Yeah, it's inconvenient for me (the user) because I have to yknow, pay for shit. On the other hand, I think the modder can deserve some compensation for their work.

What I deem as acceptable is something like: Free version of the mod that does 90% of the thing, Premium version that does the remaining 10%.

Unlocking the Premium should be something like a one time payment of less than 5 USD. Subscriptions are like you said, pretty exploitative as you don't even know if the modder will ever release another update in which case, get bent, because you've been sending monthly payments to someone for absolutely nothing.

It’s been a while since I last saw it. I am pretty sure it explained some stuff at the very least. Was pretty modular.

While my video does have an explanation for Stalker damage against the player (been a while so I am unsure if I explained damage against an NPC Stalker), reading the code gives the full picture.

if you mean formulas for when npcs shoot you, then it's a check to see if the ap of the bullet that the npc uses is >= the BR class of your armor + attachments, if it is greater then your damage reduction is just your suit br% + your br% from attachments and consumables, if it's not greater then your damage reduction (currently as of 0.9.4, this will change in 0.9.5) is (1.3 * BR class of armor and attachments + 0.2 * suit br%) + br% from attachments and consumables

the formula for 0.9.5 is unchanged for penetrating shots, but for nonpen it's something like damage * BR class premitigation (new stat don't worry about it) * br% of suit and attachments/consumables

for the record neither of these calculators (they're the same calculator) do mutant numbers correctly

theres in game antialiasing, there could potentially be reshade antialising, dlls/fsr does antialiasing and your control panels probably has some options for antialiasing active also

lower speed should make more consistent aa edge estimation and the dlss/fsr should upscale in a way more consistent, should reduce shimmer if you lower the speeds
