@drifting marsh -- Sounds like you're hit by both random BSOD's and also on anti-cheat driver load and unload.

Are you by chance on Windows 11, and if so, have you installed the latest 22H2 feature-update? Many users have reported a change in the crash behavior, or not crashing anymore at all -- after installing this update.

@wanton island -- What you're seeing with the svchost popup is 'probably' normal, though I don't want to give a complete assurance that it's normal.

• When Windows Defender's Folder Access Protection (aka, anti-ransomware features) are active, processes aren't allowed to access your user folders without consent. svchost is a generic service-container, and could be any Windows Service here.. Most likely, however, it's Radeon ReLive, or NVidia's Shadowplay Service -- being that the "Videos" folder is the target.

In any case, unless you've critical files in this folder, you can safely grant access. Another solution might be to remove recording software driver-features, if you're not using them.

Second image that you've shown: The text seems to state that a client-update failed. Since there earlier was a prompt showing Windows Defender restricting access to a service, perhaps some security software on the machine interfered here.

• This might include any other applications that you've installed outside of Defender, and you might find you need to whitelist the launcher folder.

Do you have access to any other form of Internet Connection (such as cellular tethering) that you can try using here? Even if other servers within the same region / datacenter work, it's common for people to face issues such as this that only effect their established {main} character. {e.g, that you may find that you can sign-in on that server on a fresh account}

As a server is played on, items acquired, levels, achievements, etc, this causes the amount of data associated with a character to grow. As the data associated with a character grows, connection problems become more likely to manifest.

@high tulip -- Usually this type of issue can be solved by re-downloading and re-installing the launcher over the existing installation. (This means the MiniLoader that you initially downloaded from the Tower of Fantasy Global Website to install the game)

@heavy rock -- Windowed applications generally don't tear if the desktop compositor is engaged, even if vsync is disabled.

• You could try disabling "Fullscreen Optimizations" from the properties for "\Tower of Fantasy\Hotta\Binaries\Win64\QRSL.exe" and see if this makes any difference in the behavior.

Assuming that you're reporting the text-size and placement on the menus. Specifically the spillover onto other UI elements.

This is normal at the moment and nothing wrong with your system here {it's a UI behavior that effects everyone}. Though unfortunately, there's not a solution for it right-now either.

Not certain, though graphical defects like this are quite common on Intel's Integrated Graphics. Will DM you to collect more detail on your hardware and drivers.

The engine definitely has support, just probably would need to be flipped on and certified by NVidia. Which feature are you looking for specifically? NVidia's Ansel?

In the past there was a flag accessible through NVidia Inspector, yet this is no longer the case in modern drivers. NVidia themselves has to allow the feature, and it needs to be that way for a variety of reasons -- since those features could provide advantages in games.

That said, NVidia has a program where users can 'vote' on Geforce Experience inclusion -- which ultimately gets NVidia involved. The other route is that the developer (of the game) requests it. If you want support for Experience's features, it's best to express interest to both parties.

If you've not yet bound a Custom Account, then it's possible to bind one from the Account Center {accessed through the launcher}. If you're already using a Custom Account, then this will need to be done via a special-request to customer support.

Most of the time connectivity problems that crop up suddenly are routing related in their nature. They tend to clear up on their own just as abruptly as they began. If it doesn't clear up on its own, then you might need to contact both your ISP and Tower of Fantasy's support.

In the case of the ISP, you'd want to explain the service that you're having connectivity issues with (e.g, mention Tower of Fantasy), and when contacting Tower of Fantasy's support, you'd want to provide details on your ISP / where you're connecting from [along with your IP address].

Or, you can bind an alternate sign-in method {e.g, Steam, Facebook, Google}, and then contact customer support requesting your "Custom Account" (plain-old-email) binding to be removed ... once removed, you would then bind a new Custom Account, to your new email address.

Since you've mentioned that you're a mobile player, assume that you're probably on an iPhone on mobile-data / cellular.

Unfortunately, this is a known issue with the game on iPhones specifically under these conditions. You'll likely find that you can enter the game on WIFI.

Screenshot that you've included seems to show that your CPU is pegged at 100% usage. Without knowing more about the hardware or how the reset happens, initial guess could be either thermals or insufficient power {a supply issue} when under heavy-load.

However, looking through the chat history it seems that this isn't the first time you've encountered issues like this one during installation or update. It's very possible that something is interfering with the update process (writing of files). Or, that something else is going on here.

By manually downloading, do you mean like an offline installer {full-download}? On the PC -- There's two installation methods: via a standalone launcher attained from the Tower of Fantasy Global Website, or through Steam.

Mobile devices can get a copy through their respective platform-stores.

As I said in order to play on steam i had to uncheck the square with the "i am 16 and older" in order to play via steam. then a couple of days later i found out that i CANT chat with others because the parentalthingy was active so i deactivated it. So as i unchecked that option ingame it threw me out and as i tried to relog with my steam account it gave me this error.

Per the other question interpretation though, if the engine was launched under d3d12, then yes -- raytracing features default to enabled.

my gpu doesnt have dlss sadly, im crashing a lot in Vera, it seems like even when you dont have dlss, you can disable it through files, idk if that helps at all tho, seems like it helped little bit
