Trying to fix a old mod but requires me to grab player data on player radiation damage over time by radiation fields and water.
My only understanding is that it uses
- radiation_v for dissipation of radiation on character
- uses hit type 3 for damage?
- db.actor.radiation = total player radiation?
Does that seem remotely correct?

the box mesh athi is using and I also use is in each of the tan hud ogfs
maybe add the texture to the box mesh for the laser dot, and then see if sizing it up makes it bigger via the texture within blender first to test

I noticed that NPCs and players have different body armor. I really liked the bulletproof vest on the NPC. Is there any way to fix the situation?
I managed to find out the identifier of the 63242 armored suit in the console, at least this number pops up in the console if this suit is disassembled or repaired.
I also have a small language barrier, and it was translated by a translator from Russian -_-.
You can change your third person model by finding the model name and making an LTX file that changes it. I'm making my own mod that changes most of the player's 3rd person armors with ones from Dux's models
If you have debug mode, you can aim at the Mercenary, press F7, then F to get the name of the OGF file. You can then make a file that has this text, but replace stalker_mercenary3_with_black_vest.ogf with the model you found

i am talking about something else, i.e. how sections within separate .ltx files are imported into others, like how weapon .ltx files have their sections imported into system.ltx

Well, as I understand it, the game opens the texture file of another armored suit due to the lack of a path to the desired one.
if it did lack a path to the specified .ogf it would probably crash
what is happening with alchem's mod is that the model for that armor when the player is wearing it, is being changed to another model, which is from the dux character models mod
the path doesn't exist when you look in anomaly/gamedata because it is effectively injected via MO2's virtual file system when you launch Anomaly with it
I'd know since I had several crashes while trying to add my retextured hand models 
well, there's a lot of animation in the hands 😉 I think it'll be easier with the legs
especially since bots don't crash, although they might have different animations, I haven't looked closely
@dire fable Finished with it, just install it like any other mod and the specter sight, specter/rmr kit, and built in specters should be 1x - 8x.

just setup the dummy and make the silencer icons without the name on it

and use that for the silencer icons, probably best to format it like BAS positions are, or else all the silencers will be super off center from the guns muzzle

It actually might not work now they I think about it. When you set the silencer you set the icon along with it. The scopes allow you to set a different icon
The closest you might get is using dii to setup names you can toggle on the icons

And, there is no good way of making them apply only to some icons
So basically if you use DII either all icons are compatible or you don't use it. Which is a very simple probem to solve, if the author made it redistributable library

I did see it and consider it for the food mods I have, but I didn't know it could be adapted for other icons too

Does anyone happen to know if a gun's world model recognizes any bones other than wpn_body, wpn_silencer, and wpn_launcher?
I always just remove the motion reference and keep the wpn_body and silencer bones if the gun retains it, I don’t think it reads on any other bones

But if it has a bone named body under wpn_body it needs to stay or else the world model crashes

Definitely not underused, because the purified mutant food is pretty good and more importantly long

Working with the config files this last weeks i was asking myself why not to add more than one sfx for consuming items, or other kinds of animatios
Okay for FDDA you do need to rewrite the script to instead select from an array
FDDA only supports ONE sound per item
For harvesting i am not sure, but iirc it is set in the script.
Though that means you need to edit it anyway
It's not hard to select from an array instead. Problem is Lua. I am not sure if there is simple way of knowing the array/dictionary size to set as max

trying to fix iwp vintorez reanimation mod which adds a few vss variants but has some issues like, having incorrect magazine size and locked to semi auto
unless its getting overwriten by a another file with dltx
i was able to change to mag size with just editing this file alone

the basic model vss
it appears to share the ltx file with the tactical one, atleast i cant find a seperate file for the tactical
Fire modes options : -1 for full auto, 1 for semi, 3 for triple
If you want full auto just put -1
mod_system_zzz_VSSedit or something like that
can you zip up the file you're editing?
