I fixed it, for some reason it was a different account when i logged in through google compared to when i manually entered the info
i was hitting dragon in the island, suddenly i got teleported to other place and the game force close 😦

What solved for me was logging out in the launcher, and relogging.
Any settings to make it so creatures can be seen much further away, and/or ground items. I have view distanced maxed in settings, was wondering if it is possible to edit the settings file to get it better.

Log out of the launcher and log in again, should fix it. Also restart your PC.
I logged into my account using sign in through google, when i logged out and manually logged back in (without using sign on through google) all my characters were back

What i meant was in the launcher theres an option to either type out your email and password to your account, or sign in through google, you just have to manually put in your email and password and thats what fixed it for me

Aite so I'm not going to say you were hacked.
Some of us before the update such as myself and now it seems many more AFTER the update some how got our characters/wanderers unlinked from our accounts. Only reason I'm not saying its a hacker is Majority of us we can still see our characters ingame. They remained untouched. No weapon changes. No name changes. No CP changes. I've only heard of one player that had the name change but the rest was left unchanged.
but ya its a massive bug going around and its really annoying.

This. I talked to someone recently and it happened to this player for 2 weeks now. Mine is almost a full week. This issue also was reported around mid august.

yup they went from binded login to tof account login. Its pretty damn weird.
then if your seeing changes on your account login such as a new bind. Most likely you have been hacked.

thats probably do to slowmode being enabled for that channel just be patient. Its to help so people don't spam the chats.

Honestly that doesn't sound like a TOF issue. Sounds like either a hardware or discord issue.
-If your using mobile. Close off the app running in the background reopen and try it again.
-Again if using mobile. Try to edit the photo, crop it a little, do some adjustments and resave the photo. Sometimes mobile screenshots have issues.

tell her to contact customer support via email and via the in game menu, if she has any screenshots that show her accounts UID in the bottom corner, use that to tell them what account she did own etc

I recommend that your friend send them an email explaining exactly what happened and tell them all the information she has about her character, including the UID, IGN , server, etc. This is what all of us who are affected by the same problem have done

Please be reminded that it is Wanderer's responsibility to keep their account safe from any form of third-party login. Creating a strong and unique password would help to secure your game account.

The ranking takes your sequential points into account as well, but it doesnt show you that on the leaderboard

it seems to be a problem of the characters being unlinked from the accounts. Mine is intact and has not connected since I lost it, since my friends can see it in the list of crew members

Seems bugs has been popping since the update, I'm getting this red dot from achievements but it's not saying which tab under life has achievement I can redeem. It's a minor thing but it gets annoying.
I'm going to call BS on CS on this. Highly doubt its even our fault due to how many players were affected with this. How insecure there game is and how this wasn't fully resolved back in mid August. i talked with a mod they said the longest it takes is 48 hours, they should respond you soon, it depends on how many ppl they have to get back to and they usually respond around this time

- It seems you've also already attempted a full reinstallation of the game, which would have also had the same effect as the suggestion post 1.5 update.

Use of a VPN would classify as such, and we'd generally discourage their use. Beyond the game, VPN's are likely to pose other problems when interacting with payment processors {trip anti-fraud checks} -- causing payments to be declined, etc.
- If use of a VPN solves issues that you're having, then for a long term solution, you'll want to contact your Internet Provider (ISP), and Tower of Fantasy's support.
In the case of the ISP, you'd want to explain the service that you're having issues connecting to (e.g, mention Tower of Fantasy), and when contacting Tower of Fantasy's support, you'd want to provide details on your ISP / where you're connecting from [along with your IP address].
^ The goal is to have both ends (your Internet Provider and Tower of Fantasy's support) look at routing in each direction.
@azure elbow -- Some amount of stuttering is normal during asset load-in.
Have you measured peak frame-time with any third-party graphics tools {such as RTSS}? If you've a plot of frametimes, or measured peaks, would be able to tell you if what you're seeing is normal or not.
@devout peak -- Does the 90% stall happen all of the time or just intermittently?
There's three primary causes of this:
- Hardware {the client taking too long to load / be ready, and the session timing out}
- Firewall Interference {be that a third-party firewall or filtering installed on the device / machine, or in the router itself}
- Connectivity {Internet peering / routing}
If the problem is "intermittent", it's most likely a gateway / routing issue between your ISP and the game-servers.
@blazing prairie -- Looks like on 9/3, you reported the game crashing your notebook {entirely}, I'm assuming that these are bluescreens and or abrupt reboots.
Check under "%SystemRoot%\Minidump", and if you have any minidumps in this location -- please send them to me {over DM's}, just to make sure here on what type of halt this exactly is.
- If there's no minidumps in that location, do you remember the text on any of the bluescreens? For instance, do they read "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION"?

