no, no mods. Usually stock was not visible but now weapon is moved a bit on the screen. I last played gamma long time ago

other than the wacky ass position, from what I can see there guns have been made so that they point to the center of screen (because otherwise I literally can't find an explaination as to why the viewmodel would look like that). so if guns already point to the center of the screen and the player gets to have an actual reference of where the bullet will land, lasers are completely useless and redundant
which also suggests that athi bothered to make all laser meshes be completely aligned with the barrel, repositioned every single gun just to make lasers unnecessary

The fourth arena fight in Rostock is genuinely impossible. It’s not because fighting three guys is particularly difficult, it’s because you have a bunch of allies that look exactly the same as the people you’re supposed to be killing. They do not shoot at the enemy and just wander around aimlessly. I have died at least 10 times at this point because I can’t tell who is an ally and who I’m supposed to be shooting at

It’s not a matter of skill in this instance. This is just flat out bad conceptually. You cannot tell in a split second who an ally is from the people you’re supposed to be shooting at, least of all because they make no effort to advance or shoot at the enemies. Every single time you see a target you have to wonder if that’s an ally or an enemy. That’s not skill, that’s random chance.
The only thing I can get good at is seeing how fast I can get back into the fight from a reload and roll the dice again to see if the people I’m shooting at our allies or enemies.

I'd start with a compass, empty, full empty and balance it from there. Maybe add a heart of the oasis and a chimera or pseudogiant pelt or something. Idk if it's meta but I think it's a good balance
I go for compass full empty fireball and then the rest should try to balance out the negatives, heart of the oasis is good and you can add maybe a pseudo giant hide or a chimera hide, higher belt slot armours are where I would add an empty

Isn't there a problem with lasers ? They are invisible when lit (unless I use free zoom then they appear normally) and show up when aiming. It should be the other way around, meaning they should appear normally except when aiming where they would disappear...
Also does it with weapon lasers btw, it's not just for this specific red dot sight's integrated laser pointer.

had one of those oh "fuck moments" while doing a monolith assassination mission tones of sin and monos at red forest (naturally) so had to try and figure out where the target is, killed the target turn around to flee back towards Jupiter and find a squad of sin and monos behind me alerted to my shot!
threw a grenade in panic which landed in a nearby tree fortunately 4 of the 6 man squad ate shrapnel, made a fighting retreat back to Jupiter.

Yeah, their cave is really unfortunately placed. I've taken to fast travelling past it after BS using a guide, just so I don't have to whack Chernobog early and fuck my playthrough
On the plus side though there always seems to be a battle with Sin and either Mercs or Loners. Lotta loot you can ninja if you can avoid poking the main cave.
RF for me also has a stash by Forester so I'm taking my chances. Fingers crossed I get lucky with an Expert. It's never happened to me to get it first stash North of the barrier but who knows, might get one time lucky.
If I may give you a tip for the cave, sneak in until you start to see the bonfire on the right, and throw 1-2 grenades at it. Grenades seem to ignore their shields that make them so tanky to bullets
Doing that makes the cave much much easier
Just run back towards the entrance after and shoot them from afar
An AK with HP generally makes short work of them as well as long as you can manage to land a few headshots.
The biggest issue I usually have is the flinching when they hit you throwing off my aim
Sin doesn't seem to have that flinch. At least not that I recall. It's been a while since I've fought them. Been quite a few patches.

I creep through and finally get to Forester's compound area, don't save the entire way there, and then the game fucking crashes as soon as I open the gate at the wall.
you use hollow points on them more commonly because more often than not sin mobs spawn with really low armor models
The damn crashes in Red Forest are about as dangerous as the chimeras and Sin
so you don't have any armor to go through basically and just want to skip the 70% damage reduction with the hollow ppints
but really just fmj and aim for the head as with any other human mob in the game nosorog or not

yes sin does take an additional 1 or 2 headshots because of the damage reduction but it's basically the same

