There is a lot of blood vessels in that area but it’s also a small area so a body should realistically be able to clot it up fast enough to avoid death by massive haemorrhaging for a little while

I find the canted sights pretty good in this game honestly, the SVDS PMC atleast was perfect

You have to remember though, in the time it takes the rpk-16 to fire 20 rounds, the scar has only fired 16. 16x59=944 and 20x38 is 760. So in a time of 1.6 secconds it can get around 200 more damage sure. But then the scar has to reload which is fair to say takes about 3 seccond. Whereas in those 3 seccond the rpk-16 is still firing and getting another 1520 damage totalling to 2260 in a full mag. Add that onto the ammo being cheaper to make aswell, and that’s a big difference.

Further, the br may be lower, but only by a tier: a maximum of 1-2 extra shots is needed to break the armour and have the exact same affect as a higher ap tier bullet. Does that mean it will perform worse at range where it’s harder to get a burst all on the same piece of armour? Yes, but that’s why i carry a vssk and have an ASWM in my stash

the point being you only need 1-2 rounds from the scar to kill even the most heavily armored stalker, the RPK-16 you need probably 2-4, magazine capacity is great but personally I never had any issue with the scars 20 round capacity since I dont generally full auto anything in this game really

so the extra fire rate doesnt mean much for me, I am pretty frugal with my ammo

especially the more expensive AP rounds

later in the game it doesnt really matter too much

I just figure, less bullet needed but slower fire rate and more expensive bullet cancel each other out. Then it just becomes an attachment and mag games. If i were playing with the mags mod i’d absolute go scar on account of it having better scopes and a ubgl mount, but i’m not, so mag size wins

The vector fires at 1100 rpm, or 18.3 recurring rounds per second. With hydra shock that’s ~800 damage and with 9x19 hp it’s ~600 so you’d need a little over a second to kill one

the Kriss Vector has a built in recoil system that puts the force downward so its not too bad it basically suppresses its own recoil

Got to remember that the built in recoil compensation system only does vertical as the weight in front of the magazine is only moving up and down, horizontal recoil and backward kick is still present making felt recoil and rotational recoil still a challenge

yes but after the initial shot you control the recoil, and its absorbed by the shoulder, if you are resting your cheek on the weapon your head will also move with the weapon a little bit

But yeah, when you’re firing .45 at that rate out of a package as light at a KRISS vector, is it a hard thing to hold down. It’s manageable of course, but it’s not easy and it does make shots at targets at mid range or properly tracking a moving target, quite hard. Should you be full blasting the full mag? No, but in stalker chimeras luckily run in a straight line

I got one super early in meadows but unfortunately died and when i loaded the save the stash i found it in wasn’t there anymore, but i’ve since found it multiple times and it’s not better than the ssp-99

My current kit is ssp-99 with improved surge protector, lobster eyes, moonlight, shell, gravi, improved body cooler, and chimera hide. Since 3 of those are already on my main suit (hide, cooler, and gravi) the extra kit only comes out to about 10kg

And it’s enough to survive the agro psy field without a psy helmet at 87% resist whilst all anom resists are at least 70

• Broken health HUD (all red)
• Can't do any animated actions (use meds, eat food)
• Crashing on area transition
• Can't open inventory
  Highly recommend turn on 412- Busyhands Detection and Blame - RavenAscendant mod to detect if it is really busy hands, and if so then which script caused it. Also keep it on to prevent further long term busy hands that make you lost a lot of progress. Noted that it can't 100% detect all busy hands, so common sense is still the best way
