Does anyone have an issue where the game stops downloading at around 70% on Android? I still see a download speed fluctuate between like 30kbps up to like 90ish. It got to 71% within a few minutes. Maybe we should do a poll to find out how many players are using gamepad on pc. It would show the % of players are getting irritated day by day because of the cursor bug. Bugs such as this that disrupt the gameplay experience for users should be addressed immediately or should have been caught before being released to the public. Shows that the developers never tested with a gamepad.

Are you certain that your sign-in method that’s being used right now is identical to what you used prior?

The main reason that I’m asking this- is that it’s quite common for folks to use the “stay logged in” checkbox from the launcher, and then not remember the method their account was accessed from … e.g, some large amount of time later {a month or more} when they’re logged-out. {from some trigger}

For instance: If you’re using a Google Account for sign-in, make sure that you’re trying both the external provider (Google OAuth, via the Google button) and also try your Google Account as plain-old-email (without using an external provider).

If this doesn’t help, you’re absolutely certain that you’re using the correct sign-in provider, account, and world-server. Then if you’re also on the PC-Client, please try factory resetting both the launcher and client’s configurations.
You may do that by clearing out the following folders {close the game and launcher first}:

For those who have problem with memory leak, there is a workaround fix:

1. Restart game
   2.Log in
   3.Open settings
   4.Switch DLSS to performance
   5.Switch DLSS to close
   6.Play
   Looks like the game start up with dlss on and don't care about what was the last state of it's settings, and of course the DLSS it self is still the main problem

However, when I try to save it, the game gives me "Cannot upload any more images" and greys out the button to save the preset. Is this a file issue where I have to change the directory that the presets are saved in, or is there something else going on?

Here's a weird thing, if you open the map and then move the blue circle down to the "exploration" tabs (any of them Astra, Banges, Navi, etc.) at the bottom of the map window and open and close one of them eventually the circle disappears and stays gone for a while but something triggers it to shows up again . Seemingly randomly I haven't extensively tested when this is. It's certainly not an actual fix for the actual gamepad/controller blue circle issue though.

1. You can get upgrade point by doing bounty quest and open password chest (with or without chip).
2. You still get event point when losing.
3. I have 12mil HP Seraph but in 1 match it's killed within 3 second. So upgrading or not do not matter much.

I don't know if you saw my tip before about opening the map and opening and closing an exploration tab at the bottom of the screen until the blue circle disappears. It stays gone for a bit but something triggers it to show up again, I'm not sure what. It's not really a very good solution but it's the best we can do until they bother to actually fix it.

Yes this has happened before. If you watch the full cut scene without skipping through, the A button (jump) stops working.

I made a whole controller layout in Steam that would be exclusively keyboard/mouse with no controller output and when I tried it in game pressing anything on the gamepad just did NOTHING at all like I wasn't even pressing anything.

I believe there is a memory leak somewhere, I know DLSS has been an issue, but setting to "Close" has solved my VRAM crashing issues, but I have 32GB of RAM so there could be another memory leak and I just haven't noticed it.
Try disabling DLSS (set to Close) to see if that helps.

No that was the problem, I got it to work once I ran as admin.

About Twitch Drops: I observed that, if you have your ToF account linked to your Twitch account and claim the drops on Twitch, you will not get the drops even though your account is linked.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and before i pull Lin c6, I could play at maximum settings at 60 fps even in hard dungeon battles.

After I got the Lin C6, I can't play in battle without lag even on low settings unless I decrease the effects settings to 10%.

If you’re on RTX hardware, there might be something wrong with the NVidia Container Service, and DLSS may not be functioning properly. Does changing the game’s DLSS quality settings under the “Display” options ingame have any impact on the portion of the window drawn to?

Yep, it's isolated to just Apple's Phones on mobile data. Ironically, iPads don't seem to have the issue.

Only thing that we can really suggest here is to try talking to your carrier and asking if there's any difference in how the devices are provisioned on their network. An iPhone's sim card will work in other devices, e.g. {and the iPhone could play on their mobile data, over a hotspot even}

Since I know from the chat history that you've already tried a bit here, attempt factory resetting the game's config, followed by the 'old' method to completely disable the Engine's NGX support. That still works post version 2.2, though there's some known config combinations that cause other performance issues when coupled with it.

It's not the preferable way to go about this, and we'd prefer that the game's files not be touched anyway.

Far as verifying that it worked, post edit you will no longer see the setting under the Display tab. There'll be a toggle switch / checkbox in its location as if you were on a system that didn't have the feature.

It's completely safe to delete "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\" in its entirety. Shouldn't be necessary to eliminate the entire folder {that also clears out your crashdumps, etc, which might be valuable} -- the pin on performing a config reset generally is enough.

• Everything in that folder will be regenerated by the launcher and game client though.

I note that you’ve already tried reinstallation of the game, however – did you also wipe out the launcher and client folders under AppData {in the user folder}?
-- These would not normally be cleaned up by an uninstall / reinstall, and would persist between them.

If you haven’t already, then try wiping the contents of the following two folders {after completely closing the game and launcher}:

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\*
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\tof_launcher\*

Then, re-starting the launcher, signing back in, and seeing if the situation changes at all.

It's worth noting that the Steam version does have its own launcher and game config subfolders respectively, so that might've worked too. Yet, it's otherwise doubtful that installing it would help outside of that.

Take a look under "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\Saved\Crashes" and see if you see any folders in this location. [or, Saved_Steam, if the Steam version]

I started yesterday. I got through the opening sequence, but after that can't connect to the server. No error messages, just a simple "disconnected from server" message. My uid is just 00 which looks like an error to me, so maybe that has something to do with it, depending on the server's uid checking at login. Or it might be the result of some other error.

Every time I try to reconnect is the exact same thing. No errors, just disconnected.

Edit, it occurs to me this might be an account creation bug resulting in an invalid account and thus being prevented from logging in.

Not on this game specifically but my gpu is GTX1060 with 3GB vram and some pc games eat a lot of that
I had my pagefile reduced to 1gb becauseI have 16gb ram and I was thinking I don't need that file constantly writing on my SSD
When I increase it to 4gb,I lot of vram hungry games started to behave but some of them still crash from time to time
When I increase the pagefile to 8gb,low vram related crashes completely disappear