You will have a rough time in the northern areas with almost no rad resistance. I also started a unisg run, but I started in Darkscape "naked" (no points used and I threw away the PDA, detector, etc). I had to go through Cordon first so I could make something work on the bandits with just the knife.
So
I did this for my current playthrough to test it out, and I've been noticing an oddity.
It seems all guns an NPC loots will share the same conditions for all their parts.
not sure if it's the same case for outfits as well.
To specify, I'm not saying all parts in a gun will have the same condition %'s, but what I mean is one gun will have parts with randomly generated part conditions, yet all those said part conditions seem to get copied & pasted to all the other guns in that NPC's inventory.
So idk if the NPC's OG gun part conditions are what's initially copied over or what.
Needless to say, as a rookie I've already looted an SVD with a green barrel in Cordon

Just unsure if this issue is something only I'm experiencing or it's normal for this to happen when one disables those mods in the modlist.
this is probably the fault of the loot stabilizer, Grok spent some time changing how it works after a few months of "omg why do i find 4 green parts in one gun" and "why are all my gun parts at 1%"
as of testing and seeing what others say this issue was more or less fixed and green parts will be less common in the upcoming update
You can always disable the Momopate's Loot Stabilizer for the time being or try grabbing the new scripts from #📢development and replacing the existing ones

I understand the thought process behind avoiding savescumming, but man does it become annoying when you're in a heated battle that results in tons of player deaths and all the body markers just disappear 
the current patch in main gamma has only parts generation for guns enabled in the script
everything else is disabled

@steep elm Anomaly has a limit of a total of 65535 objects (IDs) in the game. Whenever the game engine generates a new enemy with items, it tags the object ID number to the enemy unit and its items.
The same goes for traders & their items, every time you interact with the trader and visit a new place and kill an enemy and check their loot, you make the game engine generate ID numbers. If that ID number reaches 65535, the game crashes, and you won't be able to play anymore on that same game file, unless you "free" some IDs.
You can lower the amount of used IDs by letting items despawn or by selling/donating them at any trader.
and hey, I just treat it as second-nature loot hoarding just as I do

So what about when you leave a region? Do NPC inventories reset or do they keep what they have until you come back and loot them?

Afaik Npc inventories are set the moment they spawn on any map and they are stored “globally” so .. no they won’t get reset.
Not 100% sure .. but it should be the case.

"the moment" thing is kinda funny cause NPCs start spawn in one area of a base so when you fast travel right away they spread out from one spot

I mean it makes sense since as soon as you start a new game you are at around 35k ID’s or something.
Anyway you need to hoard like really badly and/or have npc spawns set pretty high to get to the ID limit, you can check by opening the console and type “save” it will tell you the amount you are at.

So you want the NPCs to not see you through foliage anymore? Well, you're in luck.
They don't see you through bushes already.
There are now THREE ways to further circumvent the issue:
- You can learn how to properly position yourself, how to flank enemies or retreat so they lose track of you. Fight enemies dynamically and outsmart the AI, don't sit in a bush or walk into one thinking they will forget you. Get better at the game. Enemies react to to sound and hear bushes rustling. Avoid that.
- Download and enable this mod: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/152dltx-smaller-bushes to, per se, level the playing field, making some locations feel incredibly empty, whilst keeping bushes about knee high.

like think about it, it's just a thump sound with a very short falloff for obvious reasons, throwing a small non luminous (as in tracer) projectile, that travels at close to 100m/s that doesn't have a flying sound or anything
and they don't have a switch animation nor an increased aiming time frame to telegraph the grenade launch

Idk if i could explain it properly but:
Im in this place, then a merc sees me, he is ready to shoot the grenade (that could went until here), and the game spawns a HUD element with animation (in BIG) advertising that the merc it's launching that grenade from x side, then i have a few seconds for change my position and avoid that grenade, when the grenade impacts, the element dissapears.
I tried to found screenshots with that HUD element in specific but i couldn't
eh i don't think that solves the issue either really
moreover as you said it's only on the lower difficulties
which means higher difficulties embrace the bad game design behind npc ubgls

of course not realistic at all but you also don't instantly die if you take a hit to the head or get a game over for taking a hit to the middle of your back
