@grave mountain "Busyhands" is the name of a bug that softlocks your game by preventing you from performing basic game functions, common signs include:
- Broken health HUD (all red)
- Can't do any animated actions (use meds, eat food)
- Crashing on area transition
- Can't open inventory
Highly recommend turn on412- Busyhands Detection and Blame - RavenAscendantmod to detect if it is really busy hands, and if so then which script caused it. Also keep it on to prevent further long term busy hands that make you lost a lot of progress. Noted that it can't 100% detect all busy hands, so common sense is still the best way
If you have it, reload an older save. Eventually this may not work anymore, you'll be in permanent busy hands, then it's time to start a new game. Read more here: #╭📖faq message

There’s a distaste for the reload anim despite it being basically identical to any pump shotgun + maybe 2 seconds
You do get 12 shells out of it, nowadays ATHI also made the shell loading anim a bit faster so its even more on par with pump shotguns
The ppsh is great but i'd say try the shotty
Nimble variant of the Protecta now also unlocks attachment affinity, so you can slap a nice magnified optic on it

the way it works in gamma is, that each gun has a set base damage, svd has 110, and each bullet has a damage multiplier
7.62x54 has x0.85% and 5.56x45 has x1.05%
it doesent make sense but it just works
it works in both ways, putting 7.62x54 in an sks reduces its damage by some 20%
so with 556 svd does more damage, even though the caliber is smaller? That makes zero sense xd

I play with mags so I honestly find it economical to use pretty much every type of round. I never purchase anything but FMJ, but I do craft a lot of AP and of course HP. AP reserved for military and merc encounters so far for me
guys I found a new bug I guess. So you know how when you load a shotgun and do not have enough shells of the type to fill the whole magasine and it fills it with shells of other type right? well if you do that and then unload the weapon (for me I exchanged one part) all the shells will turn into the type that was last loaded into the weapon

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

ATHI actually did a ton of work to clear off debug guns and redirect them to actually usable ones
basically in charge of the gun portion of gamma, which is good 
yeah but bro chose the literal worst path around it like who in their right mind would have thought to replace debug sections with clones of regular guns
nothing was learned from the "15 different (same) five sevens in debug" episode
quick and dirty method, probably done while being told about the "i tried removing debug guns, they just kept multiplying on npc bodies"

at least debug isn't spammed with copypasted icons of the same gun and some were outright hidden much like the M60 was

PSA: Came back to update after 6 months, had the 551 mods instead of 554 mods problem. Full-updated four or five times, made firewall exceptions, turned firewall off during the download, nothing worked EXCEPT re-downloading the original RC3.7z zip again, manually extracting it into the GAMMA folder, and full-updating it from the launcher one more time.
Just in case people keep asking about that shit. Cause someone will.

@ruby fossil "Busyhands" is the name of a bug that softlocks your game by preventing you from performing basic game functions, common signs include:
- Broken health HUD (all red)
- Can't do any animated actions (use meds, eat food)
- Crashing on area transition
- Can't open inventory
Highly recommend turn on412- Busyhands Detection and Blame - RavenAscendantmod to detect if it is really busy hands, and if so then which script caused it. Also keep it on to prevent further long term busy hands that make you lost a lot of progress. Noted that it can't 100% detect all busy hands, so common sense is still the best way
If you have it, reload an older save. Eventually this may not work anymore, you'll be in permanent busy hands, then it's time to start a new game. Read more here: #╭📖faq message

gamma was designed around hard/hard and anything not on those difficulties ranges from hilarious to absurd
like even in survivalist you're swimming in cash after a few quests but on tourist you're set for life after putting down some dogs for duty

It impacts a bunch of things, mainly the chance of artifact spawns, certain items are locked out of the initial loadout options, the chance of attachments (silencers, scopes, GL) on npcs is also defined somewhat by progression difficulty.
Other than that it changes goodwill rewards, the money rewards, buy/sell prices, loot factor, stash chances, weapon degradation, battery consumption, restock timers and shitty things like limited bolts by default
Settings range from +50% for things like money rewards +50% price of items, etc
Like momo said, there's an absurd gap

so like yeah you maybe won't see an artefact in an anomaly field after an emission but just wait idk like 30 seconds and the entire map will have artefacts to pick up anyways

for stalkers, get your paws on a 5 - 7 pistol, ap damage, automatic, and above all other pistols, it looks the coolest
best pistol really depends on what you define as best
FN57 might just be the sidearm for cqc against stalkers whenever I carry a high power sniper rifle and something else for mutants. 9x19 AP just doesn’t cut it imo
best for me would be instantly the auto glock
because it's 9x19 so you get access to all 3 ammo types
and a silencer
and a 40 deep mag
it's like a no brainer
but sure 9x19hp is nowhere near as damaging as hydra
One thing great about .357 is the MP412 Rex doesn’t use mags.

Not really. The high flesh damage of the Hydrashok mitigates a lot of its weakness with penetrating armour. Plus against unarmored stalkers it’s amazing
yeah but when you have 3 chimeras breathing down your neck or a pseudogiant or 2 bloodsuckers want to get really friendly with you, you're gonna want that mags
but you could, you know, just hit a headshot
