To be fair I got my share of luck doing detective work on this run's first jupiter visit. It's always a warzone the first time around, and you can get a lot of high tier squads.

Renegades and Duty fought at the workshop below yanov, and I got an AS VAL (green barrel), Command Skat (which i can use), and normal exoskeleton (which i cannot use). ISG and Military fought at the jupiter/outskirts tunnel entrance, where I got an AMB-17 (which I cannot use) and a pre-upgraded ASh-12 with the SUP kit (which I also cannot use)

I just don't see a need for the AI to be a lot more accurate other than being frustrating for the average player, as they are forced to move a lot more between cover to gain a favorable position against the Enemy
but it doesn't really play well in the case there's a lack of cover, you're bound to get hit several times while being unable to fight back as standing still is certain death