Definitely concerning that you received a prompt of being logged in from another device, got booted from the game, and then found your characters missing on reconnection thereafter.
Does that description match what you observed?
It certainly sounds like a possible account compromise and disassociation (account rebinding).
- Since the source of how someone got in is unknown, would recommend making sure that your email-account and system that you use for support contact are "secure" as well.
Make sure that TFA is enabled, consider scanning your machine with something like Sophos' Hitman Pro, and or wiping your system completely (factory reset / OS reinstall) -- if there's any other signs that you've seen beyond your game account.
@little raft -- Did this specifically start after updating to 1.5?
@earnest vault -- BSOD looks like "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED", and as this is not the typical "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION" I'd be curious to see your minidumps.
Please take a look under "%SystemRoot%\Minidump", archive (zip) any minidumps that you believe correspond timestamp wise with those caused by the game, and send them my way {via DM's}.
-- On the last part, you may not tamper with, or interfere with the loading of, the anti-cheat, or alter the game's files in any way. {this would not be a suitable solution}

Isolated to just that one server or account? Others within the region are working fine for you?
- If it's server specific, would suggest filing a support ticket. If it's the entire region (datacenter) that you can't connect to, it may be worth looking into if this connection oriented -- especially if you can try another. (cellular tethering or otherwise)

If it's all servers, it's probably just a routing issue that'll clear on its own. Have you tried all of the basic things such as power cycling your router?

Hello, I am writing why on the 19th of last month at 3:27 am, I bought the monthly card, but I did not receive my 100 crystals for today, it is 30 days, as of today I only received 29 days
Just want to post here to inform others that were also affected, and maybe give hope. I wasn't able to log in and been getting the "Disconnected from server" message since after the v1.5 update, and tried everything to no avail, but today, lo and behold, without doing anything I'm able to log in now and there seems to be no connection issues now. So that's it maybe they're starting to fix their servers now.
Didn't get any compensation for the missed log ins for my monthly pass though. >.<
In my case, I have not lost any day, that is to say that the game sells me 30 days, but it will deliver me only 29 days?

Hey guys, any solution to play the game on my Samsung s22 ultra? it was fine when i installed it at first, but then after few days i cant play, it crashes/force closes the game sometimes at loading screen, sometimes after 1-2mins of playing. Already reinstalled, still the same issue.....
got the same phone, have you made sure you deleted cached data aswell, sometimes an uninstall doesnt remove it all
the app install is only 1.2gb the other 8gb of data is stored separately and sometimes uninstalling doesnt remove that extra data
(tap and hold the app, open app info and tap on 'Storage' clear data then uninstall the app and reinstall)

If it is, these are the only cases that we really know of where it's device specific. On anything else such as an Android phone, tablet, or even an iPad (with mobile sim), 4G / 5G data is expected to work.

you can cancel discharge skills(some of them at least)
cancel by dashing/jumping etc, and your energy bar will be consumed
mechanic, discharge switch can be used to escape from shock at the cost of discharge being used up

reading the ?-icon doesnt really help me understand the issue. i guess its this point number (for me its 2840 i guess) but i dont really understand how its calculated or even linked to the lvl. but i guess it should be fine
its updated you just have less points than the 3 people in front of you
each floor(bygone lvl) is 10 points and the points from sequential phantasm modes add after that to show your total bracket score used for ranking

still have to beat waves to get points but not getting hit increases the total points at end if you beat waves i think. (not sure how it works but without beating 1st wave dodging gives no points)

yeah its not particularly fun if u havent payed to max weapons for every element.
just sr bow is enough for 2-3 waves which should give between 400-700 points if you avoid getting hit much
that's resources going into a trash weapon
dont need to level it, most of your dmg comes from base stats anyway. you can equip 2 high att weapons with it for even more physical dmg. +100 lvls on sr bow would only increase your hits like 600-800dmg

pretty much, survive full time with full hp at end is 1134 points. i tryharded for +70 points from fighting mobs lol

lvl 40 shiro was hitting like 3-4k per hit compared to my regular frost comp hitting 30-40k
leveling weapons only adds flat dmg, shiro hits just have low %att multipler since they also deal dmg on the way back. also depends highly on your elemental att value (if you ahve a lot of frost dmg gear that adds more att than weapon levels)
i have a single piece of equip that rolled 1k frost att, the rest rolled into general stats like att or crit
got 3k points but i dislike it that those 0 skill things give u 3k points for the ranking
yeah i only have volt team and could only get +70 points with using it lol
yeah that it just bad design. im one of the players who use 3 ice weapons. i feel bad for the people with 3 volt or fire weapons
phantasm should give 300% more points. these "mini" quests need to give less points

u need to do 3 things, in order to repair the teleporter. if u only did the first and third one, then u can repair the first and the third part of the teleporter.
3 different broken domes filled with fog, each give 1 item to repair those. so you probably missed one of them

@kindred python try to close the game and launcher with your task manager so its definitely not open anymore. Now try to run the game as an adminstrator by right click on the game. I had the same problem and this was the solution for me. Maybe you have to login again into your account

It’s a mistake by the devs when they coded it into game they kept it running the same it does on CN which is mobs respawn 3 days after death and Bosses respawn 7 days after death

First thing to check in an instance like this would be the Windows Event Viewer, System section, and to look specifically at the messages leading-up-to the most recent "kernel-power" event.

