I found out that Tower of Fantasy doesn't work on Steam Deck, which uses a LinuxOS. It showed an Anti-cheat error, so DXVK wouldn't work as expected since it's related to Linux/Wine translation.

The pinned post is a more permanent solution in that it'll permanently be off between starts of the game, and it's immediately off. Some people have the issue so severe that they actually can't get past the splashscreen and run out of VRAM immediately.

• That said, simply clicking DLSS off in the settings should be sufficient just the same.

Changes to the launcher have dropped the engine down to d3d11 for everyone at this time.

UE's feature level through the config files is overridden by the launcher's passed down arguments. The settings in the files won't have any effect for now.

Sadly RX 5000 series dont even have even 1 features from DX12_2 (GTX 10 and 16 series has Ray tracing Tier 1.0 Support and Intel Iris Plus and Iris Xe has Variable Rate Shading support) , because RX 5000 series build mostly using GCN Instruction set 🥲 (GCN 5.0 is Polaris, Radeon RX 400/RX 500 series)

Since you mentioned crashing here:

Take a look under "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\Saved\Crashes" and see if you see any folders in this location. {double check that the timestamp lines up with the recent closures} [or, Saved_Steam, if the Steam version]

If you can archive a couple of the most recent of these crash-dump folders {e.g, with winrar, winzip, 7zip, etc} and send me them (via DM's), would be happy to take a look and see if we can figure out what's happening.

From my experience, Limiting FPS using Nvidia will reduce performance of in-game quite a lot, it'll even make loading times longer.

To solve this, I keep my FPS for the game in Nvidia uncapped. Then I go into GameUserSettings.ini and adjust the framerate from setting FrameRateLimit=

Most of the time, when you see a "Bad Image" type error. That tends to be a way that AntiVirus software blocks execution by putting a 0-byte file in the place of whatever the scanner removes.

Check the size of the file, and check any AV logs, or quarantine folder. If you find a placeholder file, and if there's no quarantine entry. Generally the solution is to just re-install the launcher over the existing installation.

Bear in mind that the Internet is a mesh-network, and it's very possible to have different routing to the other games that you play -- where only ToF exhibits issues.

First step would be trying to pin down what's happening, or find evidence that it's the connection. If it was the Internet Connection, then you'd need to contact both your ISP and Tower of Fantasy's support.

Turning off DLSS in settings, should have the same effect as disabling UE's NGX support. The main reason for the file edit is mostly for those where the game immediately crashes on startup, or where they don't remember to disable it on each launch.

so I have TOF on my older pc, all drives updated, tof installed and it's below 10 fps. The graphic card is gtx 1080 so it doesn't support dlls. Before I could run the game smoothly but now it's totally not possible. I also tried gameusersettings and engine. Is there anything I can do now? Or just wait for hotfix for both of my pcs?

A very good update the 2.0 europe. (it's a big joke)
The game no longer launches correctly (hangs on the "infinite" screen).
The joystick support is very buggy (for example, after a cutscene it is no longer possible to jump, force to restart the game).
I try to buy 2 pack in the game store and when I click on BUY, the game crashes.
Seriously, what are you waiting for to patch the game quickly? it's been 2 days since the update came out and it's really boring this kind of bug!

Well it fixed the logo crash. So how do I revert back to how the game was before I did all these changes? Logo crash wasnt initially an issue.
