on EU (Europe) have either too lazy to no Admins. Is it possible to have them assigned to those servers aswell. Since the reports are 99% of the time not being processed.

Also reports on bugs, lag, glitches and illegal exploits reports can only be sent through Customer Support.

TLDR, helping / supporting low RAM.
The pc has 8GB RAM with win10, that's not good enough for gaming nowadays. Will need at least 16GB.
When OS or a program run, it will create cache file. RAM is prioritized because it is faster to read and write.
Since OS and other auto start software will also use RAM, how many available for gaming ? Very low, this can cause the game don't have space to write to RAM or virtual memory, commonly will cause instability like crashes and so on.
So, increase virtual memory, so OS and other software can use storage device to store cache file rather RAM only. Still slower then using RAM, but will lessen effect of instability since now every program can store cache file.

That GPU driver probably no longer updated. There's a chance this game have little backward compatibility with older driver.
But let's try some things 1st. Specially due to 8 GB memory.

• expand virtual memory :
  Windows search bar -> type environment variable.
  Choose advance tab -> performance group -> settings.
  Pick advance tab -> virtual memory group -> change.
  See how many recommended by the system default, then remove checkmark on automatic allocation. Pick the drive where to put the windows swap file, choose SSD drive if available.
  Fill custom size, initial with 150% value of currently allocated , and maximum with 200% value of currently allocated.
  Restart your windows once over.

• check if there's 3rd party antivirus :
  if yes, add exclusion to the game folder and its qrls.exe, it is under hotta\binaries\win64 folder.

• run a file repair:
  open launcher, menu to repair is under launch button.

• once can run the game, set setting 1st and lower the resolution + other graphic setting while maintain 30 fps as minimum.

If the pc can use 1280 res or bigger, set to that 1st. Before trying to run again.
Also at the launcher, open top right menu -> system -> pick dx11.

The experience on an AMD 5450 will not be great unfortunately, even if the game runs. However, that graphics card has half the VRAM in the game's minimum requirements and is about 1/15th its speed in raster performance.

You'll likely need to upgrade that machine regardless to get a playable experience.

Far as that Phenom II -- same deal here. I've heard of a few people who've gotten the game running on processors from 2009-2010, yet the CPU choke is generally severe {AMD was substantially behind the Core II Series of the day}. The game should actually run on such a processor, yet achieving steady 60fps won't be possible even with a GPU upgrade.

Personal recommendation would be to look into a modern CPU first, given an IGP {Integrated Graphics} on the current generation processors from AMD & Intel is actually faster than a 5450 discrete GPU. {especially true on the Ryzen side from the 3400G onward -- Vega 11, can consider socket AM4 to keep the costs down [older combos can be found used for sub 200$] } Then later look into adding a Graphics Card.

No problem -- and remember that you can do this piece wise if you eventually intend to buy both a Graphics Card, and a new mobo + processor + RAM. Though upgrading the processor is probably a greater value since that'll make everything on the machine more snappy all around.

Fantastic. Anyway, your second NVMe disk, despite what Magician is reporting -- is likely defective.

The controller on it is malfunctioning, and this is taking out the other PCI-E devices on the system. Causing the primary NVMe to also be lost.

MouseTrails is a Windows feature that creates trailing mouse cursors. "-1" is a special value in that trails will be technically active, yet there won't be cursor trails. A side effect with trails is that it's mutually exclusive with the driver hardware cursor.

So that's a 'trick' to make Windows revert to software rendering of the cursor.

Which takes the display code out of AMD's drivers, lets Windows render the cursor.

Unfortunately there's not official support for Ultra-Wide Monitors in the game {that's not changed}. For now you'll need to play at the lesser widescreen aspect {via altering the Windows Desktop res, or playing in windowed-mode} as there's no method to alter the dominant FOV calculation-axis that won't severely "break" other elements of the UI or other functionality of the game. {e.g, the workarounds proposed on various forums are non functional and either will not stick .. or will cause other serious oddities}

The only thing that we can really recommend here is unfortunately contacting Customer Support and explaining the desire for ultra-wide, and or filing #932914069395091456 on the topic. [per you and for all other owners of such displays]

If the game was uninstalled and reinstalled, usually server selection is returned to default ( closest to the current IP address ) and have to select server again.
Selecting server by clicking on server name to see where are all the characters.

I can't remember where or how I got it, either from the rewards for progressing or from a quest. It was in base form.

In this case, to switch to iOS, a good approach would be to bind your Apple ID as a sign-in method, though any sign-in provider that you see listed on the iOS client is appropriate here-

Per the other question that was removed, if you've an associated sign-in that you've lost access to or otherwise don't remember -- that's something that you'd need to contact Customer Support about. e.g, to either have the binding removed, or to gain details on it.

That said, since you mentioned playing a long time ago. Is there any possibility that you started multiple accounts? • windows search bar -> type environment variable -> advance tab -> performance -> open setting
• advance tab -> virtual memory -> open change
• remove checkmark at "autmatically manage paging file"
• read recommended and current allocated number. Write to a paper which one is bigger
• click custom size -> insert minimum 150% of previous recommended or current allocated value, insert maximum 200% of previous recommended or current allocated value
• click ok after finish.
• restart your laptop
• open TOF launcher -> top right menu -> system -> change directx to use dx11. Test the game

That option from previous user can work if you have similiar spec with previous user. The only difference for your case is most likely at how large the custom swap file minimum and maximum.
SSD is a storage device, faster then outdated HDD.
Used mainly as OS drive and swap file due to limited age.

The game size is ~15GB and will require extra ~5GB when operating for current version.
When updating it will download another ~15GB ( for large patch ) for latest patch.
50 GB free is recommended.
That lack of free space is just the annoying game bug, have to restart before another attempt to update the game.

Not sure if this can help, but most likely you'll need support or wait until that giga merge finished.
Empty these folder content :

Delete launcher folder ( only the game launcher, not the whole game ) and reinstall launcher from TOF official website. If asked where's the game file, just point to already existing one.

I wish this is only wrong reading because of broken data cache or due to server transfer, the character become unplayable for 1-2 days or until that giga merge.

That said, did read up through what was written, and of course loss of a character is discerning. I've heard of (in the past) a few cases similar to this where a transfer appeared to fail and where no characters were shown under ownership, yet where connecting to the world which was the transfer target-- pulled up the character as if the transfer succeeded. [where the character would show up in the server selector / list, thereafter]

Getting in that support contact is definitely advised though so that they can take a look at what happened, regardless if this is similar / even if the character pops up.

Yep, Support will get this sorted that much I've confidence in. Course I know that doesn't help so much right now, yet they are there to help and do recover accounts from issues like this -- so perhaps that's a bit of reassurance.

That's actually not a terrible idea, since a ticket will take time.

I do note that GespenstMkI suggested that you wipe out a few folders as well {followed by re-signing in}, that's not a bad idea too. {a reinstallation will not generally wipe the client config or launcher's caches}

If you have another device. e.g, a Tablet or Phone, that could be tried logging into your account as well -- just to see if your character shows.

Most likely though, you're either going to find that you don't get greeted by the character creation on attempting to sign-in on the target world {best case scenario, that this is just a visual "glitch"}, or -- if you are, you'll need support to dig deeper.