Take a look under "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Hotta\Saved\Crashes", and see if you see any folders in this location that line up with the most recent client closures.
If you can archive those folders {e.g, with winrar, winzip, 7zip, etc} and send me them (via DM's), would be happy to take a look and see if we can figure out what's happening.

The description sounds like the monitor completely loses signal, yet the machine and game continue running -- and I assume you can gracefully ACPI shutdown (by tapping the power button). Is that what you mean by a "monitor blackscreen" here?
Though you've tested two displays, both displays appear to be high refresh rate. Did you try a different DisplayPort Cable when swapping monitors, or running the monitors at a reduced refresh rate (such as 60hz)?
The rapid repair device, an item needed to repair one of the teleporters on artificial Island got consumed after I repaired 3 of the 4 pillars. I assume it was due to the servers chugging, resulting in a desync between the Client based map. It could be fixed if I could somehow Re optain the item btw

Is there any way I can connect my account to an email? I have my account registered to my FB account, and I need to log in each time. With the Facebook account, I always need to log in even tho I have the 'keep logged in' checked. It always log me out.
From the launcher, in the upper-right corner (next to your account-name), there's what looks like a down-arrow. If you click on your name, a drop-down menu appears which allows you to select the "Account Center".
From here, you can use the "Bind Account" tab to associate your account to another login method.

-- Closing the game is explicitly on unload of the anti-cheat driver. Most of these BSOD's happen either on the driver load, or unload.

That said, as a general rule of thumb -- look at the type of detection. If it's a "heuristic" and not a direct signature match that the AV software reports, then it's likely a false positive.

It depends on the AV software. They usually have a detection message which tells you the cause of the detection, aka -- what tripped it, and gives a reason for the trip.
You'd need to look up what the claimed detection is (online), and find if it's a heuristic, or a signature.

Is it possible that the announcements in those channels aren't manually 'Published' by the mods/admins ?

The software that you're mentioning isn't an emulator actually, though it's still against the rules for another reason {in that it interferes with the proper loading and operation of the anti-cheat software}.
With the prerequisite that any potential solution can't involve disabling features that other software "requires", or changing OS:
-- Update drivers for every device that you can. {Chipset, etc}
-- Update or change BIOS {to another version}.
-- Disable or Enable Above 4G Decoding in BIOS.
-- Disable or Enable CSM in BIOS. [assuming that the OS was installed for UEFI boot]

having the same prob, and i think CS gave up with my case. Coz for my case i thought my character data was wiped out of the server and reseted. then one day my viewers told me my account is still in the server but with new IGN. when I go and take a look, yep its right there, new IGN and unplayed. after i told CS it seems like they just put the blame where i didn't make a strong password, which i did only i didn't bind it to any platform which causes the hacker to easily bind it to their account 😔
Despite that you might be discouraged, not all of these cases are identical. Would still recommend contacting customer support, opening a ticket, and seeing what they can do for you. {Any case of missing characters, a disassociated account, or anything else of that nature -- is something that would need to be investigated on a case by case basis}

Even if I get my account back, I still wouldn't invest my time or money to continue playing knowing the devs cared so little about these problems. What if this situation happens again in the future? Sure, not many people are affected, but account loss is still urgent, and therefore needs priorities. Sorry for the rant. this is purely subjective.

I don't think we need to send a feedback message about the security of the servers for this. I think if they took these cases a bit more seriously, we wouldn't be so angry. The only answers we're getting is that they're reviewing it from the relevant department, which isn't very encouraging, considering that we know absolutely nothing else...

Well I'm gonna say it here for all the people that lost there account after the update.
I contacted the support right after my problem, and some of my friend notified me of the disappearance of my account from my team and their friend list (Just to make sure no one say otherwise, my account is perfectly safe, I never shared it, nor did I share my email address or everything that could cause a security problem).
After 4 days of contact with the support the only thing I'm left with is that:
"There's a possibility that if those credentials or data you've given to us are correct, this account has been hacked."
I still have my account but my character disappeared but it is clearly easier to put the blame on the victim than find a solution or even give back all the money and time invested in this game.
For those who still got their account you better secure it like nothing else otherwise you might loose your character and never see it again

reduce your display setting will help reduce GPU usage. Game resolution has the most impact.
Yeah. All settings are low. 60fps and anti aliasing is off.
The fan is clogged as well since it has not been cleaned for like 6years. Not sure if that has impact.
yeah, 6 years old laptop is not good for this game. Try to play at 1440x900 or lower. Also, checking your GPU temperature when playing, don't let it getting too hot or it will die soon.
the worst thing is that it is practically impossible to talk to them, because they only respond with generic messages. But I really want to ask for my money back and forget about this game...

