How are you liking it? I treid it for a little but but it bothered me that its even more destructive than blender, I was hoping it would be more similar to something like fusion 360 in that I can adjust all my bevels later trough a timeline

Does someone know how I can tweak actor damage so you actually bleed every once in a while? I can go through entire firefights, get hit multiple times wearing a jacket and I never have to use a single bandage. I'm suspecting GADB but there's no explicit mention of bleeding in there and even with it disabled, the chances seem to be low.

does anyone have any experience with file merging? i need to understand what it does how it works, and does it work with 2 seperate addons
or maybe a program that can merge files?
what are you trying to merge, and what is your goal
I was testing 2 hd models on old saves and realized that "HD models for gamma" and "kvma model merge" were compatible on old saves model wise. The only diffrent factor was hd models have diffrent squad simulations from kvma. So in practice when swapping kvma from hd models, entering new territory will give a ctd on missing squad simulations (from hd models) i figured if i could merge the 2 files into one soup file i can prioritize using kvma, while keeping the simulation side from hd models active.
Since kvma always has the higher priority on the mod order regardless it being on high priority or low priority, hd models' squad simulation does not become active
in mo2 this should not be the case though? if two mods both provide a copy of the same file, MO2 always picks the one with the larger priority number to win the overwrite?
as for a merge it should be as simple as comparing the two files with any comparison plugin (I use the Compare plugin on Notepad++) and then copy pasting the sections you like to a new file, that you then turn into its own patch
there are no auto-mergers here, and i actually don't know of any merger programs for modding that don't at least force the user to choose which mod(s) win the merges

Ill try high prioritizing hd models before kvma and see where it goes from there
OR, you can find and hide the copy of the squad simulation file from KVMAS. This way, you can set KVMAS to have higher priority than HD Models (so that its models load) but it uses the HD Models squad simulation file

I will have to compare both files first though to see if there are any diffrence by file names, so i can find the anomaly
As of now, i dont have the grasp to understand the simulation logic behind the squads, searching through the gamedata, i wasn't able to find the source of how the simulation of npcs for both gamedata. Ill probably look into this some other time, the only positive outcome from this was both hd models and kvma can coexist with their individual models, the negative outcome is the npc simulation for both gamedata are too diffrent, hence kvma is overriding the npc simulation from the old savefile

The only thing that sucks about molotov is the bandits and renegades get a lot of them and they will easily kill you or chunk your outfit health by 15-30%

you have to add the suppressor to those and then set those edited ogf as a higher priority over the 3dss ones

Find scripts/z_neutral_zone.script file in this addon, there is a line like
faction = "duty"
Replace it with
faction = "ecolog"
It will make bar neutral for all factions except bandits, renegades, monolith and sin

trying to get variable zoom to function for the 1P59 scope on gunslinger mod VSS, set dynamic_scope_zoom =off to "on" but it didnt fix it, now after that its gone from being perma stuck to 8X to being 1X but still cant use scroll wheel to change it

I would suggest inverse engineering an existing weapon addon with mags

instructions for mags configs are inside the mags redux mod
that mod comes with a guide for modders
if there isn't literally a "modders read this", just look at the comments for the various configs
Look at how other weapon mods have done it and reverse engineer it. I'd suggest looking at a mod that only adds one weapon. The mags setup can be a bit confusing if you look at all of it all at once

The weapon values are like this as well. I couldnβt be arsed figuring it out so just played around with the values till I got what I needed. This might be a workaround for you until you learn the formula if there is one. I think the config values can go above 1.0

There is a mod on the modlist called "EFT footsteps and tinnitus 1.1". It's on by default. Turning it off doesn't seem to do anything in regards to the tinnitus sounds. Does anyone know what it's for exactly?
You need correct level sources
You can't just use CoP levels or CoC levels because they aren't the same as anomaly
I dont think it was his despawner, and i already have it at 20 (I think its default?). There a mention on the patch notes saying north maps have less stalker spawns until you reach a certain point in story progression, which was then switched to when you unlock the psy helmet. I think I found it already, and in terms of the maps being empty I already have a mod that adds in stalker and mutant spawns artificially.
You can look it up directly in the mod list. Try searching "north" and it sould pop up

try attaching that one, if not go into the gun config and locate the scopes section, look for the Holo and see if the values look right compared to other scopes

the old one has the eot (default) in the script text, i changed it to e0t2 (the fancy one) because the model was the exps, i looked at the debug names for the sights and they looked correct
and the details menu says its correct too, not to mention that it shows up as attachable, just that it cant take the scope

After playing Stalker Anomaly, GAMMA namely, for a couple of days, I kinda stumbled over the idea of tweaking some of the sounds. While going the basics like footsteps and UI SFX, I tried to cover some more complet effects like this blowout effect. Just a personal work.
As its just a quick mock-up with some SFX, there are still some Clicks here...
The sound in game in combination with some other sounds for the lightnings and stuff.
You'll find the pelts drop rate in the mutant_loot.ltx, you can edit their percentage chance there. Their condition is regulated by the artifact system last I remember. The pelts never degrade.
You can find the min and max condition drop rate in the AXR_options.ltx
The exo recipe you'll find the drop chance as recipe_ammo_4 in the file death_items.ltx

3rd party Apps suck too hard and it is only Stalker Gamma, that hurt my little feelings :p. My ADHD brain cannot stop to play this game as an inventory simulator and I want to use my time better than that. Even with medication I need additional help achieving this goal XD, besides I also want to study physics and the urge to "only" fix this particular gun or only get all those resources from A to B hinders me quite a lot in this endeavor, since it is never only this one task XD XD XD. Whaaaat 3 dogs bit my legs and now I can't run as quick and need to heal my legs??? For now I satisfied myself with the option to let windows quit Stalker forcibly at certain timings via task scheduler directly from windows. Anyway to see a preset timer ingame after which the game closes would help me to get stuff done in the game enormously. Call it what you will, but my disability does not allow me to make use of such funny ideas like a clock or a timer on my phone. I do set them, I do use them and still... It needs to have a real consequence which I cannot control, or my brain will just go around it and ignore it. It is what it is and I tried a lot in terms of tweaking this shit. I had some Lsd trips and they helped enormously in terms of recognizing certain patterns, I have researched a ton about it in the actual science field, but in the end I cannot defeat my biochemistry.
The alternative would be to just code it myself, but then I would have to learn how to code XD Maybe someone can relate.

that's actually a really good idea, maybe you could somehow get both the configs and scripts for the achievements and make it into a variable for the new game loadouts, similar to how depending on the difficulty your loadout will change, but idk if x-ray would melt with something like that
what would be easier is basically just edit the loadouts without messing with achievements

or faction exclusive weapons being available to other factions of the same side

I think steam has a timer feature on its overlay if there is a way to get it to work with gamma
you need x achievement for y change to apply
similar to how achievements unlock factions to choose in the new game menu
yeah, you can probably make a script that tracks if X achievement has been completed, and then add a variable for the loadouts
idk much about scripting tho, I know how to slightly modify a script without fucking it up so I could be completely wrong here
or maybe
create three different new_game_loadout scripts and make the achievement load different loadouts depending on your progress

then how does the game track whether you can start with isg during the first boot up of the game (ignoring that you can just type it)
You can piggyback on mcm and inject into the loadouts
that info is saved in the axr_main script (ui_mm_faction_select actually)
it gets edited and saved when you get the achievement in-game

If you use reshade you could enable the option to show the time on the top right too. I don't know of any solid solutions tho
