yeah but there's breakpoints at which you start spending more or less stamina

there's also movement speed modifiers from the suit, the gun you're holding, and also your current carry weight

there's also uneven terrain that can full stop you on a 1px bump but you're still sprinting as far as the game is concerned even during acceleration

but no stamina isn't affected by fps

it has stamina consumption modifiers for going through water, going up hills (even if small), going through bushes, all that shit

but like i insist it's the things i listed earlier

My knowledge so far: 1) Companions do not need heals, food or ammo. This means all companions. If a companion gets injured they heal on their own. 2) Only weapons. You need external mods to make them wear armor.

hey fellas, thinking of upgrading the old rig, and have already got a new ddr4 8g ram stick on the way. I figured though that I should take a look at my storage, and saw that I've got a 1tb hdd and a 250 gig m.2 sdd. Any suggestions about which/if I should replace, and if so, what would be an ideal read speed for stalker gamma? I've done some looking already and was astounded to see that sata ssds have only 500mb/s roughly whereas on the nvme I could get 6000 mb/s for about the same price, but I don't know if that difference actually matters at all.

For future searches, in case anyone else experiences this issue: I managed to fix my underbarrel-grenadelauncher-not-working issue. For GP25, VOG-25 is the correct ammo & the problem was keybinding issue. It turns out ESC > Settings > (Sight Aim Mode Toggle) and (Switch To Under-Barrel Launcher) were both competing for 'V' and the latter was not assigned. Assigned it to NumPad 7 and it works now.

ive been playing gamma for years now and have never had an issue with installing and updating. But i might want to use the GOG version for the novelty. Are there any benefits to doing that besides for fun? And will the upcoming update even be on gog day 1?

There are no benefits besides easier install, you need to own COP EE or Stalker 2 on GOG too.

I imagine the update will be available on release day but I am not sure.

Enable soft particles in your settings but it's probably an issue with whatever anomaly mod you got, it's not pointing to the right shader or missing a texture

I have soft particles turned on, do you maybe know any other settings that I should check? I have a fresh install of gamma and, me and another guy, had issues with reticles so I think some settings might be messed up with newest instals but still, got nay other ideas?

@kind vigil To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.