😢 we have the same situation here. and yes it seems like we were to blame for not making a secured password when we did make a secured password. I replied to their email if the money that i spend can be refunded. as the character in the server is not even played by the hacker.
Can you post pic about that issue and which device are you playing. If it is account issue, reinstall won't fix that problem.
It is true that the hacker is not even playing after taking the characters. I'm all those characters are or will to for sale when the issue is calmed down a little and that's even more frustrating knowing that someone will be making money out of what you did and those who a suppose to do something to help just look and do nothing. They do not even bother speaking about it or even apologising for the mess... :/

im using the same account and the same server from the day i started
- Open The Nvidia Control Panel.
- Choose Manage 3D Settings under 3D Settings from the menu.
- You can pick a graphics card from the drop-down box under the Program Settings tab if you want to use it for a particular program.
There are certain solution that you could try
- NVIDIA Control Panel for making your apps run into NVIDIA / GPU 1
- Windows Settings -> Graphic Settings to force run with High Performance which is your Graphic Cards
- Update your NVIDIA, which is sometime a problem because it's not recent update and causing the game not support the NVIDIA GPU
- Reinstall NVIDIA, seems that your GPU got a bug
- Reinstall Windows, Maybe OS is getting bug.
After that, make sure the game is running after the server selection and see if TOF is running in your correct GPU

@pastel hill Wow… sorry it happened to you too. Yeah, ive been dealing with this for a month now. It took them a week to respond the first time. A little quicker after that, but dont expect much. And they kept asking me for my UID, UN, Server, like the old messages werent linked or they couldnt see them. Idk i found myself repeating the problem a lot and them basically saying, “if you linked your account to another try that, if not, we’re scratching our heads too, but your info is not lost”… i just thought it would be easy if i have photos, videos, account access. Kinda felt they should have immediately recalled the game with all the issues. Well, everyone getting screwed is just hopping back on Genshin. Guess i got plenty on there to do too. Good luck.

yes, i guess i will end up playing genshin too, considering that there at least i don't lose the money i invest. I don't foresee a good future for this game, if they treat their players like this... I'm sorry you lost your character, as did many others, including me. I hope we have better luck in other games, because I'm sure we won't in this one...

If you didn’t link your account that’s kinda on your head
You shouldn't have to link account when everything should be connected to the email you use to login.

You're unbelievable, this isn't the sole issue here, we're also talking about the carelessness of the developers regarding every other technical flaws, their unresponsive and unhelpful customer service and the fact that they're just focused on adding content when we can't even enjoy it due to the aforementioned problems.

Just curious, can you get banned if you were in the vicinity of a hacker? I had joined a team to battle the dragon boss and encountered a hacker who basically soloed the dragon. Checked out his stats and he's No. 1 on the achievements leaderboard in my server despite being level 55 with 19k CS.
The hotfix ended and there is still no bosses
Is anyone else crashing from opening the map? Legit press M and crash. And has anyone solved the problem with the resolution staying small? Legit always have to adjust it in settings every time I get on the game.
The hotfix wasn’t to respawn the bosses it was to fix the description for the respawning

Probably a translation error. Try to switch language to english and check the error again. What could also happen, imo, is having too much people set as healer/tank/dps in weapon's page (top right corner, above the weapon resonance buff) (feel free to dm me in French tho)

Actually some players such as myself lost there account even with a binded account. I binded mine to google. I lost my character before the update as well. From what I understood. Some players lost there characters and some got theres back with binded account. To those who were fixed Some of those who were binded to a social platform are now logging in as tof accounts instead of binded accounts as well. This is an extreme mess.

for someone who has the same issue as me, "Character has been deleted/ lost character" Don't put your hope much for the resolution, I kept a contract with them for 10 days already but the issue never fix
maybe they will fix it but I don't think it will take in a short time (maybe 15 days or even months) 
Close the launcher and restart the game, seems to work for a lot of ppl, you can also try logging out and connecting again.

guys i need help, i actually got hacked at 19-9-2022, and the weird thing is that the hacker only pulled for claudia and her matrices ( he didnt even use all my pulls but he at least used 80), i did send a an email to support@toweroffantasy-global.com, in terms of customer support in game i tried something there but not sure if i succeeded (i also changed my password)
mine is stuck on updating with 0 progress lol
