How exactly does the shenanigans mod work? I lost my last two 1 life invictus characters on transitions. I thought I was supposed to be immune for 5 seconds or something.
the idea was to grant the player temporary immunity after switching to a different map, it might not work with fast travel or other methods of travel between zones
and i'm not certain when exactly the timer starts, you can always try extending the timer from 5s to 20 in mod config menu
i transitioned from rostok to army on this run, there was like 0 protection lol

i save scummed but it felt cheesy, I have a few wins already with 0 death invictus but this is the 2nd time it happened so I said fk it
my last char was a end game merc run, went from garbage to DV and got killed in the dark by a master duty, i accepted that death
i'd have to enable debug and see when exactly the immunity is granted and when it voids to tell
i assume it's on the moment you press a key to get into the game but i also know that the game is still "active" during the last seconds of the load screen

just find the mod > right click > open in explorer > find the weapons config file > find the line that says the ammo it uses (numberxnumber_fmj whatever blah blah) > change to your desired ammo name > done

the hardest part is finding the section name of the ammo you want (the engine name)

uh, there is something very wrong with my exo, it's a merc exo and I made a few upgrades to it, mostly the ability to run
I went to the south ti recover stuff I might have left on random containers in cordon, when I went up to rostok my armor suddenly lost the ability to run, description says it can't run, but shows I have the upgrade and I have an experimental PSU with energy, most fcked up thing is I went back a few saves where I was running a few seconds ago and now I have the same problem in that save, for no fcking reason

That's really weird, sounds like some peak STALKER jank. Try restarting the game? Sometimes reloading a save isn't enough to fix certain bits of strangeness.

Is ability to "cancel" a package in undesirable location (Swamps, Darkscape etc) exists as a separate sub-addon or is it integrated in latest versions of RF Hidden Packages? Because when I installed it on vanilla Anomaly(my own reasons), there is no option to cancel a package

If it's about stats then that's trivial. 3% more handling, 2% more accuracy do not amount to much at all

Sometimes quest markers are bugged, happened to me a few times in Jupiter and Outskirts finding my quest item randomly not at all at the marker (especially for anomaly sample quests)...

In GAMMA, it seems that the default key binding “slot 1” cannot normally be changed.
What I want to do is use the G key for the detector, but whenever I load a save, the G key resets back to “drop item”.
Is there a way to keep the G key bound to the detector instead of dropping items?
I'd check to make sure your Anomaly folder/user.ltx aren't set to read-only. That might be preventing them from being saved.
My G key is for quick grenade launch and don't reset back so I guess yes ? (Change it through the in-game menu)

if you go to limansk and return, all mercs should spawn behind the base and slowly move towards it while traders and other remain inside
probably a good strat would be to toss a nade and hide until traders and other return to their spots and de-aggro as they might come looking for you
then go back and loot the bodies

You were right, approaching the level transition from behind forced me to Radar. But I still managed to loot more bodies than I otherwise would have, including a few that were way behind the transition zone, so that's nice ^~^

this reminded me of some old mod (maybe it was coc?) in which doc traveled from his hole to the clear sky base every day or night or something like that and he could potentially die on his way from one location to the other so if you wanted to start the main quest you had to either rush to him before he dies or somehow find his corpse among the water and reeds and grab the documentes from him. good times

For the most part, yeah. The KS-12 and RAPTR are still good though as 12g can be used effectively against all mutants in rapid fire while the KSG-23 requires some good aiming on your end - the KSG-23's ammo is pretty overkill against some smaller mutants and you can usually only carry so much. It's also pretty needy on crafting mats (requires red gunpowder), so I'd recommend just buying it's 23mm ammo outright.

weirdly enough, I basically have infinite gunpowder. some ammo needs more casing, some ammo needs more bullets, but gunpowder is never the bottleneck. I think it's because I've obsessively disassembled every powder can I've seen all game. after I found the gun, I was able to craft 500 rounds pretty easily
I think the biggest difference this run, that's saved me so many shotgun resources, is that I've been buying a lot of 5.45 HP from the two hunters for super cheap. 45 hydra is also easy to craft. so I haven't been using shotguns as much I usually do
the ammo is heavy, though. if I found a RAPTR, I'd definitely repair that too. I love my benelli M4 so much, but it doesn't help me much against pseuds. right now I'm just endgame farming to try and assemble my desired artifact loadout before I clear up any story missions I haven't done.
I really don't like the re-usable injector animation. I would rather the syringe animation, even if it was lower quality. And, honestly, the metamizole animation would be great for stimpaks.

Well, there should have been a mission marker at the MM entrance and Sakharov doing some comments when entering and exiting after finishing.

sin worship the zone, monolith worship the monolith.
Sin is also allied with mutants.
Sin became a bit easier than Monolith now that they're friendly with mutants now, also they get a Knot perkifact at the beginning to be used later on once you're better off.
Other than that, the playthrough will be pretty similar to Monolith. Only benefit the Monolith get is that you're friendly with Zombified Stalkers and you're immune to Emissions.
Got replaced with burers in 0.94

Been a while since I've played Sin but it probably is still the case. If so, then the Monolith really do only have the advantage of emission immunity. :\
I'd say Renegades is the hardest faction to play. You're enemies with essentially everyone, have very little allies, don't really have a main base, and have no additional benefits.

Ehh, you got Bandits. Their missions are pretty simple and you often get the task where you get three bandit companions until you complete the task (in which there is no penalty of NOT turning it in other than stalling the reward).

You have to get to him FAST and accept the quest
After that raid will start, kill em and loot everything + money
