forcing 4x MSAA will not increase performance of any game, in fact, it will make the performance worse. MSAA is an antialiasing stuff that will smoothen jagged lines on a game

Assuming that the former did not actually stop them. Do your bluescreens generate minidumps in "%SystemRoot%\Minidump"?
If they do, and if you could forward a few of them to me via DM's, would be happy to take a look at least.

If it's indeed a DNS issue, you may be able to try Google's DNS or Cloudflare's DNS instead of your ISP's provided.. Just the same, it may be a peering problem between your ISP and various parts of the Internet.

Your screenshot looks like it's at '1920x1080' desktop res. That should be sufficient space to fit the launcher, and so it's likely that you've encountered a DPI scaling issue here.

-- Start the Windows "settings" app
-- "System" > "Display" (from the left-tab, should be selected by default)

Check what your Display Scaling is set at, as for a 1080p display, you likely don't want this exceeding "100%".
If Windows has assigned over 100%, you can try manually lowering the scaling settings.

If the above doesn't work, and the game-window is still too large / does not fit:

Windows 10:
Under "Advanced Scaling Settings"

• Uncheck "Let Windows try to fix apps so they're not blurry"
• Set a custom scaling of 100%

Windows 11:

• Click on the caret to the right of the DPI scale option.
• Set a custom scaling of 100%

I'm not well versed in Intel's driver settings. You might see if there's any texture quality settings. I do know that you can create gaps between terrain chunks / tiles on older AMD drivers in the game by setting 'performance mode' -- and that might be what you're seeing here.

Short of that, unfortunately Intel's IGP's are known to have visual defects and various artifacts. I'd recommend trying to write Intel's support, and infact have done so myself as well here. Enough people filing tickets for the game may improve the speed that Intel's driver team looks in to it.

Some people on Windows 11 have found that moving to Windows 10 halted their bluescreens. However, the same can be said in the other direction as well.

It's not universal that either OS is free of these problems, and there's players on both Windows 10 and 11 who do not have BSOD's.

I checked task manager and my RAM usage goes to 99 while it's stuck (16GB RAM). I've tried to wait it out, but after 10 minutes or so in not-responding state, I get a message in game that the server is disconnected.

the downside to that is that it's Windows capture. It leaves an annoying yellow border around the monitor edges.
It does make TOF work, but at the cost of having a yellow border sticking out to the sides

Okay, so I noticed when launching the game there's a very loud low-frequency sound. I only seem to crash when using my speakers/subwoofer, not headphones, so I'm guessing it's a case of this ridiculously loud sound causing my subwoofer to draw enough power that the outlet can't power my PC. If anyone else is still encountering Login Status Exception, exiting the game! error, you just have to run the game as an administrator. Make sure to close the game and the launcher completely first by ending any processes related to ToF in Task Manager. Then just right click the shortcut and run as admin. Now if you are trying to log in the client with gmail or anything that prompts a browser tab to open and nothing opens, it means that you weren't able to run ToF as an admin properly. In that case try to make your user an admin using an existing admin user.

How do you fix most of the login problems?

Follow this Guide.

1. Make sure to run the ToF Launcher (not the game)
2. Open Taskmanager, select ToF and end the process.
3. Open the game folder (Tower of Fantasy/launcher/intl service/)
   and delete the file "intl_service.exe"
4. Close down any windows and start the game as administrator if possible
   otherwise just start the game!

If this didnt work it might help to go to the Website and download the latest launcher.
You can install the new launcher on top of the old.
