you dont need to change anything really, my game looks almost perfect IMO and i dont think i changed anything besides a couple minor tweaks, just go look at the settings and decide on your own if you want to change anything : )

That actually makes a lot of sense. It's hard to hit a moving target. Distance is also a factor, but it doesn't really matter anymore when you have the proper gun and scope. Plus, distance doesn't matter when you're standing still so. The thing I like about this game is that most things you find difficult, the Ai also has systems implemented to struggle with them.
