ive seen something simmilar before. some person from eastern europe was very mad at me and the server i was an admin of, and we used to host lobbies that are p2p. so without a vpn they would just ddos us anytime we tried to setup a game. so we had to play with a vpn and what comes to it. that person later killed themselves

and the combination prevents them from spamming a shit load of posts to rank up in a few hours, or letting accounts sit idle for a few weeks to use as raid accounts.

So if they can't spam in newbies, they will spam in support channels
